Cam was very personable and this is a great place to buy appliances (my daughter has bought a few from them and has not be disappointed). Fair prices (better than Lowe's or Home Depot for a better fridge), prompt delivery and install and haul off old one - and at a very reasonable rate. What needs improvement: The delivery men mentioned that they were NOT given the correct tools to finish the job of leveling out the panels on the fridge or what was needed for installation of the fridge upon delivery, because they "switched delivery trucks on them". Unfortoley, that leaves us the customer, waiting for them to come back and finish the job they were paid for. It's been a week, and we are still waiting for them to come back and level out the panels on the fridge. This is either the delivery men's lack of preparation before delivery or the owners' lack of structure to ensure delivery has what they need for all to go as needed.

The "tech" arrives, and after only a few minutes, claims that the problem is the outlet on the wall and not the washer. He charges us the $70 assessment fee and leaves just like that. We're skeptical and check the outlet ourselves only to find they're working just fine. The technician left far too quickly (why didn't he confirm this himself? It just felt like an easy pay day for them rather than wanting to help), so I had to call up 290 to let them know the tech charged us for a completely incorrect assessment. They pass me over to the tech and he lets me know he'll come by Monday. Monday arrives and we don't hear back. I call 290 Appliance to confirm the appointment and whoever answered the phone informed me they would charge us AGAIN for the tech to come over. At this point, I decided to stop dealing with this company and called a different repair service that quickly diagnosed the problem within the washer (a connection in the door was loose) and fixed it within half an hour. When I let the gentleman know (I'm assuming the owner, but I really don't know who was answering the phone) that they charged us for exceptionally poor "service", he offered a $30 or $35 refund via check. Save yourself from being cheated out of money and avoid this place.

My only complaint I have here is my little brother works here and around black friday I asked him where the computer speakers are and that linga ding pointed me to the wrong area! I asked another associate if he could just point me in the "general" direction to where they were and not only did he point me in the right direction he took me 3/4 ways there for assurance. I am shocked at the lack of customer service once we received our appliances. During installation, significant damage was done while installing vent hood and refrigerator. Let's be clear, Nor-West hired the installers to deliver and properly install appliances. Neither want to take responsibility for damage caused. In addition to full Dacor kitchen appliance package, we also purchased Fisher and Paykel dishwasher. This was purchased at a later date than other appliances and on a separate invoice (which we NEVER received at time of purchase). This dishwasher stopped working two weeks after installation and without invoice, you are not able to register appliance with Fisher and Paykel to fix under warranty. Fisher and Paykel was able to send someone to repair, but Nor-West received the appliance two years ago, so they definitely need invoice to prove our purchase date and cover under warranty. When we called to get invoice emailed, we got excuses like "our internet is out" "we sent it to your contractor multiple times". After explaining that indeed, they had not emailed the 2nd invoice, and having to get this message to man screaming at me, we finally received invoice and now may be able to get our BRAND-NEW appliance repaired (full replacement of main controller is needed). I also was lucky enough to get lecture from Nor-West about how electronics and appliance work and how sometimes they break (after using TWO WEEKS?!?!?!). Yeah, thanks. Something as simple as "Wow, that should not happen. Please let us know if you need anything additional information from us to assist in getting repairs with manufacturer", would have been a thousand times better than getting screamed at by terrible man who works there. We did not even mention that dishwasher has small dent in front or Fisher and Paykel noted installation error of main hose (yes, you guessed it, by installers engaged by Nor-West). Shame on me for not taking their reviews seriously. The lack of accountability and endless excuses are truly shocking. Just look at EVERY response to their poor reviews. Here is a tip: maybe take a little more time to focus on customer satisfaction instead of responding with a novel of excuses to almost every review.
