My wife walked down to the site and saw it was really unlevel, and the back 15 feet just fell off. Gravel was dumped but not spread out, with no attention paid to where it went. The trees were so tight on every side of it, and at the site, there is just no way of either getting to it or getting into it with any safety. When we showed the pictures to the teenage girls running the office/store/restaurant, they said there were pictures of the site online, and we should have seen the way it was. There is one picture, and it's from a low level, looking back at a lake that was full years ago. Tried to explain that we could NOT get there safely, they said no refunds, and there are no other sites. We never PICKED that site; it was assigned by a manager months earlier when we made the reservation and explained what we had for a trailer. This was Labor Day weekend. We had to leave and try to find a different place at a moment's notice. No refund period at this place. Stay away. Unless you want a forest floor drive, Tree roots and all, and rude customer service. We camped at Silver Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

They had fly tape hanging by the bed that you needed to walk past to get into bed. the vent above the stove was dirty and greasy and hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Housekeeping needs to do a better job at cleaning way too many cobwebs. I know it's a cabin in the woods and not a 5-star hotel but good lord some care in the property would be nice. I sent an email and the response I received from Shar was I have addressed this with housekeeping and maintenance. Would have been nice for her to mention sorry your stay wasn't as nice as before but it's obvious they don't care. Please stay elsewhere and don't waste your money.

Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

There is a large pond in the park that you can use for calm water activities. Our grandsons had a blast making friends, cycling and paddle boarding. There is plenty to do right here at Whispering Pines. There is a bounce pad, two nice playgrounds, a dog area, and as I mentioned before, the pond. The sites are large, level and nestled amongst the trees. There is plenty of wildlife for your viewing enjoyment. The park does have many rules in place for everyone's safety; and they do drive around in their little carts to enforce them. *Mind your manners and you shouldn't have any problems.

(flowers n basket for wife). the only negatives, I would say are minor, and probably more of my personal preference item: * i like to choose my own site not be assigned, that being said i asked for a wooded, isolated sight,, got wooded and in an area we would have to our self for 4 of our 5 nights, and really enjoyed the sight chosen for us. (we try to isolate we have a dog who barks too much). *i don't like having to pay for showers, the hassle of having to have quarters, i feel like at a certain price point it should be included. * i would prefer to have a private changing area, for privacy and to keep an eye on my stuff. Hoped for a lake ( Timberlake) or a stream or hiking. we have a 22ft trailer and big diesel 4wd and in low range it was difficult to get in site 32. $154 for two nights. well organized great office staff but would not go back unless their was absolutely nothing else available. They did inform us before hand fwd would be required to get in the site. Most of the sites were the same . Down by the office there were long timers camped right next to each other.

Clean facilities| Great location to downtown…read more We rented a trailer and needed a place to stay that was not too far from amenities in Leavenworth. This was an excellent choice. This is a small little RV park and campground, but I love how the owners take excellent care of the place. One guy was always out planting and watering the plants and flowers. Another guy was literally cleaning the bathrooms several times in the day. The restrooms are nice and clean!! (Showers are available too here) The campsites are alright, but if you have preference and/or a group, I highly recommend getting the lots 31, 32, 33 area. Wow, more room, away from the main road, more trees, and a couple boulders to climb on. It looks bigger than the spot we had, which was spot 4, next to the restrooms. Firepits are very small, but we still used it to make s'mores. They also have a little enclosed basketball area. Sites 17-30 are basically next to the main road. You will hear the road noise, especially if you're camping in a tent, but I still like staying at this campground because there's not many other options for an RV park. Across the street is a gas station and Safeway. You're within a minute or two from downtown too. If you're into climbing, you're not that far from Icicle Creek climbing area either. We would stay here again with friends if we camped/rented a trailer again.

The grounds seem nice enough although finding an empty space could be an issue since it always seems fairly full when we drop by. Found this place totally by accident after pulling off I-84 to use the rest facilities at the nearby Snell park. Arlington is a nice little town out "in the middle of nowhere". The nearest burb is quite some distance away but Arlington has most anything you might want. Gasoline, a couple of restaurants and so on. Five minutes and you can explore the town in it's entirety. We like the marina and have gotten a few good pictures of the various vessels there. You never know when you'll find a new one moored there so it's always fun to swing by. The rail line passes within a few hundred feet of the RV area and trains are frequent. Long freight trains. Passing through railroad crossings with bells and whistles. There's also a lot of BNSF rail maintenance work going on right next to the RV park. I can't imagine that it's all that peaceful there because of this especially at night. But I suppose you get used to anything eventually.

There is overflow dry camping as well that could handle probably another 15 to 20 rigs. Full hook ups or $30 per night. Dry camping is nine dollars per night. Located a short walk to downtown Arlington there is a very nice little park, swimming area, hardware store, grocery store, ice cream shop, and a small health clinic. You are right on I 84 and there are frequent trains, which is the sound of commerce. The RV park/Marina is right next to a very large active green elevator. As we are writing this, it is filling a large barge with grain for parts East. Located right on the Columbia River it's a good representation of this part of the state of Oregon.
