The front desk all smiles and when leaving thy gave me all the information I needed and vey helpful about insurance coverage . Getting my cleaning, Catherine was amazing! I've had troubles with the estimates provided twice! First time I was told my insurance would cover the treatment, but they failed to contact my insurance company to verify. The procedure could have waited for another week or two, which would have made me eligible for coverage by my insurance company. The following year I got another treatment case that indicated my insurance wouldnt cover the procedure recommended. Turns out my insurance does cover 50%! There was no pre-estimate on file at my insurance company. Each time in the case notes they write, "We have obtained a verification of benefits from your insurance company". The front desk staff are always personable and make it a point to get to know you. I recently had a tooth crack and I called hoping they would be able to fit me in a few days. Since this dentist is in network and cleanings are covered 100% I figured I would try them out. Well they do not do the cleanings in network and charge for the cleanings they do. total waste of my time. The doctor was nice enough to offer me thousands of dollars of work before I was rudely forced to sign the estimate. save your self some time and money and stay away. read more

I have been here twice before and had liked the office and people working here, however I will not be returning. I had an appointment scheduled today at 4:00 PM. I had the decency to call the office and apologetically advise them that I would be 10 minutes late. The lady I spoke with on the phone advised "if you are any more then 10 minutes late, you will have to come in a different time because our hygienist has somewhere to be." I parked my car at 4:10 PM and was at the front desk at 4:11 PM. The front desk ladies advised me that I will be rescheduled and because I am "too late" and will not be serviced today. I asked if there was anyone else that could service me today and was told no. To be denied service for an appointment I made 6 months ago over ONE minute is ABSOLUTE crap. The lack of empathy this place has when it comes to their customers being a bit late is ridiculous (because how many times have you shown up to a dentist appointment and they are running late, and they do not call you to give you a heads up). If you come here and there is a scenario where there is a car accident during rush hour, which forces you to be late, know your appointment could be rescheduled. Don't waste your time with this place. I will not be rescheduling with them. read more

I have been coming to see Dr Albrecht and Holly the hygienist for over 15 years and I have received exceptional care and service every time! These folks REALLY care. Dr Albrecht is always on the cutting edge of restorative and cosmetic dentistry and somehow always remembers the details of your past conversations. I don't know if she keeps a journal or has a photographic memory but either way it's pretty awesome. If you are looking for a dentist.... this is the place to go. read more

I have been Dr. Hines patient for the past couple of years and he is the best! The office is very clean, modern, and up to date. Everyone is so nice. Suzanne has been my dental hygenist since my first visit. She is so positive, friendly and professional. She takes her time with my teeth cleaning everytime! This review is for today's visit 8/22/2023. My wife and I have been coming here for at least 6 years now and like any business staff come and go but the dentist that I saw today was more sales person then patient care specialist. My appointment was for a routine teeth cleaning and if my hygienist spent more than 25 minutes cleaning my teeth I be amazed, not that she did a bad job but I did a good one taking care of my teeth these last 6 months or so. The problem occurred when I was asked by my hygienist do I have a preference which dentist I see? Automatically the red light in my head went on because I have never been asked this question in my life on earth at any dentist. To continue, the dentist enters and the hygienist states I have no watches or concerns for any tooth in my mouth and he proceeds to preform his examination without speaking 1 word to me of what he is doing. He takes a air hose and blows air on my teeth then takes a wand like apparatus that I have never seen before that is emanating a blueish light. During this he is speaking dentist gibberish to the hygienist as I hear her typing franticly. The dentist then raises my chair and turns the TV monitor from the morning news to closeups of every possible defect to my teeth. Here we go.... the sales pitch. Now mind you I have no pain to any tooth, no cavity, no issues to speak of outside these sudden cosmetic ones that are now being brought to light completely out of the blue after 6 years of coming here and at least 4 different dentists seen. After educating this dentist that as a retired man of 53 years, vanity plays no part in my life and all I truly care about is my dental hygiene and overall tooth care so I can continue to eat normally free of pain, not to be camara ready. This dentist then stressed he was only bringing all my defects to light so I can be aware that possibly if I do as he recommends my teeth, health and life will be oh so much better. I am sure I will survive without cosmetic procedures and my wallet will be extra healthy as well thank you very much. To end this wonderful story after refusing their recommendations normally the hygienist walks me to the lobby at the end of my appointment, today I had to find my own way out. The care is good and I never had a problem till today but I wasn't a patient coming for a cleaning, they were trying to clean me out, period. Expect to be treated very rudely by staff. This place does not care about their patients, I have spent thousands of dollars here. Just to have them send me paperwork I already filled out, last minute claiming I need to fill it out again, they made me late. Once on the chair the staff rushed me rudely shoving tools in and out of my mouth, telling me it's because I was late, when it was them that made me late. NEXT I had to late cancel and now they won't let me reschedule, except same day on a Monday, making me wait weeks to get my teeth taken care of. When I complained and expressed my frustration Johanna hung up on me. This is one of the worst dentist office experiences of my life. read more

