The final result exceeded all of my expectations. The veneer blends in seamlessly with my natural teeth, and I genuinely find myself smiling so much more now. I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. They are NOT flexible at all with creating a dental payment plan. They just expect me to whip out a credit card and charge it. Like most working people I work paycheck to paycheck. My old practice was a single dentist, a few dental assistants and a receptionist. You spend your entire visit with the dentist and he provides you an honest summary of your visit. The total visit is under a half hour. Biltmore Commons has 6 Dentists and at least that many dental hygienist and more dental assistants and receptionists. You spend the majority of your visit with your hygienist and about 2 minutes with the dentist. Because there is so much overhead you get a Spirit Airlines experience where you are constantly getting upsold nonsense. The hygienists are more like used car salesmen than people who clean your teeth. I have been to this place twice and they have tried selling me laser treatment ($100) night guards ($800), Invisilign, a Waterpick ($120), an additional cleaning, and they were going to try to sell me an electric toothbrush if I didn't already have one. The hygienists don't give up the entire visit until you say yes to something. The dentist never says you need any of these things. I never went through with any of these scams. And I will not be going to Biltmore Commons ever again. My first visit was 2 hours (with x-rays) and my second was almost an hour (without x-rays). I have a life and my time is not valued. My recommendation is to find a dentist with less overhead where they can pay for their practice with just regular dental work and not ancillary products.

For context I avoided the dentist at all costs for nearly 25 years due to a pretty rough experience I had as a child which created a bit of a severe phobia (the kind where you seriously consider pulling your own teeth instead of going to the dentist). Like you'd expect my teeth became an issue that couldn't be ignored anymore and I began looking for a dentist. I stumbled across all west family dentistry and took a chance that has turned out to be an excellent choice. I am even more excited to mention that I have begun the NightLase treatment to reduce my snoring. I have done everything you can think of. I don't have sleep apnea and can't get a CPAP but my snoring was ruining my sleep and especially my wife's sleep. We were on our way to a sleep divorce.
