The first night, they did not manage quiet time at all, people were still yelling at 12:30 am. The next night, one of the camps had at least 25 people at their site and were playing their music so loud it was deafening throughout the entire campground. We were 100 yards away from them and had to raise our voices to be heard amongst ourselves. The showers and bathrooms were disgusting. (At least the water was hot in the showers) The lake itself is very beautiful but I would highly recommend you find another place on the lake to enjoy the lake.

I ordered chicken strips and fries...I did not get any sauce or ketchup. My husband's meal came out about 15 minutes after ours. Not sure what took so long for a plate of nachos. As for the quality of the food, it was less than expected. The fries were dark brown, way overcooked and greasy tasting. The best part of the meal was the mozzarella sticks, but can you really ruin those? The server was trying, I can't really blame her. She was set up for failure. There was a bartender working. I went into the bar. One table. Yet this poor kid ran her butt off in a FULL dining room with NO help from the bar tender. I can't even complain about the service because I think she was doing the best she could to keep up. I think this is a good hangout for the locals, but during busy summer months they need to step it up and schedule more help.

The girl who was also working helped us out with our paddle board and gave us some good pointers. The store is very well stocked and the people staying at the resort were equally as amazing to be around. We spent 2 hours and the board was around 40 bucks. The area is small but its a perfect swimming hole for families and the boat dock is pretty cool too. We will definitely be back. I really want to rent one of their cabins!

I called Rimrock Lake Resort to let them know that we had been double charged and they refused to refund the money. When I insisted and said this was not okay, I heard the owner in the background say "just hang up on her" and they did--and have refused to take my calls since. DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. I not only was unable to attend my own wedding anniversary, but am out $345 that I will never see again. Truly horrific.

It's a beautiful spot so if they could do something about the vicious ants it would be perfect.
