My wife and I were doing a yard project and on Friday evening after tilling up my backyard.We located this company online that said that they could remove the sod and dirt from my yard that evening. Within minutes without a phone call , our appointment gets changed to saturday evening at five p m. I then\nCalled them to ask if they could do four pm , since they only do our long services primarily. On Saturday, it is 455, and they have not shown up yet.So I call them. He tells me that there are five minutes out and that the four o'clock time is a window. That window was not discussed during our\nInitial ask for services , nor was it anywhere that we saw on their website. When they do show up and we go to the backyard , they are totally unprepared , have no tools , make an excuse that their other trailer with the tools went back to the shop , even though we put on the request for service exactly what we were looking to get removed , dirt and sod. So I ask, can they do it Sunday at first?He says , no , and I said , well , if you can't do it , you can't do it then all of a sudden sunday at noon becomes available. Something didn't sit right with me.So I looked at their website , I looked at yelp reviews , and I really didn't feel like I wanted to give these people my money. Also, when you go on to their website, they had multiple appointments on Sunday morning.For exactly the services I needed. Needless to say, I called them well.First text them at 7 AM, and again later on to cancel my appointment.I even called them to make sure they weren't coming out there because I didn't wanna inconvenience them because I had found somebody else. But guess what , no response which if you look at yelp , reviews for this organization is pretty typical. I\n Can say by reading their website? They sound like a great organization. But the business practices that I experienced and the lack of preparation and the excuses doesn't get overlooked just cause you have a pretty website. read more

GET A DETAILED WRITTEN QUOTE!!! His word is no good!!! I don't think I could be more displeased. Owner Zach is a smooth talker but I don't trust him. He came to quote my backyard for Rock removal. I told him As far as I was aware of the rocks were 2 inches when he gave me the quote, he told me 2K I looked him in the eyes and said and no changes, right? He said you have my word we shook hands. I said you have equipment right he said oh we're not gonna do it with equipment All equipment does is push the rocks it doesn't get them out. "You let us worry about that!" hour or so into the job Calls me and tries to update the quote from 2K to 3K. So the rocks were deeper than he thought, but I pointed out the fact he didn't even bring a shovel to our quote. I asked him to just take the rocks 2 inches down and leave the deeper stuff. He said he has a higher standard of his work and wants all the materials pulled up. So I'm writing this review because my trashcan is full of rocks (why I gave up and called Zach) And the spot that he removed for $500 deposit, they didn't touch the fabric and theres still rocks.... I found a guy to do the whole job for 2K. I just don't think as a customer that was assured he could do it. I deserve to be left with a trash I literally hired him for. If it's too much and you wanna be done, that's fine, but to just keep the deposit And not even honor our original deal I would recommend not going with him. He clearly lies because his next plan was to rent equipment, but as I said in our text, I thought equipment didn't work. Slimey Business in my opinion. He's got great reviews, but if you read the bad ones, they're just like my story. He's quick to get defensive as well. Tried telling me I didn't even look at depth when I had said I did. Essentially calling the customer a liar come on dude. Pro tip before you give your word and guarantee something actually inspect what you're quoting. When you do a customer dirty, you should probably reply to texts. read more

This is definitely a WARNING you need to consider. I hired MOON junk removal to do a variety of jobs & one of them was Landscaping, while his employee was mowing my lawn a ROCK FLEW THROUGH MY PATIOS DOORS SHATTERING THEM!!!! There were shards of glass everywhere, he had his employee knocked the glass out of the doors as I requested because I told him this is very dangerous & if it falls or collapses while me & my daughters are here we could get hurt. His employee proceeded to remove the glass shards with a commercial broom, while Zak the owner of MOON junk removal assured me & my partner being fully aware he was being recorded on my phone, stating that he was going to take care of all of this & had insurance!!!!! On the video recording, he continued to say all he needs are a few estimates & he would take care of it. Zak then asks to use my household vacuum to clean up the shards which I refused & suggested to get a shop vac.... He would not & just had his employee pick it up the "best he could" Finally, w/o any real regard for our safety...protection from the elements, he puts up a type of blue "saran wrap" on the door WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY STRESS & NERVOUSNESS....****MY CONCERN FOR OUR SAFETY!!!! I told him this puts me in great danger from the weather elements and from all kinds of dangerous elements, not having any security, I brought up putting up board and nail it, and he said "HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME". IT GETS WORSE!!!!! He immediately STOPS all forms of communication with me, does not respond to text, will not answer my calls and now is stating he will not pay the costs that I have provided w/three different estimates...... The money it cost me to hire a handyman to put up a temporary board for safety reasons. AND HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME FOR THAT DAYS SERVICE---that he couldn't finish because he stopped halfway to take care of the shattered glass??? *******It is INCONSIDERATE, CARELESS, CRUEL RUDE & INCONCEIVABLE as a business owner NOT to have any accountability to the DAMAGE that you cause when you come in a home owners property! Those kind of practices is a red flag, and you do not need to be in BUSINESS without ACCOUNTABILITY I think that's in the handbook entrepreneurs 101! I am so disheartened and unsatisfied, STRESSED and I am going to have to pursue this in court as HE REFUSES TO TAKE CARE OF THIS RESPONSIBLY. I will continue to report this EVERY WHERE I GO to include word of mouth!!!!! Starting w/ the BBB & ALL SOCIAL PLATFORMS giving honest, transparent & A REAL ACCOUNT to expose Zak for what he did and what he did not do!!!! Shame on you sir!!!!! GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE. Zach estimated the clean up of my yard would cost me between $399 & $499 but charged me $600. After several delays and equipment failures he did some work for which I was very grateful but overall it was very shoddy work. He used a weed-whacker and as far as I know did not mow, so lots of the tall "bits" were merely just laid flat, and he left 3 old piles that I had raked up untouched. When he was leaving, he asked me what I thought, and (I am short-sighted) I said it was okay. However, when I walk around later, I could see that it was a very shoddy job for $600. When he was asked to come back and complete the work, he said it would cost me an extra $100! Zach is very charming, and he may be a Veteran, but I am 81 and I thought I was supporting someone ethical. Given the time, I could have done a better job myself. read more

Very efficient and respectful! They even called me to be upfront about the minimum fee required. (service requested: appliance removal) Had an old dishwasher that needed to be carried down a flight of stairs and they were quick and out of my place within minutes. read more

Changed appointment and their system did not notify them so the first appointment was a no show. Next appointment he arrived late without calling. Lastly, he did a poor job cleaning up. When I texted him that he did a poor job cleaning up he ghosted me. Very unprofessional. read more
