Heard great things about Yinz before moving up here. All true! Really good coffee drinks but not pretentious about it. I love the ample seating and that the chairs are comfortable and supportive. Plenty of outlets too. I enjoy the rotating art exhibits. Hope one day they will be open late! Also , great Little Free Library inside.

Great space, with plenty open seating and room to move around. Speciality coffees were very yummy as well. I got the biscoff cookie butter latte and it was so good. The staff was super friendly too!

This place was cute. I got the 721 frozen espresso latte which was really good. The guy who served us was super nice and patient. I think the place could use some acoustic treatments it's a nice place to do work but it's a little loud if one person is loud. The menu was also really small and hard to see!!! You guys should make the font bigger. I also missed your special lattes board bc it wasn't on the menu, but on the small board by the reg. I would probably have ordered one of those. I will have to come back.

First time being here. My friend that I came with said she came often and we needed a bit of caffeine. I got their biscoff cookie latte. It was delicious!! I've actually never had biscoff before and after drinking this I will have to try the cookie. It warmed me right up. Super cool that they have local artists on display. Definitely saw some pieces that I would have loved to have at home. The barista was very nice and helpful with deciding what to get.

For being a first time at this coffee shop and exploring how many options they have, I had to get the purple rain latte with oat milk (iced). The purple rain has black currant and lavender in it which is so delicious as I love lavender drinks. The drinks have 3 sizes and my drink size is a large which comes with 4 shots. A large at most coffee shops is just 3 shots and it's packed with a lot of ice. This drink had the perfect ratio of coffee to ice and it didn't feel like the drink was watered down due to the amount of ice which a lot of coffee shops have an issue of doing. There were a lot of tables but they were mostly all full. I feel like with the amount of single people that were there, there should a section where they have single tables and then tables for larger parties than just all for larger parties. The space was clean and there was enough space to move around without feeling like you're in someone's personal space. The barista made drinks very well and he made sure that there wasn't a crowded line forming. He was also kind and helpful when you didn't know what size you want for your drink. A good barista would make you want to stay at a coffee shop and this guy made me feel comfortable without feeling creeped out. Pros: 2 tables are outside for extra seating Clean Drinks are delicious (Oatmeal cookie sandwich is delicious, highly recommend) Great atmosphere Variety of baked goods Lids do not need a straw which makes the drink feel more eco-friendly Drinks & pastry is a good price and better quality than chain-corporations Cons: Parking (parking lot on Taylor st) I didn't see anything gluten free in the pastries but I also didn't ask. Tables fill up fast

Came here with a friend because of cute the outside is. Sounds really echo in there so it is not a super quiet place to be. I got an iced mocha which was good. The staff were nice.

I stopped by here this past Sunday for coffee with my wife. Every Sunday we try a new local coffee place and on this day we decided to hit up Yinz. We had been to the Yinz on the North side and had enjoyed it, so I was looking forward to trying this one as well. This location is located in Bloomfield right on liberty Ave. Upon entering the shop they have all their baked goods right in front of you with a wall of their merchandise off to the left. Just beyond the baked goods is a place to order and beyond that is a decent amount of seating. For my coffee on this morning I ended up going with a 20 oz cappucino, ordered my wife a 12 oz Yinz haus mocha and then also purchased the lemon berry cookie sandwich from the baked goods area. Our coffees were ready fairly quickly and I headed back to the car. Let's first talk about that lemon berry cookie which was delicious. It was a true cookie sandwich with lemon cookies on both sides and then a raspberry cream in the middle. My wife and I both loved it. The cookies were soft and the cream had a nice flavor to it which worked well with the lemon cookies. Our favorite part of it though was that it was only slightly sweet which had you coming back for more instead of putting it down from being overly sweet. My cappucino here ended being good too as I could taste both the coffee and the milk with the coffee being more prevalent. Finally my wife enjoyed her mocha as she could taste all of its components and especially the coffee. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed not only the coffee but our baked good as well.

Looking for a creative space to work or chat with a friend, look no further than Yinz Coffee on Liberty! Big windows mean lots of light, and the coffee shop is covered in local art! Street parking was plentiful around 8:30 am, but you're only allowed to park there for two hours, if I recall correctly.

The Bloomfield Cafe Mocha is now a Yinz Coffee location! It's decorated for the winter holidays, has a tempting drink list, and beckons you to enjoy a baked good. The barista was friendly, and there was plenty of room to sit.

