As with any service company, you take a risk in doing business with the, but research is important. When I called, I spoke with Shawn in the office who professionally scheduled a service call at a time that was convenient for me. Zach came out and was able to diagnose that the blower motor was bad and would need to be replaced. The next day I spoke with Dave to find out they had a lead time of around 14 weeks for that motor. Dave could have just stopped with that news, but instead he offered to send Zach back out to pull the blower motor, so he could attempt to repair it to get us going before the cold came. Long story short Dave was able to make a repair to our ECM motor, so Zach returned and got our heat working. A great deal could have gone better with this situation, but not much of that was in the control of Dave' Services. They offered a professional service and went above and beyond to help take care of a "new" customer. You see I have never used an HVAC company, as traditionally I would perform most work like this myself. I have been in the service industry for more than 30 years and have most of the skillsets needed to make repairs, but in this situation, I did not have the time nor the specific industry knowledge. I sincerely appreciate the extra effort it took to get heat for my family this winter season, and you can be certain when I do replace the unit it will be done by Dave's Services. Jim did a phenomenal job in explaining what my options are to replace my system, including fixing some of the concerns we have with poor airflow throughout our home. My advice for anyone researching and reading business reviews, take time to read between the lines, the truth is always somewhere in the middle. Dave's Services is a great value, and they have professional and caring team members looking only to help customers now and in the future. Thank you for taking care of my family's needs this winter.

The job was to replace a broken pipe between the well and the house. It involved cutting up the concrete patio. They also replaced the little galvanized plumbing we had left and put in a new pressure tank. What I particularly liked about Five Star was the quality of work and that fact that they had a person, Jacob, that followed up and made sure that work progressed and was done to my satisfaction. I view that as a good quality control. I also liked the fact that they were the lowest cost by far. Would recommend that to any friends.

I wouldn't even give it one star! Edington heating & cooling just ripped us off for about $435…read moreright before Christmas. They charged us for THREE service calls because their guy didn't fix it right the first time. I even tipped him cash the 1st visit! We had to wait all weekend for them to come back to try again (losing the whole weekend of working on the house). 2nd visit, 30 min of it was spent there waiting for his office to call back with a part price (he gave up and asked if they could let us know...) but guess who paid for that 30 minutes? Yep, me. 3rd visit to install the part he should have put in day one. NEVER AGAIN Edington. If you continue to rip people off like this you will have no customers. Zero chance we'd call you in the future. When we replace our whole system next year ZERO chance we'd buy it from you. Zero chance I won't leave this info everywhere I can so I can save even one other person from getting treated like this. Unreal. Merry Christmas.

It's still under warranty, he ordered the parts and charged me for them, saying I would be reimbursed from the company after the install. It has cost me $2,600 at this point, and it's still not fixed as of 8/18, and I haven't heard from them in a week. They've been routinely unreliable, setting up dates to come out for install and then not showing up or communicating. Do not use them if you have any other option.
