They had the tires I needed for my R1250RS in stock, sold them at a competitive price which included mounting on the bike, accomplished the tire replacements without any issues, and I was back on the road. The staff was friendly, professional, and knew their products. My only suggestion is to replace the couch in the waiting room and maybe add a few chairs. In 7000 miles I will return. read more

Been here multiple times. They answered all my questions. Anything about my quad. Atv and motorcycle. Of they don't have it or can't answer it. They actually called someone for me. They even redirected me to a competitor who knew more about what I needed. Now that is a true shop that will tell you straight up if they know it or not. If they have it or not. And where to get it. When it comes to price don't forget alot of shops are backed up now. But still got tings done in a timely manner. There was a few times where they price matched me but don't quote me on that. Been going there for years. Had some problems with my rear wheel which they fixed. The tube they installed went bad. They replaced it. These guys stand behind their work! My only problem is they use ugly steel balance weights. No silver powdered coated weights to match my silver painted wheels. They need to upgrade their service/options. MTC has been around forever - it is really a piece of Las Vegas motorcycle history! I spoke to the guys while I was having my Harley tires mounted and tehy discussed the history of the shop going back to 1970! They have a couple of the old original tire machines in the store and the original business license from the 70s! Pretty cool. SERVICE: the important part - these guys know their thing and know MC tires. For us Harley guys, there is no way in Hel that we want to pay dealer prices! I bought tires online at Cycle Gear but CG could not mount them using their machine! MTC got it done in 30 minutes and priced right and they will beat prices by $10 on tires. Excellent service, excellent staff. Yeah, they are higher priced than Amazon or a few other places in town. However, what sets them apart is the service. They guys behind the counter go way above and beyond if I have a question I cant figure out. I do a lot of work on my bikes and every once in awhile, I get a question about something where I have to Macguyver something thats way outside of OEM. These guys always help. I live on Charleston. I frequently see them outside helping customers figure out what they need. These dudes are always open too. If you need a part or advice and you need it now, this place is the spot. I bought a Triumph Thunderbird Storm locally from EuroCycle, they were great during the sale process, but the bike was 5-years old when I purchased it and here I am 6-years later trying to buy tires and they tell me they won't touch a motorcycle that is 10-years old! Really? I purchased from you. Doesn't matter, we don't touch bikes that old! That old? I needs tires, that's all. Sorry sir, you'll have to take it somewhere else! Can you recommend someplace? No. Some customer service! I call around very dishearten and find this gem! Very professional, very courteous! Tells me what they have in stock. Yes, of course we will install both front and rear! Your rear tire is very wide, nothing in stock, but NY has 9 and we can have it here by Monday (arrived early Friday)! No appointments, 1st come, 1st served. Arrived early Monday, 1-person ahead of me. Soon enough they were working on mine. Need rear brakes, we have both standard and performance in stock. Performance, please. Front brakes are great! Perfect! Great experience! Both new tires and rear brakes! Tires plus install EXACTLY price as quoted, and brakes were inexpensive - even for upgraded performance! Pricing was very reasonable! This shop has been around a long time. It's got a retro/cool vibe to the shop in an older part of Las Vegas. I needed a tire inspection and ultimately was told my rear tire needed to be replaced. First off, these guys have always been honest with me and that is the most important quality in a tire shop (or mechanic shop). The prices are not the best but are reasonable. Support your local businesses!! I was seen right away and rode my bike to the back to have the rear tire replaced. The only thing I was not happy about is that I have an aftermarket stereo and speakers in my Harley saddlebags. There's a quick wire connect/disconnect for some of the speaker wires. They had me disconnect those (understandable) and take off the saddle bags, then I had to put the saddlebags somewhere in their shop on my own. I don't know if that's store policy or what, but kind of felt like I was a mechanic for a little bit. I wish they would have been a little more helpful than that and taken the saddle bags from me so I'm not toting them around. After my bike was done. I had to go grab the saddlebags and connect the wires and put them back on by myself. I would of appreciated a little help with this endeavor (holding it in place while I tighten everything up, etc.). All in all, I would definitely bring my bike back. The prices are reasonable and the staff is pleasant. read more

