Bike is back on the road, looking good once again, thanks to Moonbeam Scooters.
    Just J.

My 150cc Chinese scooter was stolen. Within a few weeks of filing a police report the cops recovered my bike. The starter, alarm and lock set had been damaged and the bike had been dropped. My insurance company told me to find a shop that would work with them to do the repairs and body work. Moonbeam was recommended to me by someone in my scooter group. I was told that they really know how to work on China bikes and that is the primary thing they do. I called them first. Even though they'd never worked with an insurance company before they had no problems meeting with my adjustor, going over the repairs needed, and coming up with a fair estimate. It can be challenging to find a knowledgeable shop that will work on Chinese scooters. The guys at Moonbeam were extremely nice and professional. I have been to many motorcycle and scooter mechanics in the area (see my other reviews) and these guys seem to have it together as far as 4 stroke Chinese scooter repair goes. I was happy with how my bike looked once they were finished with it. It took a bit longer than I was told it would take but they had to wait on some parts, which isn't so much their fault, that happens. The other things I have had some issues with upon getting the bike back was that the seat had been sliced and instead of replacing it or putting on a seat cover, they glued the rips in the seat and of course now it's coming unglued. Also, the scooter doesn't idle as strong as it used to and stalls out quite often. This stalling problem could just be a matter of turning a screw or doing some minor adjustments, but I'm not sure what those adjustments are, so for now I just start it back up when it dies at every other light and call it good. Despite these minor things, I'd take my scooter there again for sure. They have a 2 stroke mechanic there too so it probably won't be long before I'm back there with my other bike. I give Moonbeam 4 out 5 stars and encourage you to pay them a visit next time you need some help with scoot.

This is the kind of business I would consider my family

He's helped us with everything from dirt bike gear (head to toe) to oil and parts. Back in 2025, we purchased a set of universal training wheels from Carter's for my son's Kawasaki. When we got home to Pahrump, we realized they didn't fit the bike. I called and spoke with Josh, and when I made the trip back, he made the exchange quick and easy, helping us get the correct set. Ever since then, he's been our go to. He always takes the time to acknowledge us, answer our questions, and make sure we're taken cared of. Customer service like that is hard to find!! If you're looking for someone who's knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely wants to help, ask for Josh. We appreciate you, JOSH! See you again soon

I've been here twice with two different people each searching for and buying their bikes. Hugh and…read moreDrake were the sales team members that helped out. Both were very low pressure and quick to help answer questions, provide recommendations, etc. They let us browse in peace, did check in on us in a non-obtrusive way, and made the buying process pretty painless and no frills. Yes it is a dealership, so the ability to cut deals is minimal, they do try to tack on extras but a simple no gets those removed without any hassle or pushiness, and there is a bit of time involved mostly due to financing and them doing the final bike stuff to get it ready to ride out. All things that you should expect, so nothing came at a shock or had us frustrated. I don't feel like we got scammed, just make sure you know what to expect. I do prefer Carter over the other dealerships in town.

Purchased a brand new PWC.... Here's how it went.!!!…read more First off, I already knew what personal watercraft I was in the market for, made a phone call to the shop, asked specific questions and received upfront answers. (Was the PWC in inventory, Pricing, timeframe, etc.) I have visited the shop before, purchased parts, but never purchased from their new or used inventory..... I reached out to sales, let them know what Ski I was interested in, they had exactly what I was after in stock.. since I already knew what I wanted, I didn't immediately visit the shop, I did ask for a couple of pictures, which they immediately sent. I did wait a couple of days before reaching back out, during that time I never felt pressured to close the deal..... when I did reach back out, I asked once again what the out the door price was, it was exactly as quoted! I let them know that I would be purchasing the PWC and that I would bring a cashiers check the following week. The Shop was gracious enough to hold the Ski.... I went to the shop that next week, handed them the check..... since they needed a day to prep the Ski, I didn't do any paperwork that day,(figured I would do the paperwork upon pick up) The next day I received a phone call that the Ski and paperwork were prepped and ready! I walked into the shop, was directed to finance where Steve was waiting, he had all the paperwork lined up, but, first took me out to look at the Ski (it was absolutely gorgeous) ...we went back to the office, he explained every page thoroughly... this was quite possibly the smoothest new purchase ever! So with the paperwork finalized, I was escorted to the Ski where the Service team explained the details of the vessel, went down a thorough checklist,, they covered all aspects of the operation, including the break-in..... I'm no stranger to skis, I immediately started checking oil levels, these guys nailed it... they even greased the steering and ride system cables, (which shops typically don't do) and the Ski was topped off with fuel .......they gently placed the new Ski on my trailer and off I went!!! My overall experience was 5 out of 5... From start to finish, sales, finance and service, they all exceeded my expectations.... They even did the registration and before the 15 day Grace period was up. I received a text letting me know my registration was finalized and I could come pick up the decals at the shop whenever it was convenient..... So, if you're in the market for a new or used, PWC, bike or whatever they happen to have in stock that interests you, rest assured that you're dealing with a very transparent Shop, that values the customer and prides themselves on core values of honesty and integrity above all.....
