I am so thankful I found Chandra! After searching and stopping in at so many places I couldn't find a reasonable location that would do the fusion extensions for me... for under $1000! I have been wanting to try these for months since I decided I CANNOT do sew in any longer! Anyway, Chandra installed about 150 tiny strands on my head, 22 inches and I paid $450 (with her tip!). I've had these for about 6 weeks already and will NEVER do sew in again! The hair is still in perfect condition and I can't even tell I have them in my head. God, what took me so long?! I'm so lucky I got this lovely lady as my first ever hair extension person. I had a very bad haircut that was too short and had a bunch of big events coming up so decided to get extensions for the first time. She came over and lovingly put tape ins. It looked great and it actually still looks good ! I got them in June and now it's January and I have a bunch still in ! Yes, 6 months !!!!!! I did baby them for the most part. Washed my hair less often , used more dry shampoo, slept with a bonnet on, etc. I loved them, I hardly wore my hair up, I am one of those that wears her hair up too often. So this was my first time doing extensions and Chandra was very kind with me. My few issues are as follows...... 1. I was persuaded to buy a better quality hair at a higher price and agreed bc i was going to do it I wanted the best. The color was way off and I was told just to dye it on my own. and a few hours after install I noticed the hair was really corse, and whites spots all over the ends. I thought maybe the hair just needed to be washed. After the wash i realized the corse hair had lots of dead and split ends. 2. When I was first quoted $300 for install to include shampoo/conditioner and a brush none of which I received. I was also told there would be a follow up appointment included in the $300 price to clean up, move etc the extensions. There was no follow up. Not even a phone call or text 3. I was told the bonds would stay for 3-6months. Well 1.5 months in and the bonds have worn away to now only a few centimeters which will soon be all gone (not I don't straighten, condition, curl nor blow dry my hair and I use the shampoo recommended for fusion extensions) Moral: the more expensive hair is NOT WORTH IT and take the "quoted install/procedures" with a grain of salt.........disappointed. read more

This was not my first time dealing with hair extensions, but it was my first time getting long lasting extensions put into my hair, so saying I was nervous was an understatement. I've had my fair share of hair disasters with professionals, and also have short, thick, insanely damaged hair from a year of bleaching and crazy colors, so I did a lot of research and decided to go with Chandra, which was the best decision I've ever made. Her prices were not only already way lower than any other stylist I could find, but she was having a promotion when I contacted her, and I ended up getting I believe 18-inch keratin bond extensions and application for around 500. If you don't know much about extensions that's like unbelievable. On top of all this, the first time we sat down and began putting in hair, we quickly realized we didn't have enough hair and had bought too little. Chandra took her tip and put it towards buying more hair for me so I ended up only having to spend about 50 more for the rest of the extensions, which was needed on top and bottom.
