Linda, who answers the phone, continually spoke over me when I asked her three times to listen to what I had to say about my tractor. Each time I began speaking, she refused to listen and continued to talk. When I realized I wasn't being heard, I finally hung up and contacted management. Lansdowne-Moody in Hockley has had my tractor for A MONTH and we have been VERY patient. We called several times only to be told it would be soon. Miraculously enough when I finally contacted management today, "it's ready to be delivered." I spoke with the manager and let him know the customer service was unaccepatable and a customer is to be heard, not spoken over as I was today. He said he agreed and would have my tractor delivered today. Communication at this location needs great improvement, as does their work ethic to return a customer's equipment to them in a timely manner.

I stopped by and requested service since it was still under warranty. The gal said someone would call me within a day or so. After a week of hearing nothing, I stopped in again. I received the same response and waiting again for another week. After no call back (again), I stopped in again for a third, fourth and fifth time. On the fifth visit, I actually spoke to one of the co-owners who said they would contact me the next day. I thought finally after talking with someone invested in the business things would move forward. Boy, I was wrong. Same thing, no follow up. It's been 5 or 6 weeks trying to get someone to step up and take care of a customer that DID purchase a $5k tractor from them. I guess once they make a large sale, they don't care to assist the buyer or hope for return business. Toro should really do a better job deciding on who they partner with.

Worst equipment rental business ever in my 24 years of construction renting history. This place has…read morea few newer equipment but they mostly have old broken down equipment which they mostly rent out. They have no after hour and weekend contact or phone number, not even an email. So when the junk rental they send you break out which 9 of 10 times it does, you have no way of getting a hold of anyone and you are just screwed. They known about this for years and does not care, this is the way they do business. At the time of rental they tell you that if the equipment breaks down they will come service it free of charge, but they don't. "It's not their problem" they said to old broken down equipment and down time that you couldn't use their equipment...just tough luck for you. They'll come pickup their trashy equipment on the schedule date regardless of your situations and to top it off....they charge you more then what they told you and invoice you to begin with; like delivery fee, etc. Plus they'll do everything in their power to never return your security deposit and if you're lucky you may get $80 of your $350 deposit back 2 months later. Yelp. Time for lawsuit and BBB action on this small business who is in the business to rip people off.

Even after she was interviewed and selected to their Counselor-in-Training program, this year she was removed from the training based on a year‑old accusation we were never told about, never shown documentation for, and never given a chance to discuss. She was confronted alone as a minor, her belongings were searched without her knowledge, and she was later told not to ever speak about the incident. Even after multiple attempts to discuss the incident with Camp leadership, including their Board members, I never received a response. The way this was handled has caused her significant emotional distress and destroyed her trust in the adults running the camp. I hope Blackwood reevaluates how it treats children under their care. I cannot recommend Blackwood Nature Camp. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions as a parent.

Later, the on-site farmer, Becca, took us on a tour and we learned about organic gardening and the balance between plants and soil. It's all about the soil :) Becca was on hand to explain her farming techniques and answer our questions. We were served a delicious lunch outdoors in the large covered patio.
