We have went to Moon Dog Pizza from day one, and it was so different than anything we had tried, and we have many pizza places here, and some are very good as well. But their brick oven pizza just is the best in mine and my families opinion, although they are a bit pricey, its a very good dining experience! Friendly Staff, they gave me and my daughter a Moon Dog Pizza shirt, when they were only giving one per family, but she wanted one so they gave her one too, I really appreciated them doing that for my daughter. We love the beauty pizza, and the Italian subs, I recommend you at least give it try. We have eat at every single pizza place in town and surrounding towns, and we think overall Moon Dog has the best pizza! read more

Good food and friendly staff. I would recommend the cheesesticks, calzones, or pizza. They have specials most days, like a large one-topping medium pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays for $4.99, and spaghetti dinner specials on Wednesday and maybe Thursday...I can't remember. We came in during a Wednesday happy hour and got two beers for 1.38 each! They weren't Bud either, though they didn't exactly have a robust beer selection. Came here on a rainy day for a few beers and some pizza. We were only 2 of maybe 6 people in the place so we ready for a relaxing lunch. We grabbed a table waited for a server but didn't realize you ordered up front. We didn't see a sign saying this but maybe we just missed it. So I went up and ordered a pitcher of beer before we decided what to eat. Waited about 10 minutes before I had to remind them we were waiting on the pitcher that was half poured sitting under the tap. I understand that with a new keg that you have to wait for the foam to die down but it had died down about 5 minutes before I reminded them. She apologized and I shrugged it off...no big deal. The woman working the register offered me a first time visitor pizza special for a $4.99 medium pizza which I was happy to take her up on. The guy came out and dropped out pizza off and didn't say anything. We thought maybe he was bringing plates back but we soon realized that you have to go up front and get those as well. Once again, this is all fine to self serve but I think maybe they should give people a heads up as it can come off the wrong way. I will say that maybe we missed signs placed in the restaurant saying this but I don't recall seeing anything. All in all it wasn't a terrible visit we just didn't see a lot of great customer service or friendliness. The pizza was pretty good. The patio outside looked awesome with multiple flat screen TV's and looks like a cool place to come watch sports. One could consider my friends and I regulars at the local moon dog in wise. Not only do we always receive exceptional meals regardless of what we order, we also receive top tier service from their delightful employees. One potential fix that could help the pizza is once in a while the large pizzas aren't cooked long enough. I would encourage one to try the medium pizza (cooked to perfection in the medium size) and also items like the cheese sticks, and the pizza muffins which in my opinion are some of the best things this restaurant has to offer. I would have given them 4 or 5 stars when they first came to town, I have ordered subs pretty much exclusively and the first say 8-10 times I ordered ( I always order the Italian sausage and ham cap sub) it was great, I wanted to eat another even though I was full. However the last several times I have ordered the Italian sausage and ham cap sub, it has had mustard on it even though I specified each time NO MUSTARD only mayonnaise. The last time I should have taken it back but I was all the way to Coeburn by the time I ate it. I'm trying one more time. I'm going to go in order what I want and ask them to fix it with no mustard only mayonnaise. If they put mustard on it I'm done. They will receive no more of my business. read more

I went here with my grandmother during a weekend visit. The food was okay, and the staff was interesting. I got one of their specials plus a side salad. The side salad is HUGE! We split it and still had some left. I like the pizza crust, but there was no sauce and way too much cheese (and I love cheese). Our cashier was a little rude toward my grandmother. There was a small birthday party there who took all the seats leaving us with no seats (tables but no extra seating). The birthday agreed to give us seats. The staff member who delivered the food was friendly. The girl busting tables said to us as we were finished eating and chatting that "if we want to leave a tip for her that we could leave it on the table." Maybe they are not being tipped due to no actual waiter/waitress? That's fine, but make it clear what to do instead of making me feel guilty into leaving a tip. Have been here on two occasions. Let's start with the good things, it's clean, friendly staff, good music, good salads. The first time I went I got a large cheese pizza. I was expecting it to be excellent considering that's what they are famous for. When it came to the table I was pretty disappointed, brick oven pizza??? Not at all, I noticed they don't even have a brick oven. It seems like they only cooked it until the cheese melted. And boy, was there a lot of cheese on it. Definitely overkill. The second time I got the baked ziti. When it came to the table I noticed it was only ziti noodles with marinara sauce and some mozzarella cheese on top. (Baked ziti is supposed to have lots of different cheeses baked into it) The noodles were as hard as rocks on the edges and the middle was cold. Seems like they microwaved it too much.
