It's hard enough knowing you have to have a root canal so going to someone you trust is so important. Dr. Cho's bedside manners immediately put me at ease from his down-to-earth way of interacting with me while clearly being very knowledgable about the complexities of performing root canals. For me, this is the perfect balance I always hope to find in a provider - personable and professional, but sometimes easier said than done to find that perfect fit. During the root canal procedure, I was much calmer than I had expected. After ensuring I was fully anesthetized, he talked through every step of the procedure. His assistant, Cecelia, was fantastic too, and they are a great team as she is on standby for him during the entire procedure. (I didn't mention the movie though) As per the instructions on their website I popped a couple of Advils prior to the visit. There was a very tiny pinch when local anesthesia was administered. I could barely feel it. Listened to some calming music during the procedure which made it really comfortable. Dr. Chang knows her stuff. She and her staff are beyond amazing. If I could give them a billion stars instead of 5 I would. Don't think twice about going here and be nice to them!

While I'm no longer in the field, I do have firsthand knowledge of dental practices and procedures--and I genuinely loved the work I did. Dr. Kim is truly exceptional. Having worked with many dentists, I can confidently say I have never seen the level of care, knowledge, patience, and compassion that Dr. Kim consistently provides to his patients. I found Dr. Kim while searching for a dentist for my elderly stepfather, who needed extensive dental work after decades of neglect. In his 70s, he hadn't seen a dentist in over 40 years and required full extractions in preparation for dentures. To complicate matters, he had recently suffered a heart attack, is on medications that make dental procedures more complex, and is not in the best overall health. From the very beginning, Dr. Kim took the time to truly understand my stepfather's situation--not just dentally, but medically as well. He approached his care with a thoughtful, conservative, and team-oriented mindset, which is not something you find with every dentist. Trust me when I say that. Although this has been a long and ongoing process, Dr. Kim continues to go above and beyond in ways that are far from typical. He personally follows up after hours, prioritizes continuity of care, and takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures to both patients and caregivers. He is always accessible for questions via calls, emails, or other communication, and he makes every patient feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kim. His level of dedication, communication, and willingness to take on complex cases is rare and deserves recognition. Had I known about him earlier, I may have stayed in the dental field because providers like him make such a meaningful difference. His office staff is equally wonderful--friendly, professional, and supportive--and the office itself is always clean, bright, and up to date. I only got to see Dr. Konrad a handful of times before he retired but I can say that he was a…read morecompletely unremarkable dentist in the best possible way. I never had any remarks to make about him because he did everything anyone ever expects a dentist to do. He listened to your problem, took a look around, proposed a solution or two and told you how much each one was going to cost. If something he did didn't work out, he'd have you back to correct the problem. All very normal and fine and not something you run around talking about for any reason. Shortly after his farewell I had an old crown pop off while flossing. Not the end of the world but not something you want to leave for too long either so I set up an appointment with the new guy because I didn't feel like hunting around town for a new patient appointment. The crown was damaged but I didn't have $3K to blow on a new one so the new guy said he could re-cement the old one in and see how much longer it would last for $350, I said fine and we did just that. He seemed very ill-at-ease and awkward throughout the visit--like he really wanted to be anywhere else--but it was all over and done with soon enough. As with most crown placements, what feels okay in the chair after you've had your jaw wedged open for 20 minutes doesn't always feel okay once you go home and start actually chewing on it so some minor adjustments were necessary. I've never had any dentist in any town charge me for follow up adjustments immediately after they'd just glued the thing in, but new guy wanted another $150 for his five minutes after the grinding had been done. I wasn't in the mood to argue about it so I just paid and left but it's really been bugging me ever since. Especially considering the stoic, unconcerned attitude I had to push through just to get him to do his damn job. I get that he didn't make the crown so he might not feel any pressing need to guarantee someone else's work but it still just felt punitive and gross and he very clearly didn't want anything to do with me so I have little choice but to reciprocate the sentiment. Trust fund kids and other little emperors may very well have an altogether different experience than I did.

I can not afford to have an implant done, so I now have a large gap in the front. Hopefully the teeth will start to move on their own to make the gap smaller. I do not recommend her.

Fortunately, on my own, I located a dentist who took a look and did an xray. He saw something in the X-ray and sent me to his friend, an endodontist. He immediately found the problem and did a root canal. I mention this because recently I had tooth pain and my dentist insisted I go back to Dr. Moore. we really got into a disagreement because I refused to obey her. I went back to the great endodontist I had last time. And now, my dentist is very irritated with me because I refused to take her advice so I've decided to seek a new dentist. I will never go to Dr. Moore again and cannot recommend her.

Throughout the entire dental appointment, Dr. Baldassari-Cruz demonstrated a truly personal and caring approach. She gave me several choices of which course of treatment should be completed. I came to this office early for my scheduled oral surgery, already feeling unsure and overwhelmed…read more I hadn't slept, had been experiencing panic attacks, and honestly wasn't sure I could go through with it that day. I let the front desk staff know this upfront, and initially, the response seemed understanding -- I was brought to a private room to wait and was told the doctor would come talk to me. While I was in that room -- crying and clearly distressed -- three different staff members entered the space, which apparently was also used as an access point for employees. It was uncomfortable and disorienting to be in such a vulnerable state while people just walked through without acknowledging me. (this is for Dr. Tran who works under this same office) When the doctor finally came in, the very first thing she said was, "We won't be able to take you anymore if you're going to cancel." No check-in. No "How are you feeling?" or "What's going on today?" She followed that by saying she only helps patients who are ready to help themselves and reminded me that she had blocked off three hours for the procedure. Not once did she ask why I was struggling or consider that I was in the middle of a panic attack. When I looked away from her, trying to hold it together, she demanded, "Look at me. Look me in the eyes," as if I were a misbehaving child, not a patient in distress. At that point, I knew I wasn't going to get any care -- emotionally or medically -- from her. I told her I wanted to leave. She initially told me I couldn't, which was deeply unsettling, but then let me go after I insisted. What happened next felt even more inappropriate: the doctor followed me outside and continued to engage. My ride -- who was also my support person -- was there and witnessed this interaction. The doctor told her she was dropping me as a patient. When I called out that she clearly had no mental health training, her response was, "I was in the military. I know PTSD." I'm still trying to make sense of that response -- it didn't reflect any empathy, only deflection. She ended the conversation by saying something to the effect of, "I guess I can't do anything right, then," which only came across as self-victimizing. Not once -- not at any point in this entire interaction -- did she ask why I was struggling or how I was feeling. It was one of the most invalidating and unprofessional medical interactions I've ever had. If you live with anxiety, trauma, or any mental health conditions, I would not recommend this office.

I went to a tmj specialist and they told me that family dental is wild for not giving you lidocaine for the pain. He responded with I don't care and if you don't trust us, why do you keep coming back. I will admit, I blew up on him over the phone but he deserved every bit of my bad mouthing.
