The café itself is beautiful, clean, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. I honestly enjoyed the location and ambiance more than the açaí bowl itself. The bowl wasn't bad, and the toppings were fresh, but the açaí base was served completely frozen, making it difficult to eat. I had to wait over 12 minutes before it softened enough to enjoy. I used to love going here for smoothies. Unfortunately the past couple of times I have been here it's been awful. The first time my smoothie tasted like mouths full of peanut butter. Then I gave it another shot and my smoothie came out almost warm like a latte. It wasn't frozen. We didn't have time for a remake (had already been waiting) so I asked for ice cubes just to make it cold. I'm a fan of Raining Berries in New Tampa and now I'm a fan of this location too! They just came out with Fall items on my visit. I had to come back for the BEST PSL I've had with Oatmilk all season! Not everyone gets the oat milk right as even Starbucks makes oatmilk wrong. So good I could've sworn it was regular milk...it was frothed so creamy! The fall bowls are something different than what you would expect in an açai bowl. The pumpkin purée although he called bowl had a warming affect to it for fall. You just have to try it! It's on the north side of busy Brandon Boulevard, in the same strip mall as Kane's, Bolay, Mission BBQ and Keke's, so there's plenty of parking. It's a coffee shop, yes, but there's so much more-from smoothies to artisan tea to bowls, frappes, matcha, avocado and Nutella toast... to grilled cheese! I'm wondering if the menu varies slightly from location to location and by season. I had the blueberry fields smoothie when I was there in early May 2022. I came in with a totally different idea, but the super nice gal at the counter talked to me a bit and steered me in a better direction. She personalized the experience for me. That connecting with customers is so rare and so appreciated. My first time in will definitely not be my last... just because of that! But wait, there's more! This place is clean, modern, with a warm vibe. It's not big, but has plenty of tables and easy chairs. It's a good place to gather with others or gather your thoughts. I sat there sipping my yummy smoothie thinking: I should have ordered more, so I could stay longer. It's open early, so you can start your day off here-all cozy and happy and healthy. Who doesn't love that? The prices are comparable to similar places... the bathroom was clean... I'm ready to go back... like now, right now. And soon, there will be more locations. Customer Service is amazing, had a little bit of a wait though with only two employees present. Lots of parking spaces as it in a shopping complex. Decor is amazing, much like it's other locations with florals, neon lights, stylish furniture, and even a pink telephone booth ! Two star because along with the wait. My drink was terrible. I didn't even drink half of it. When ordering the strawberry cold foam matcha, I asked was it sweetened already, she stated it was. It was just a terrible matcha latte. I've never had one as bad as it. I went outside took pictures before trying and getting to my car. I tried it in the car and immediately walked back in to asked for it to sweetened. They added some simple cane syrup, which they were kind enough to do but honestly wish I just would've asked for another drink or my money back. I love matcha. So I've been on an açai bowl kick for a while now so anywhere I go I look for an açai bowl. I happen to be in Brandon So I decided to stop at raining berries. I did read the reviews and they weren't encouraging but I figured I'd give it a shot. Most of the places I've gotten açai bowls from the acia is the headliner and the toppings are like the backup singers. This one was the opposite. The granola was the headliner. The açai bowl I got from raining berries is more like a granola bowl with açai berries at the bottom. The Açaí layer was thin and hard to get to so I was eating mostly granola. By the time I could reach the acia the only "topping" left was PB and some granola. Don't get me wrong the açai layer was good as were all the other layers it was just different than the ones I've had in the past. I was just looking forward to the acia being.......more. I'm a newbie eating these bowls so by no means am I giving you a professional opinion just my humble opinion and preference. I attempted to get a picture of the layers so you can see. If this is a "normal" bowl feel free to let me know and I can reset my expectations. While I did enjoy the bowl it did not satisfy my craving for an açai bowl. If I have another craving I will not get one from raining berries however if I want a granola bowl I know where to go. The restaurant itself is cute with some great photo ops, a few seating areas and it's well lit. The chive scone I got was good. The first impression I had of the place was that it was very clean and inviting. There are a lot of seats, and you can sit in large comfy chairs if you are there for an afternoon coffee hangout, or sit on a barstool with a high table (with outlets on the side!!) if you want to work. They are conveniently located in a busy plaza with a gym, breakfast place, a Beall's, and nail salon. It's nice because you can get a lot of things done in one place. Because it is such a large plaza, there is ample parking and you will never run out of a parking spot, which is always nice. The service was great and the lady was very helpful and patient while I chose what I wanted for my bowl. I ordered a make-my-own acai bowl with strawberry, kiwi, banana, granola and nutella. It was amazing and the portion size was definitely enough to make me full, and I did not have dinner. So dessert for dinner it was! Even though it looks very nice that the bowl is very full (see photo), it was a little hard mixing everything so I had to ut some of the fruit in the cap of the container so I could mix the nutella and acai (just to ensure I don't end up with a spoonful of nutella at the end, which, now that I say it, I'm not going to be mad if it happens either way). Everything was fresh and tasty! My husband got a smoothie which he enjoyed as well. We will be coming back soon to hang out, and we are so happy we have an acai bowl place near us! read more

But 1 more star for your $9 protein chocolate smoothie that at least was easier to put down. Such a cute place I found on Instagram and realized they had a Brandon location. A lot of people here when we went around 2pm. I got an açaí bowl which had barely any açaí in it. Since the bowl itself is so narrow it's hard to get a bite with everything all at the same time. I've been waiting for Raining Berries to open a new location in Brandon. They have locations in Lutz and St. Pete. This will be the 3rd location to open in the Tampa Bay area. There will be one in Riverview too. Yay! This visit was on a Saturday morning. I got there pretty early and had my choice of seating. I love the décor and clean atmosphere. I was greeted right away. Everyone looked happy to be there. The menu is full of all kinds of healthy options. They had fruit bowls with all different bases such as açaí berry, pitaya, coconut sorbet, and a matcha sorbet. The whole menu was a little overwhelming at first. I actually walked in thinking I would get the avocado toast but I ended up getting the matcha paradise bowl. It was absolutely delicious. It had lots of mango, pineapple, and strawberries. There was granola, but they didn't go overboard with that. Some places give you too much granola, so I was happy for that. The matcha sorbet was actually sweet but with the green tea flavor. I'd totally get this same bowl again. I also decided to get a latte. I initially wanted the white chocolate matcha latte, but I quickly changed my mind after seeing some of their seasonal offerings. They have many unique flavors of all kinds of tea and coffee variations. I got the coconut flute latte with coconut milk. In retrospect, I kind of wish I had chosen a different milk option. It needed one that was more creamy such as oat milk or whole milk. It was still good. There are many milk options. I'll try something else next time. So, they have smoothies (including spirulina blends) and kombucha as well. They have a lavender mojito and goji grape kombucha. Those flavors sound great. The menu also has specialty toasts such as avocado, bananarama, and ciabatta caprese. There are so many choices. I even saw artisan teas served in mason jars. This is a place that I will frequent often. It's in the shopping plaza near Bolay, and next door to F45 Training on Brandon Blvd. They just opened recently. The service is great. You place your order up front and they will bring it to your table. I'm so glad I finally got to try it. I had heard so many good things about it from others who have been to the Lutz location. The açaí would be more of a sorbet consistency. This was like a popsicle. I didn't like that. The açaí to fruit ratio was off. Very little açaí and a ton of fruit and granola. No balance.
