Tried to call and set up an appointment and was met with an AI that couldn't answer my questions, when I finally did get a live person they told me that they can't confirm whether or not they accept Delta insurance and that I would need to check with my insurance because it takes too much time for them to check insurance or work with insurance companies. never heard of a dentist who doesn't know whether or not they accept specific insurance providers. from the AI to lack of care; I'll find someone else. read more

Dr Moore is a very poor Dentist. He took all kinds of pictures of my teeth. This took several hours. Two weeks later, they called and said they did not have the "software" to work on my teeth. You have no idea how embarrassing that was for me.. I thought I could trust him , but I was totally wrong. I do not recommend this dentist at all. There are plenty of dentists that will treat you with dignity, and he is not one. People will find out about him because word travels fast. Don't waste your time or money. BTW if you are late they won't see you or it's a $50.00 fine. read more

I have been a patient for 7 years and I drive an hour to get there. It takes patience and planning to make sure I can schedule in advance and be early enough to be on time. The quality of work and care has been wonderful. Over time I have learned that there are different people working at the office at different times. Some are my favorite and I see them more often. I do understand the last few years have had changes that have happened to everyone, but overall this practice excelled and still really stands out. I have a lot of respect for the team, so I also work hard to make sure I maintain my dental care and show them how I have learned to take care of my teeth the best that I can between visits. At 65 years old, I've seen a few dentists in my time. Dr. Moore and his staff are best! Friendly, knowledgeable and ready to answer questions, they come about as close to making a visit to the dentist's office a fun experience as is possible. As far as the technical aspects go, I can only say that I had a small cavity below the gum line filled. The location of the cavity made it a bit of a challenge, but Dr. Moore and his assistant performed the procedure efficiently and I experienced NO PAIN! Can't ask for more than that! I had a bad experience here. First off, rather than talking with me, Dr. Moore sent my whole family a letter saying he would no longer treat us because my 20yr old daughter who is a full time college student, missed a scheduled appointment. I thought that this was messed up and a little harsh. However, it turns out that this was the best thing that happened to us. We now have a new family dentist that does such good work and until I went to them I did not know how sub-par Dr. Moore's work was. I have had a couple of cavities that were treated by Dr. Moore and at least one cavity came back because it was not all removed before the filling was inserted. read more

I don't have any issues with the care or treatment. The support staff is substandard. What I do take exception with is consistently over-billing and collecting more than is actually due at the time of visit and failure to resolve these deficiencies fairly after repeated incidents. As a patient you will not receive an accurate statement at the time of treatment which reflects the amount billed, contract rate and your current share. More money has been consistently collected than was actually due. This results in consistent over-payments. In some cases, if you have expensive work done, this can result in a large credit balance. You will not know if you have credit balance until maybe your next visit. You do not know your account status at any given time since they do not send out statements by mail or email or even provide a patient portal. On numerous occasions I have had to go to the office with documentation to support a refund. Staff becomes defensive and argumentative. I like Dr Moore; however, this reflects poorly on the practice and we will no longer go there. read more

I've been going to Dr Moore since we moved to Raleigh 5 years ago. In that time I've had cleanings every 6 months, fillings replaced, and new fillings done. Dr Moore's staff is fantastic! I'm so glad that I found this practice. The entire staff is friendly and professional. I had to have a deep cleaning for the first time in my life. They made sure that I was very comfortable for it . My husband had a problem with a filling and they were able to get him in the same day to fix it. I'd been saying that something was wrong with my daughter's bite to four dentists with no answer. My family have been seeing Dr. Moore and his staff for 8 years. We love him and the staff - they are so sweet and caring. They have been so accommodating with scheduling our family. They have a new way of filling cavities. Unfortunately, I had a small one, and I am a HUGE baby when it comes to pain. The dentist here is good, but they have very poor customer service. They will charge you $50 if you have to cancel even if you have significant extenuating circumstances. I had initially asked about this fee when I started going here and they told me that as long as you had good reasoning it should not be charged, but clearly that was a lie. Will not ever be using this dentist again! read more

This practice charges $100 to make an appointment. My daughter had an appointment and due to a problem was unable to have the work done. I had written a check in advance to cover the cost of over $1300 and mailed it to them. Even though the work wasn't perform the check was deposited. Poor business model. I'd give it one star but my daughter likes the dentist. read more