I had recently changed dentists and was recommended to Dental Care Moon Valley. The front office was very helpful with insurance coverage and what I needed from a previous office I visited. My check-in due to Covid was thorough and went smoothly. The office was very clean and my hygienist Shannon was awesome, explaining everything she was doing along the way. After reviewing my xrays and checking the condition of my gums, etc Dr. Hines gave me a clean bill of health. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit. read more

I think this office has the atmosphere and people what everyone is hoping for in a dentist's or any medical office... now they just need to move further east! ;) The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the entire office is very clean and professional. As a person with a variety of dental issues, the concept of "preventative dentistry" is very welcoming. With all the measuring and note taking they do during my visits it makes me feel good that they're keeping an eye on things. Also, there have been a few situations where they have noted something but said, "Might be a filling, but we'll watch it... no need for concern now." That's pretty refreshing when I know some people are concerned about being taken advantage of or sold unnecessary dental work. Lastly, I have very sensitive teeth. During a cleaning the hygienist saw me kind of squirming when she got near my gums. They made a note of it and now always apply a cream to my gums to take the sensitivity away and clean by hand instead of using the ultrasonic equipment! I would have never known that was an option! The good reviews for this place cannot be real. This place tried to charge me $175 for a special cleaning that my insurance doesn't even cover. They refused to do a regular cleaning because they said it may cause more damage to my teeth?? They also told me I had a bunch of other teeth problems that I don't even have. The highest standard for service and dental care starts here. My fear of dentists are long gone because of the family oriented staff. After I quit smoking a few years ago, to treat myself, they made custom bleaching trays and my teeth have never looked better. The cleaning is superior too. Now, thankfully, Dr. Albrecht is my permanent dentist.. So pleased with the service, my 92 year old uncle is a permanent patient for a few years now, and he is treated with the utmost respect, patience, and care by staff. This morning he had an infected rear tooth, after calling we were scheduled at the office in half an hour, and Dr. Purcell and team took care of him, informing him along the way as the work was done. Miraculous. Jessica and front staff are angels. From phone call to completion, less than two hours...We are already home. I have to first start by saying, WOW! The dentist has never really never been my thing. I'm not afraid, just more so a laziness thing. However, I need major work done and am planning on getting jaw surgery at years end. So I had to start from step one, a cleaning. Long story short, I have quite a few visits to get my mouth right. Better late than never right? But since the very first day, the ENTIRE staff has made me feel so comfortable. At home treatment if you will. The front desk is so charming and caring and my hygienist Ashley is incredible! She's easy handed and makes sure comfort is always first. My dentist is Dr. Hines. Dr. Hines is probably the best dentist I have ever had in my 27yrs of living. I had a horrible tooth ache. I went to work chipper and it just kicked me in the ass changing my mood drastically. The throbbing was unbearable. I tried to tough it out and got a next day appointment, but I called back and asked for a today spot. They fit me in. And what caught my attention most, Dr. Hines was on his lunch break and took the time to step aside and do a root canal right there on the spot. Felt nothing, cleaned me up, no pain right now. I mean wow. I'm not one for reviews but when your work is PRISTINE as this office is, you have to give a standing ovation. Thank you everyone and I mean everyone for dealing with my yuck mouth and helping me revive my smile. They are working hand and foot to repair my oral situation and I couldn't be anymore thankful. I have been going to this office and have had outstanding care for 25 years. After Dr. Reinsch passed unexpectedly, Dr. Stavoe bought the practice. Slowly the original hygienists and staff were gone. Recently, upon my semi annual cleaning a new hygienist found nothing but serious issues with my home care and claimed I needed a deep root scaling and planing , not to mention an urging to purchase a Sonicare electric toothbrush. Seems a bit odd that 6 months previous to this visit my home care was great and gums were fine with no bleeding and a normal amount of bone loss due to my age. I was quite disturbed and decided to obtain a second opinion, since this happened to me once before. Upon examination by another dentist without disclosing why I was there, it was determined that while I was a month or two over due for a cleaning, there was no need for a deep root cleaning and scaling and that it would have been unnecessary. I have completely lost faith in this office and Dr. Stavoe. F.Y.I. if you have a feeling that something is not right get a second or even a third opinion. I want to TRUST in MY healthcare providers. read more
