Wow, wow, wow. I must say, I was blown away by this dental practice. I see they've been a top dentist place in the past and they keep true to this rating. First off, the entire staff is incredible. They treat you like humans, friends, family. Just full of respect and consideration in every interaction I've had. I called this office because we had a less than stellar experience at another office prior and were looking for a place central to where I live and where my children's father lives, and they also had super Yelp reviews. They were courteous on the phone, flexible and easy to communicate with, and got me (my kids, 11 and 15) in right away. Filling out the forms online, some questions asked were specific to my children's views and experiences in the past with their dentists. Perhaps I'd just not seen this (what I consider incredibly valuable) question before on a dentist form, but I was pleased to fill it out. What's more though, is they actually READ it and knew how to approach my kids with this information upon their appointments. They communicate a ton with you. They help with scheduling to make it as seamless and as convenient for you as possible. The dentists and hygienists are all wonderful, and my daughter needed to see an Endodontist referral and they recommended someone who was standout as well (thank you for this!!). The office is clean, cute, organized, and have coffee, water (room temp and refrigerated), La Croix seltzer water, ferrero rochers, and salted nut snacks for you to enjoy in the waiting room. Yay for me staying hydrated with a variety of drinks I'm just so grateful that as my kids already have had the "I don't like going to the dentist" mindset, practices like this make it easier and help to reshape how we approach dental hygiene in general. I've been using this practice for years and can't give enough praise for every aspect of all the visits. From cleanings to crowns everything has been done excellently. I recently chipped a tooth and was seen on the next day that they opened and it was fixed within an hour. The problem was that they took all the insurance information, seemingly knew ahead of time that it was OON, and didn't educate so that an informed decision could be made. I have been going to Dr. Goodwin since I was about 22 years old. I am now 43. I must say I am always pleased with my experiences there. He's done several fillings for me and two crowns. Needless to say I don't really enjoy that process, but Dr. Goodwin makes it pleasant as possible. He's always very concerned if you feel any discomfort and makes sure that you don't. Dr. Goodwin's assistant has been with him for as long as I can remember and she is very professional and efficient. The front office staff Kathy and Karen are very kind and helpful. I love Tammy Dr. Goodwin's dental hygienist! I love having conversations with her even though it's difficult with her hands in your mouth. Very disappointed for coming here. I came in to get cleaning for me and I also brought my four kids. I got the worst cleaning and also my children got cleaning very bad job and my son who was 13 at that time had a cavity and the doctor couldn't even help him she had to refer him out For a simple cavity. They charge my insurance so much money I paid so much money out-of-pocket and then I called to get my x-rays because they used up all my benefits took all the x-rays for only cleaning and now I can't do any x-rays because they used all the benefits and they're refusing to give me my x-rays because they want me to pay more money. Are you serious? This is ridiculous unless you are filthy Rich I would never come here because they only care about the money. I got the worst service and my teeth looked and feel like they were not even clean and paid so much out of pocket and insurance and they still want me to pay more to get my X-rays. I will file a complaint on BBB because it's unfair to do this to the patients. read more

I received a text reminder of my appointment, and arrived at the office at the scheduled time, only to find that I was not on their schedule. I was eating my dinner and heard a crunch! Much to my chagrin, I chipped a front facing veneer! I looked like a jack o lantern;(. I call Dr. Mirkhah's office and explained my predicament. I couldn't wait as I had a wedding 2 days from then! She asked me to send her a picture of the tooth which so did. She reassured me that it was something she could take of and she squeezed me in the next morning. I know that if I had called any other popular dentist in Phoenix. I would have been told to wait at least a week or more. I would have missed the wedding and been really upset. Not only did she only fit me in the as soon as she could the next day? I had a beautiful new veneer 2 hrs later! Amazing. I have tried several dental offices since we moved to AZ. I was not impressed with any of them. She and her staff are the BEST!
