They had my bike for months and when I finally just said I'm picking it up without the repairs, I picked up my bike in pieces, and did not even get all of my bike back. If yall have high end bikes do not go to them for a tire change. I wouldn't trust them with an expensive bike or something you love and hold dear to your heart... I've never had my tires changed and had oem tires out the factory and you could tell like it takes one search to figure it out... Anyways they scratched the hell out of my rims and then said that it wasn't them and had an answer to everything I was trying to tell them. Ultimately they tried saying that they would paint my rims with a paint marker.... P a i n t m a r k e r... to fix the issue or that I could pay out of my pocket to get it powder coated for a mistake they had made? Told me that they would pay a certain amount but still charge me 250 something crazy... anyways ya nah go else where. read more

These guys are awesome. The guys that work there are super chill. The shop has a very relaxed vibe to it. They work hard and they work well. I road in from Los Angeles to pick up an exhaust from Cycle Gear that I ordered. My plan was to call a Lyft and have them shuttle the exhaust to a different mechanic down the street. When I mentioned this to the store employee at Cycle Gear, he told me that there's a mechanic right next door who could knock it out. He even walked me over there and introduced me to the guys. They not only agreed to install the exhaust that day, but within two hours from drop off, they were done. (Got the call as I was writing this review). DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! This place was overall a terrible experience, I dropped my bike off for a job that was estimated to be a month max. 5 months later I found myself constantly having to call for an update only to be told excuse after excuse. On top of them not doing literally any of the work I asked them to complete, they welded tabs on the bike ( terribly ) when i never asked them to do that. AND they lost 2 parts of the bike. (My sprocket cover and my air cleaner) after telling them about it in person they told me they couldn't find it and I told them id go home and take another look for myself. ( I have pictures of the bike as i dropped it off and both items were with the bike) After I checked again to make sure I didn't have it I called back and justin told me he had a bunch of customers in front of him and then hung up as I was trying to explain that the parts were still missing. This was an absolutely terrible experience with this shop and wasted months of my time and money. And yes even though they completed practically nothing, they still charged me 250 dollars for cleaning my carb ( also not something i asked them to do... which at that point in time i just wanted my bike back and this was also before I realized that parts were missing as I got home. Took my son's 2008 Kawasaki 100 (2 Stroke) dirt bike to see if Moto Monkeyz could fix the throttle and Brakes, since the other 2 shops I took it to, said they were either backed up or didn't work on old bikes. He (I forgot his name) took my sons bike (same day I brought it for him to check it out ) and was able to fix the throttle in 2 days. Since the brakes were not in stock we told him it was ok. Brought in my 2017 Yamaha FZ-07 for a tire change/balance and brake fluid flush. They are consistent with quotes as I got one about 3 months ago and actually said it'd be cheaper than what I had originally been told. Took my bike in at opening on a Friday and got the call everything was done about 2 hours later! No appointment needed. The good reviews they have must be from close friends or family. Not sure how their work is, my bike sat in their shop nearly a month without being touched which did not upset me, it was the lack of communication and them being bothered by my concern. Reading some of these reviews I'm just glad to have got my bike back in one piece. I do not recommend this place to anyone very unprofessional and messy. This is my first, only, and hopefully last review because I'm not one to go out of my way to to shed negative light on anyone, but this was just unacceptable. Fast and Friendly service. Exceptional work. If you need it fixed, this is the place! When I needed a rear tire, I decided to try them out. They are newly opened under their own place and with Justin, the place is absolutely fantastic. I messaged them about my rear tire having not only a plug in it, but a huge bulge from the heat. They said they could fix the plug. I brought it in and it needed a replacement. Believe it or not, they had a used tire that they just gave me for free. Took off my rim, put the tire on, balanced it, and we put new rear brake pads on. They inspected my bike, gave me pointers and tips, and let me watch them do the work. Any question I had, these guys answered it and were genuinely helpful and kind. Watching them work on my bike and the other bikes in the shop, I could tell that they really pay attention to detail and do quality work. They arent just rushing bikes in and out. They put the same care and effort into a Ninja 250 as the supersport bikes that were in the shop. I find this very important, as some of my friends ride smaller bikes as well as full race bikes, and Moto Monkeyz makes every customer feel valued, no matter what bike they are riding. I have seen Justin Drive out to a bunch of my friends, as well as give me a tow once just to be cool. I recommend all of my friends to Moto Monkeyz If you need work done on your bike and you need it done fast, reliably, and for an honest price, Moto Monkeyz is your place to go. These guys are so rad. I was on a epic ride doing the Utah BDR. My buddy and I both had major breakdowns with our bikes and we thought we would have to end the ride. But we decided to YOLO and go to Vegas and buy new bikes and try to get back on the trail and meet up with the rest of our crew. But the only problem is we couldn't find a shop to help us mount knobby tires, etc. We called Moto Monkeyz and explained our situation and these guys cleared out what they were working on and rallied to get our bikes all setup. It was so amazing. After about an hour we had the new bikes loaded in the truck and after a round of high fives we were on our way. Even tho this shop may look a little shabby, I can tell you these guys all have hearts of gold and will go the extra mile to hook you up. read more

It's amazing that there's five star ratings, for this company, when I read reviews a week ago, stating how they hold your bike for ransom for extra fees and charges. Which is exactly what they did to me. Not only did they cause damage to my bike, it took them three weeks three months to fix a fuel leak and change two tires. And the excuse was that they were so short staffed. And so busy. But when I drove from out of state twice to come pick my bike up, they canceled it because they wanted to send their one technician home early. What a joke. Not only are they not professional, they have no people skills, treat the customers with complete disrespect, deny, work or mess ups that they did, and then hold your back ransom for longer and want you to pay extra fees. I had to give them $200 extra, after already paying them $1000 for two tires . I lost the entire riding season September through December, and was disrespected in ways that is just pathetic. Beware of bringing any business to them. Do you homework, which I didn't, because I was in a hurry, and that's what I got stuck with, punks, uneducated liars, who create post about their own business, because no one else in the right mind would say the things that they say on yelp!! read more

This "business" is hands down the worst shop I've ever dealt with I begrudgingly paid a cost of over $1200 just to get my bike back. Which he had kept almost 2 years. The job was not complete. He returned it with the incorrect battery. The original he probably kept because it was a lithium ion worth $200. I wouldn't trust this guy to change oil. I got my bike back in pieces missing hardware with cracked fairings. Took said bike to a certified technician and it was fixed in less than a week. Justin is a crook or he's just incompetent as a mechanic. He basically kept my bike from me for over a year. Roughly a year and 8 months and stole over 1200 from me holding my bike hostage for ransom. Biggest mistake I've ever made as a motorcycle owner was trusting this crooked business and terrible business owner. Justin hasn't returned my calls since I got my bike back from him. I'm going to assume it's because he is aware of how terrible I was treated as an understanding and paying customer. read more
