Banana maple espresso and honey lavender latte iced
    Jenn S.

Stopped in for a little treat before the work week. I picked up a coffee for my friend who really wanted something banana. The barista subbed banana syrup for blueberry syrup on the blueberry maple shaken espresso. I got the honey lavender latte iced. I'm never disappointed here!

Such a cute and cozy cafe along the main strip of shops in Oakmont! So many drinks to choose from, especially ones less common such as golden milk, charcoal lattes, and beetroot lattes. The house syrups were super cool as well - I've never seen a homemade cranberry syrup before! My latte was delicious and I can't wait to try all the other flavors

A group of us stopped by on a chilly Sunday afternoon. We were definitely cutting it close because we arrived 20 minutes before close, but we really wanted to try Moonbeam. We would ideally have been there earlier, but we were walking through Oakmont and physically could not arrive there any earlier. We were really bummed to find out that the barista working had already turned off the espresso machine. I opted for the Brazilian lemonade because I couldn't order any of the seasonal lattés, and it was very refreshing. The other members of the group ordered similar drinks and were happy with their choices. The interior is very cozy, and it would be a good spot to sit and relax on a rainy day. I hope to be able to make it back and actually try the coffee someday!

Pleasantly surprised with this little coffee shop right on the main drag in Oakmont. My husband and I came here last weekend to work a bit. The coffees were really good and the ambiance was comfortable. My husband also enjoyed the bagel he got. Lots of young kid employees working and they were very kind and helpful. We will definitely come back!

It was so cute inside here and I wanted to like the matcha so bad but it was too sweet for my liking. The bagel and goat cheese spread however was phenomenal!

Cute little coffee shop in the main shopping area in Oakmont. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was delicious! They have a small selection of pastries and some locally made items for sale. Service was quick and friendly! Definitely a cool spot to work at or enjoy your drink.

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and our twins for our morning coffees. Every Sunday we try to hit up a new local coffee and on this morning it was Moonbeam Cafes turn. This was actually our second visit here and this coffee shop is located right on Allegheny River Blvd in the heart of Oakmont. The shop itself is interesting as they have a bunch of random things like scrunchies and pins for sale in the front and then the coffee bar area is in the back. On the coffee bar they had a number of different biscotti options as well as a pastry display. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with one of their summer specials which was supposed to take like a creamsicle latte while my wife went with the campfire bliss (s'mores) special. Our coffees took only a few minutes to make and we were quickly on our way. As we were leaving I noticed that they had a bunch of defer coffee bags out and so I assume that is where their coffee is from. My coffee from here ended up tasting quite good as I could tell that the coffee itself was freshly roasted. It was smooth and bold and was a perfect pairing with the milk. From that standpoint the coffee was super successful and I loved the taste of it. What I did miss was the orange that was supposed to form the creamsicle portion. I got hints of it at times, but most of the time it was missing from the flavor profile. My wife enjoyed her coffee as well and actually finished it today which is saying a lot. The bottom line is that I would stop by here again in the future. Our coffees were really good and I like their different flavors/syrups.

Had fun stopping by this cute coffee shop in Oakland. The staff was very friendly and a fun choice of drinks I'm liking stuff for cinco de mayo. I enjoyed the watermelon lemonade and am looking forward to trying the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. If strolling the shops in oakmont, stop by.

This is a nice little coffee shop in Oakmont. They have traditional coffee drinks so if you order a macchiato or cortado it's the European styled versions. The store has a lot of handmade merchandise and is a nice little craft shop as well. The service was great and the drinks are made quickly.

This coffee shop is located right on Freeport Road in Blawnox. The inside is cozy, with photos on the walls, a couple of pastry cases, and a wall full of plants and plant-themed artwork. The bright wood tables, arranged in a herringbone pattern, paired nicely with the baby blue chairs and gave the shop a welcoming feel. After seeing that they exclusively served Rosa beans and seemed very proud of that, both my wife and I decided to order Americanos. My wife chose hers iced while I went with mine hot. My daughter ordered a cinnamon swirl, and I added a chicken empanada. About five minutes later our entire order was ready, and we headed back to the car. I started with the empanada. It had a nice flaky crust, and the chicken filling had good flavor, although it was a little on the dry side. My daughter didn't share her cinnamon swirl, but she assured me that it was good. After finishing my empanada, I moved on to my coffee and thought it was excellent. It opened with a touch of bitterness before settling into a smooth, rich coffee flavor that I really enjoyed. I was hoping to pick up some distinctive varietal notes on the finish but wasn't able to find any. Even so, it was still a very enjoyable cup of coffee. My wife also enjoyed her iced Americano. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees, and the food made for a nice accompaniment as well.
