If you leave a negative review , the business responds with their own review to try to cover their own ass, so that people who are thinking about using the shop will think 'oh it's just an unreasonable customer.' I have worked with Main St Moto for the last couple of years and the service and work has been exceptional. Recently bought a 2020 RKS with a 114. I initially spoke with Tara who is a jewel, her knowledge of motors and the potential for them was very impressive. We did a work-up for Stage 1 and 2 upgrades. I have known Steve from past encounters, he reviewed the workup and was agreeable. The turnaround time was a few days and the bike is a BEAST!! The techs at Main St Moto are some of the finest I have dealt with over my 47 years of owning bikes. The staff is beyond reproach and extends every possible courtesy to assist with the transition.... which is a little pricey but worth every fng dollar!!!! I have an '05 Big Dog Ridgeback. It's been a great bike, zero problems, but after 14 years, the battery wasn't charging and clutch was creeping. Turns out stator had basically disintegrated which perhaps cracked the clutch hub with all the broken stator parts floating around in the primary. After diagnosing the problem, MSM sent me photos to show the damage and the damaged parts to get permission to move forward. Really appreciated that. Just felt like a real stand up honest shop. Replaced the stator and clutch hub. Bike came back as good as new and a year later is still running great. Not one drop of oil under the bike since they worked on it. Seems to run better than ever after going through the shop. Really happy with the work. Much appreciated. read more

I'm a bit behind in writing my review, but here we go. July of 2019, I had an appointment for a dyno on my 2018 Road Glide. When I purchased the bike, I had dealer installed stage four kit. When Steve began the dyno, he heard a knocking noise coming from the front cylinder. Upon closer inspection, he discovered that three of the four rocker arm bolts were loose. After discussion with Steve, we decided to replace the bolts with Fueling. My experience was Great. Steve, Tara and the entire team were very friendly and professional. After the service, I left the shop and headed out on a seven thousand mile ride. Cant tell you how Happy I am that Steve was able to fix the problem. Cant Recommend or Thank everyone at Main Street Moto enough. read more

Very greedy business, the owner is super rude. I needed to replace the rear air suspension on my motorcycle. I spoke with three people working at the shop (owner included ) who told me that it would cost $300 for the labor to do so. They were made very aware of the brand and model of my motorcycle, the brand of the air suspension kit I was bringing in and that the old air suspension system needed to be removed as well. Once the motorcycle was in their shop I got a phone call from a service guy being very dramatic and telling me that the whole bike needs to be disassembled and that they can't figure out how to install the air suspension (which I triple checked on prior to dropping my bike off). For these reasons it will now cost a minimum $1000+ for the labor. I asked to speak to the owner who was super rude and defensive, not caring that they were tripling the original estimate, wasting my time, energy and money ( had to take a day off and rent a trailer to get the bike to his shop). I could definitely tell he did not take a look at my bike because he mentioned that I brought my bike in dissembled with so many parts needing reinstalled which was not the case, the entire bike was in tact, just needed the air suspense switched out. I double checked the original $300 estimate by calling a few other shops locally and out of the state, which all gave me an estimate between $300 to $400 for the exact same work. I ended up picking up my bike from Main Street Moto, not willing to pay the newer estimate starting at $1000, only to find the air suspension kit I had dropped off had not been touched or unwrapped...how can they justify tripling the estimate when they did not even take the parts out of the box. Next, they tried to charge me $103 for diagnostic and STORAGE FEES... unbelievable!! Got into an argument with the owner, got insulted, he told me to get my f^%$@NG piece of shit bike out of here. Unbelievable customer service. Finally got my bike done somewhere else locally for $350. read more

These guys are awesome! I brought in my 2000 Buell blast that was leaking fuel the the air filter. They found a replacement carburetor and rebuilt it got it squared away in about a week. Bike runs better than new. I highly recommend these guys for repair work. read more

Took my road glide for 5k service and had a code red light on. They took care of it in a professional way, timing was good and courteous through the whole process, no issues whatsoever, I will not dispute the price charged, coz I am happy with the work and I know that the "hd" dealer will charge me almost twice the amount. Great service and very nice People. I got my oil changed and forks lined. I had asked for a new spring for my jiffy stick. They could have sold me one but said my old one was just fine. Picked up my Bike today and there was a mistake made mixing my bike with another, anyway, long story short they were more then apologetic and owned up to the mistake without hesitation. Don't go anywhere else. I rode up to Las Vegas from Cali when my ignition wiring harness started flaking out. The bike would just shut off when the handlebar was turned full lock. When I brought it in, Steve looked at it and quickly figured out that the part would have to be replaced, soldering the connection probably wouldn't survive long on my thumper. I was in town for a couple of days, so they overnighted the part from BMW and installed it the very next day. After I show up and pay a very reasonable parts + labor, I get the keys from Scott. By the way, at this point, I'm already happy with the bill for just the ignition harness being replaced. Scott tells me that not only did they replace the part, they adjusted and lubed the chain. "Also, did you notice that your trip meter was broken? I went ahead and fixed that." I was floored. You won't find any other place that will treat you like Main Street Moto does. When you roll up, you're taken care of like family. Don't bother with any other shop. read more

