This new coffee shop in Pittsburgh is well worth all the hype it's been getting. The owner is very kind and explained how all their syrups are homemade! The vibes inside are great for grabbing a quick drink or camping to get some work done. They do have wifi! I got a hot chocolate banana bread latte that was very delicious! Definitely want to go back to try the salted caramel date latte and any other seasonal flavors they have.

Wow i'm obsessed with this place!!! Their lattes are perfectly crafted, and the flavor profiles are well thought out! The miso blondie latte is truly the best latte i've ever had! Such a cute spot with lovely staff! They also sell other local businesses' products which I always love! Hannah's honey is my favorite. Highly recommend this spot!

The entrance, they have good signage so you don't miss it on this side street.

I've heard excellent reviews about this place from friends and was excited to see them on my coffee crawl card, which gave me $5 off my drink and also meant that I would be certain to get here in May to enjoy it. It's a small shop with a really nice selection of drinks and light bites. I always like to check out seasonal specials, both coffees and matchas. Today they had a chocolate banana bread iced latte and I was feeling more in the mood for a matcha so asked if they could make it that way. They did and it was absurdly delicious. Good quality matcha also. I had my two small dogs with me from stopping at nearby Woof Gang and asked if they could stop in just long enough for me to take my drink and go and that was fine. I look forward to stopping by here anytime I'm in the area! Pro tip: we were parked on Spirit Street which always requires meter payment, even on Sundays. We had already done that when I noticed that the garage by Choolah is even more convenient and I know from experience the first hour there is always free. Recommend parking there!

I love this coffee shop so much! Everything I've had so far has been delicious!! The Chocolate Banana Bread latte & strawberry matcha are my favorites! I love that their syrups are all naturally sweetened and don't have any additives. They also have house-made cashew milk, which is pretty good! Although I usually go for the whole milk, which is from a local farm! They have a small selection of pastries, and other healthy snacks and drinks to-go!

Had to try this place to see what all the hype was about and it did not disappoint! The baristas are super talented and the coffee is delicious. I had the Chocolate Date Banana Bread Latte and it was delicioussss Definitely need to come back soon!

Just opening up a few months ago, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this cafe! Their specialty drinks are all very innovative, with fun fall and festive flavors and other unique ones, all with healthy, natural flavorings which makes it stand out from many other coffee places in the area! The cold brew was great, they use redstarts roasts which always hit, and loved their seasonal cold foams. The staff was also super nice as well as the space, which is a bit small, but shaping up to have a really homey and relaxed vibe. Definitely try this place out and grab one of their specials!

Spot of is easily top 5 coffee for me in pgh. It is definitely on the smaller side so don't expect to be able to sit but they are efficient with orders. It can easily be missed since it is kind of on a back street but 100 percent worth it! I wasn't a huge fan of fan of the tahini flavor but everything else has been 10/10

We came here on a weekend morning, and this place was bustling. While we did secure two seats, there was a constant flow of people in this small storefront. Maybe not the best place to work or chat. I got a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant. The cappuccino was average, and the croissant would have been better warmed. Service was friendly and prompt. I did appreciate the Pittsburgh themed art on the wall. They also have a unique selection of snacks for sale; ranging from canned anchovies to mushroom supplements. Their specialty cold drinks seem to be their main selling point. I might come back and give that a try when it's warmer out.

Great "spot" in East Liberty! They use all organic ingredients and make their syrups homemade! No refined sugars or syrups in their drinks. The staff are always friendly. They do fall and winter specials. The gingerbread latte is so good !! There is a parking garage and first hour is free nearby. Otherwise it's a little challenging to park close by to it. It's cute and cozy inside with tables and bar seating.

New coffee shop located in East Liberty. Staff was nice and service was good. We got the strawberry matcha and the banana bread latte. Can't wait to try more. Small shop but perfect for a coffee spot!

Newly opened! Right in East Liberty! An absolutely perfect little coffee shop! They serve single origin organic coffee- and their flavors are naturally sweetened! Open daily at 8am which is great! Some seating inside and a few tables outside- or grab and go! Their menu is so unique and everything looks amazing! Tried the Chocolate Banana Bread matcha latte and the carrot cake latte from their seasonal menu! They have baked goods from Alegro Bakery as well! But the coffee is totally worth the stop!

So glad I heard about this place on Instagram.... otherwise, I might not have found it! While tucked into a "spot" in the alley, it is right between two major roads in the East End and not hard to get to.The space was inviting and the barista was super personable and guided us through the menu. I was very glad to see they did not use any refined sugars in their baked goods or drinks! We ordered two drinks - iced out pumpkin cold brew and tahini honey iced latte. Both were excellent! The true flavor profile of both drinks were present and the sweetness was just right. I would absolutely return again!

The owner is so kind, taking time to speak with everyone that walks through the door, genuinely interested in his customers. The coffee? The best I've ever had. The flavors of the menu are so unique, nothing you'll find at other coffee shops. Spot of coffee is the best! Lifelong customer here! :)

My husband and I were customers of this cafe in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood one time. The menu listed coffees, espressos, lattes, teas, hot cocoa, cookies, muffins, scones, sandwiches, etcetera. A refrigerator contained yogurts, juices, oat milk, and other bottled beverages. Shelves held bags of coffees and kettles. Employees kindly took my husband's order and payment and promptly made our beverages. Some tables and chairs were inside the cafe, so we sat down to enjoy our beverages. Other customers were using the dining area to read, spend time with family and friends, and work on laptops. I rate the Chai Latte has 5 stars and the holiday Sugar Plum Latte as 4.5 stars. We enjoyed their flavors. Each beverage was 12 ounces, and their total price was $11 plus tax and tip. I did notice that the cafe was very humid because of the cold weather outside and the many customers inside. The windows had much condensation. I wonder if a dehumidifer would reduce the indoor humidity.

One note is, I think they have a wifi limit where only a certain number of people can connect. I tried all night to get a connection and could not for any of my devices, nor could my friend. Overall the ambiance is catered toward chatting rather than studying as the tables are very small and slow or no wifi. I like the night vibes it has though, we need more late night 3rd spaces like this one!! I got a hummus plate and ginger tea. The ginger tea was just okay. The ginger was overpowering in not a good way. It highlighted the spiciness of ginger without letting any type of "tea flavor" through. It tasted more like ginger water. For a tea house, I thought it would have more depth. The hummus platter was very yummy! The pita was warm and the olive oil on the hummus added a nice touch to it. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more had the tables not been as wobbly, the WiFi worked at any point, the tea had a bit more nuance to it, and the cloying smell wasn't there. It is a very good chatting spot for late night meetings ups with great food!

The inside of the shop was packed by the time we got inside so I did not get to see much of it other than the coffee bar and the large selection of baked goods. For my coffee this morning I went with a butter beer cold brew while my wife went with an iced Almond Joy latte. The menu described mine as cold brew with butterscotch syrup and cheesecake sweet cream. My wife's was described as just like the candy bar with dark chocolate and coconut topped with coconut flakes. My coffee actually ended up tasting pretty good. The butterscotch tasted somewhat similar to caramel but the cold brew was definitely the star. It was rich and strong which I always appreciate. The cheesecake sweet cream was also a nice addition as it was sweet like you would expect but also had a bit of tartness that reminded me of actual cheesecake. My wife also enjoyed her coffee and especially liked the combination of chocolate, coconut and coffee flavors. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed our drinks and I would definitely be interested in trying some of the pastries next time.