Sweet service, amazing coffee for a great experience and amazing price. Music isn't too loud and there's a lot of space to work!

I wish I could give this place a higher review, since it's one of the few coffee shops in Pitt open late and I'm a night owl, but drinks are painfully mediocre if not terrible. I've ordered the matcha latte multiple times because it's one of the few shops available, only to realize they never whisk it properly. It got to the point where I've started asking "do you whisk your matcha" as a reminder when ordering. I also frequent the chai latte, but their concentration is WAY too sweet. Baristas are often bored and chat with each other, which is fine, but loud enough to be disruptive to customers trying to get work done (which are a majority). Please hire people who know how to make a drink, otherwise don't be charging $5 for 5K calorie concentrates and dust bin themed drinks. Ik it's the midwest but no.

I love Yinz! This coffee shop is great! I love supporting small business over the big companies. The manger (Nick) is great! He's so friendly and has remembered our orders very quickly. He's always a pleasure to see in the morning. They have a lot of different syrup flavors for coffee. I've tried several of the pastries too. They are all so good! This is a great way to start my morning and I really enjoy coming here!

After walking around the neighborhood, this one had seating, so we went inside. First, I'll say the coffee we tried was pretty good - a cappuccino and a brown sugar cinnamon latte. The barista asked "for here or to go" and the drinks still came in a paper cup anyway despite us saying "for here". I really enjoy having a coffee in an actual glass/mug when I say "for here". The ambiance was a bit confusing... not really sure what they were going for in the space, things were a bit choppy and thrown together. Kinda felt like you were in someone's garage with cluttered items on rickety shelves behind the counter. Our barista was very nice, but an awkward moment occurred when they were ringing us up - barista asked for a tip but then told us not to put the tip on the credit card because the owner steals from them. We felt this was a little uncomfortable and gave some unwelcoming energy. We also tried a Nutella croissant, which was very good! I think this shop has a lot of potential with some changes to service and decor.

The first time I ordered an espresso beverage with the light roast option and what I received did not taste anything close to light. While I…read morethink Espresso a Mano has the better espresso drinks,* Constellation has fantastic pour over: You won't find a better selection of high-end coffee beans anywhere else in Pittsburgh, and no other cafe in the city comes close. The bean offerings are always excellent, varied, and carefully curated. Selecting among them may feel intimidating, but the baristas are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you don't have much or any experience with pour over coffee, you should make sure to ask them for suggestions, and they will guide you towards a good selection. If you are coffee snob with a rotating selection of extra-light beans on your kitchen counter... well you should still chat with the baristas and they can tell you all about what they offer, what tasting notes to expect, what they are excited about, and so on. I am in the latter category, and I always enjoy chatting with the baristas here and learning about their coffee. I also appreciate that, in the summer, you can choose to have a Japanese-style iced pour over (the one that's brewed hot directly onto ice). You don't find that often in cafes, and certainly nowhere else in Pittsburgh. Besides coffee, the ambiance is great. There is not much traffic, so it's a pretty calm place to sit down and work or read a book. I love sitting at the large table in the back room for a few hours and working from there, while enjoying a cup or two of different pour overs. Overall, we are lucky to have Constellation . While Pittsburgh can't compare with the "third-wave" coffee scene in cities like Seattle or Vancouver, Constellation can certainly compete with the best cafes in such cities. *The espresso here is also great, don't get me wrong, especially when they offer a light roast. But I just like the one at Espresso a Mano better. I do wish Constellation offered an espresso flight; given the variety of beans they offer, that would be a unique coffee-drinking experience.

The reason is simple: It's the best espresso in Pittsburgh. Both the plain espresso and the milky drinks (at least the macchiato and cortado, I don't generally enjoy cappuccino or latte) are executed perfectly and taste great. I like the espresso so much, the beans I use for my own espresso at home are always from here. I also enjoy the ambiance at this cafe. In the summer, I love to sit at the long bench by the entrance and watch the traffic outside while enjoying the sun. And in the winter, the interior feels very cozy and is a great place to hang out and chat with a friend. They also display art from (I believe) local artists, and you can buy pieces you like. I have not tried any of the baked goods or non-espresso drinks, so I can't comment on those first hand--though my partner did try the hot chocolate and was raving about it.