Excellent service and replacement/repair. My '17 Indian RM required a rear tire immediately. I hadn't noticed an area on the tire where a person could almost see the core/thread/radial band. Very dangerous. At last minute this store took care of me without question. I rode approximately 10 miles to the store and it was the scariest and most reserved riding I thought ever imaginable. So I needed to change the rear tire for a 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000 as it was in somewhat bad shape, the back tire will not hold psi.. there must be a small leak as I filled it up to 40psi and next day is 6.5psi. Since I recently purchased the motorcycle used I decided to change the chain as well. I've got my own parts (new tire and OEM drive chain kit) and just needed labor. I've called a few places around and some don't even offer this service because they want you to order the parts via them. There was one other place that would do it but they want an arm and a leg. I checked with MTC and got an excellent price quote for the rear tire and chain kit. This place is first come first served so you just showed up. Dropped off the parts then went back to get the bike. They were able to work on it right away and the whole process took less than 2 hours. Very friendly staff. They have a pool table, foosball, tons of magazines and TV so you're not going to get bored while waiting. Highly recommended this place, I will be taking all my future services to them from now on. My experience has been with Melvin & Sal. Need new trail-rated rubber on my 2014 fz09. Told them the tires I wanted for the bike and Melvin replied with an immediate NOPE. I was confused for a second. (Apparently they weren't speed rated for the bike), but I tried to persuade them to mount anyways. Would. Not. Budge. Same day another dude tried coming in and mounting another tire to his bike ( also unsafe) and same thing, they got turned away.. My solution... I overnighted the proper tires, they took receipt, I showed up next day (got luck when they weren't busy) and they mounted & balanced my new rubber within an hour (I just hung around and talked shop at their place) fastest service ever. These guys are truly professionals of their trade and have a quality service standard. I came through on a road trip and needed other things for my bike (skid plate for example) and they offered contacts.... These guys were even receptive to shipping my old rubber (400$ tires with few miles) back to CA for me. These guys are awesome, and they're priced overly fair. They'll work hard up do everything they can to get you back on the road safely. Couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

Called in to get a new tire for my 07 Vt750c2, as I popped a flat a few weeks prior. Can't remember the name the the man I spoke to, but he was knowledgeable and able to tell me about which tires they had in stock for my bike. Settled on a tire and said I'd bring in the wheel the next day to get the tire replaced. Next day brought in my wheel (removed from bike) and from the time I hit the front door to replacement was approx. 15-20minutes. They did a good job, and were very affordable. read more

Very disappointed. Went in for a carb sync and they ended up breaking a bolt connecting my Throttle cable to my carb. Then tried to hide it with Zip Ties and JB Weld but I discovered it two days later while doing work myself. Also they disconnected some wires and then I had to find the disconnections myself to make my gauge work properly. I've used them several times and will never trust them again with anything. You get what you pay for I Guess. read more

I've been coming to this shop since 2010 for all the routine maintenance and repairs on my SV650. They always have the right parts in stock, they do good work, and they are extremely honest. They're also not usually busy on weekdays, so you just can drop by and they get started right away. I should mention I am female and not mechanically minded, which is a recipe for getting fleeced by most mechanics... but not here. They don't "upsell" me on parts or services I don't need. If they see an issue, they always say something like "keep an eye on this, bring it in if xyz symptom develops." I came in today because my brakes have been feeling really weak and spongy. They said the pads are just "glazed," everything else is in perfect working order, and the brakes will be good as new once they scuff the pads up. Saved me $150 on new brakes that I thought I needed! read more

MTC may not always have the absolute best prices, but they do have the best tech's and service. My last set of tires was purchased at a Yamaha dealer because they had a great sale price on PR4's. I had serious wheel balance issues that took two additional trips and 3 hours of waiting to resolve. Prior to that, I've always had MTC install my tires and NEVER had any issues. I feel like a schmuck for trying save a few $ and going elsewhere - in the end it cost me time and money. When these PR4's are worn out, I'll be back to MTC for another set. Love MTC (also really, really like the PR4's on my FJR). read more