My clutch cable snapped on me in the middle of nowhere. On my way to Harley I figured I'd throw some business their way because I had been in there before. And yes, like other reviews, after getting an estimate and putting my bike in I get a call back that other things are needed to get bike running and original estimate just about doubled the last time. But anyways I figure clutch cable no big deal and Harley always expensive. I bring in my old cable so they don't screw up the length, they up sell me to an aftermarket cable that ends up being way shorter but also doesn't work with my bike. I had a road king not something exotic they shoulda known that. Paid way more than what Harley charged me too. On top of that I'm out in the middle of nowhere in115 degree heat trying to get this thing on and I'm having problems obviously, so I call them with a simple question. Whoever answers starts talking about how the "clutch expert" will call me back. Three hours til they close. I hear laughter before they hang up. Never got the call back. These the clowns you really want working on your bike? I'm comfortable in assuming they don't give a shit about you once you're all paid up and out of that shop. read more

I would never take my bikes here again. I Called to set up an appointment which they said it was 3 weeks out. Check: made it and brought my my v-star over. I went back to the shop 2 weeks later and desk receptionist said it usually take 3 weeks to get the bike seen by the mechanic. Okay! I Called a few weeks later to get a status update. Person on the other line said they would get the head mechanic to call me back. Never heard back from the shop. Thanks. 3 months later from when I dropped off my ride. I come to see what work they've done to my baby. What a surprise, they haven't even seen my ride at all. My ride been sitting outside in the elements (rain and burning sun). I just told them, I was going to take it home and get another shop to look at it. No apology or care in the world to keep my business. Wow. I guess they don't care about Costumer service. I hope the owner reads this review and gets their employee to actually do something ie. to work on peoples rides to said they'll work on. read more

These guys saved my vacation. I was on a five day Moto adventure when my Moto Guzzi started acting up in Victorville. I limped in to Las Vegas late on a Sunday afternoon knowing the local Moto Guzzi dealer would not be open for service again until Tuesday. This would effectively ruin my trip cause I would spend at least 2 and a half of my five days in Vegas. I called this shop and was impressed with their courtesy, telling me to get it there first thing in the morning and they would get me back on the road right away. This is exactly what they did. Steve had it on a lift within five minutes and a little over an hour later I was back on the road. The bill was nominal. Very impressive! I have done a lot of motorcycle traveling all throughout the US and I have never encountered a more helpful shop. These guys are great! read more

Brought in a 2008 Ducati for some electrical issues and an oil change. The guys at MSM were very upfront about the cost and potential fix for the bike. They had the bike fixed and running again in less than 4 days and the price was half what they originally quoted me. They have earned my business for all 3 of my bikes. read more

Forget this place!!! Don't waste your time and money. I had dumped my bike due to some antifreeze puddle in the road anyway I just needed some cosmetic bolt on stuff put on that my insurance paid for. I could have easily done it myself but since insurance was paying for labor I first tried to take it to Harley but they were booked up so I decided to take it to a local shop . Big mistake. Main Street Moto is a joke first of all it took a month for few bolt ons. They killed my battery because they didn't realize that my bike is computer controlled and you have to put it on a tender if it's not being started in a while. They offered to sell me a new one!! Then I go to pick up my bike my bill is inflated from what they originally told because they put on a part that didn't match so I was responsible for the extra labor. Then I found out my neutral safety switch was not engaging on my clutch lever was not working due to the anti rattle tab being broken so I took it back to have it fixed and I picked it up two months after I found out how they fixed it they shoved a piece of plastic between my clutch perch and the lever instead of ordering the 4 dollar anti rattle tab from Harley and fixing it the right way . The piece of plastic jammed on me while I was on the freeway not allowing me to down shift I pulled over and pulled the plastic out in shock now the clutch lever rattles like crazy now. And ever since then every thing they put on I've had reinstall due to not using lock tite HELLO it's a Harley, everything vibrates !! Any Harley-Davidson mechanic should have this in their toolbox the only thing I didn't have to reinstall was the derby cover . After shoddy work and an inflated bill I'll never step foot in this place again. read more

This shop is fantastic! I have dealt with a lot of shops, I have owned 6 bikes. I moved to LV and thought who the heck am I going to trust with my bike?? Saw good reviews for this shop and they did not disappoint! Tommy is one of the nicest, genuine guys I have ever met and his customer service skills are off the hook. Steve who used to race gsxrs worked on my 06 gsxr 600. My bike unfortunately blew my stator, rectifier, and proceeded to fry my ECU and all my lights/electronics. Took it to MSM and they not only got me back on the road but at very fair prices and kept me informed the whole way through. I cant express my gratitude and recommendation enough. The coolest part was that they have every kind of bike in the shop. High end Harleys to home built bobbers and everything in between. Rockets, choppers, bobbers, dirt bikes, Ducati the list goes on. If I could give negative stars, I would. My husband brought his bike there for the oil pump, the battery was brand new, they charged 2k for new oil pump and they told him he needed a new battery because the one he had was busted (even though it was brand new). 2k later, FIRST RIDE AFTER, engine blew up, HUGE hole in bottom of crank case. They replaced the oil pump, and no oil got to engine and it blew up, YET THEY WOULD TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY. After my husband brought it back, they tried to make a deal where he would STILL have to pay ANOTHER 2k and they would fix it. THANK GOD for Grumpy's Garage coming though and helping us out with this whole ordeal or his bike would still be down. Karma will take care of them. I am just thankful my husband didn't DIE. I agreed and they fixed the bike only to call me days later and tell me there was another issue. I agreed to the fix and the extra expense. We have 2 Vespa GTS 300's and a 150. I wouldn't take my Vespas anywhere else in Las Vegas for service. One of the 300's has the Malossi Racing Cylinder Kit and both the 300's have akrapovic exhausts. I'm not going to let anyone but Main Street Moto work on these high end machines. I have over 18K miles on the 300 with the Malossi Racing Cylinder Kit and it runs amazing.
