Praline and cream with caramel drizzle

It was nice seeing an abundant amount of workers. All friendly! I ordered the praline and cream with caramel drizzled on top. Super yummy! Kinda pricy, 2 ice creams was $20.

Go go check it out for yourself! You can't go wrong and they also offer lactose free for only a $1....

MooMcginn's is my families go to ice cream spot! They offer every possible ice cream flavor you can think of! Moos is a very clean shop with seating available. They have two locations one in Rincon and one in Springfield. I am dairy free and they have a great dairy free option. Stop in, you won't be disappointed!

This place is amazing! The ice cream is so fresh (they make it right in front of you!) as well as light yet filling as the serving sizes are so generous. There's a plethora of flavors to choose from so there's something to please everyone. Would highly recommend MooMcGinn's!

    "Lactose free" cookies and cream

The lactose free ice cream tasted like crumbled ice with oreos... we asked what the difference was before purchasing and they did not mention how it was actually made. "Its a bit different and the taste is stronger". Once "ice cream" was given I took it back because it was not as described and the employee even said he miscommunicated the way he described it prior to purchasing. Said "we actually use vanilla flavored --instead of lactose free cream and cookie crumbles instead of oreos". Refused to make another one with normal cream since it was not what we expected nor did it taste good (literally taste like ice with no flavor) and said we would be charged again... very disappointed in the service and product.

Oreo cookie cheesecake ice cream with the new waffle bowl. Yummmm

Took over an hour waiting for ice cream to be made. Very expensive and only 1 size, way too big

Good ice cream and service. Prices are a bit high and not the cleanest. It's a fun place.

They are barely listening and there is no customer service. Food: this is hit or miss. However recently it seems more of a miss. On our last visit I specified TWICE no whipped cream on my milkshake. Guess what? It had whipped cream on it. Additionally, it wasn't even fully mixed. My hubby ordered an ice cream Sunday. He described it as "dry". What does this mean? Well for starters either they forgot to put on the sauces or their is a major shortage and everyone just gets a drop. Aslo, he noted that the ice cream tasted very ice crystal-like. You know, the kind of fake ice cream you find in a buffet? DQ should not taste like that. I tried some and noted that he was absolutely right, it was BAD ice cream. This was all very disappointing. We keep trying to give this DQ a chance but I think we finally need to end the relationship.

I was the very last person to receive my order with the young girl being EXTREMELY rude when i inquired about why I had waited so long. All the orders after me had their food and were gone. She gave me attitude and told me I could get my order myself. When I approached counter another worker asked what was going on and instead of listening to the CUSTOMER she allowed the employee to keep talking and stand in front of her so that she couldn't listen to me. The employee actually wouldn't shut up. The other worker didn't even make an attempt at resolving the issue. Both should be fired! I have always had poor service at this location but have been tolerant. No more! There are other ice cream places in town and they will get my business!

Rain has a way of making you hungrier for the right kind of food. We walked into Georgia Comfort…read moreKitchen off I-95 on one of those gray, damp Georgia afternoons, and from the first bowl of gumbo, the weather outside stopped mattering entirely. We ordered off the menu rather than the buffet -- though both were available and the buffet looked well-stocked and genuinely tempting. My husband had the Shrimp & Grits: Georgia shrimp over stone-ground grits with andouille sausage, peppers, onions, bacon, and a sherry cream sauce. Rumor had it that was the move, and the rumor was right. The grits alone were the kind you don't stop talking about -- velvety, deeply seasoned, the kind of base that makes everything sitting on top of it taste better than it already is. I went with the fried catfish, a side of mac and cheese, and a bowl of gumbo. Honest take: the catfish itself was good -- the fish was fresh and well-flavored -- but the batter had gone a little soggy, which kept it from landing where it could have. That's the kind of thing that varies by timing, not kitchen quality. The mac and cheese, though, was exactly what you want: cheesy without being gluey, hot all the way through, properly indulgent. And the gumbo -- chicken and sausage, rich and built with patience -- was the best thing on my side of the table. On a rainy afternoon in coastal Georgia, it was exactly right. Then there was the cornbread, served with peach cobbler butter. That detail alone tells you something about how this kitchen thinks. It's not an afterthought. It completed everything around it. I'm not from the South, and I won't pretend to have a lifetime of comparison points. But there's a kind of food that makes you feel like you were born into it anyway -- like your body already knew what it was tasting. That's what happened here. Good for road trippers, families, rainy days, and anyone who needs a real meal after a long stretch of highway. Four stars, with the grits alone pulling hard toward four and a half.
