I arrived at 7:55 a.m. as the first customer for four new tires and an oil change and wasn't checked out until 10:23 a.m. I had just gotten off work at 7 a.m. and had mentioned this when scheduling and again when I arrived. I kept two of my old tires because they still had plenty of tread. Despite that, I was charged disposal fees for all four tires, and getting the incorrect charges refunded became an unnecessary hassle. But here's the part that really matters: I bought TWO brand-new ratchet straps and specifically asked Burt Brothers employees to secure the two tires I was keeping to the roof of my SUV. They used ONE strap to secure BOTH tires. After leaving the store, ONE OF THE TIRES FLEW OFF MY SUV AND INTO THE ROADWAY while I was driving. Thank God it didn't hit another vehicle or cause an accident. I was able to pull over and retrieve it, but a full-size tire flying into traffic could have caused a serious accident or injury. I immediately called the store and told Joe I needed to speak with a manager because a tire they had secured had just flown off my moving vehicle. I was told the manager was busy and couldn't be interrupted. I eventually spoke with manager Greg. While he apologized and said he'd speak with the employee, I felt he spent too much of the conversation shifting responsibility toward me rather than acknowledging the seriousness of what had happened. I specifically asked THEIR employees to secure the tires, provided TWO brand-new straps, and trusted that a professional tire shop would know how to safely secure them. Had I known otherwise, I would have done it myself. I spent nearly $700 and left dealing with an incorrect charge, poor customer service and, most importantly, a potentially dangerous safety failure. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business responds when they do. When a customer calls to report that a tire your employee secured just flew off a moving vehicle, that should be treated as an urgent safety concern--not an inconvenience. I'm extremely thankful nobody was hurt. I won't be returning to this location.

I feel so lucky they were there and helped me quickly and affordably. Bradley was able to remove the small nail and patch the tire ... incredible ... and Rafa was all over letting me know the status and providing an easy experience for payment at check-out (I waited next door at the new coffee place called Urban Sailor - so convenient for working while waiting). Mercer has all sorts of hit and miss reviews here on Yelp, but I think management has completely turned over and had a 10+ experience today. I hope this place continues to give great service and recommend it now.

We drove from Provo to SLC for a graduation and on our way back at around 9000 S. the electrical started going out again and we pulled over at a Maverick. We were told after making a call to a shop that its probably the alternator considering the battery change didnt fix the issue. They also told us that they werent available to take it until the next week which wasnt an option for us because we had to get back for work. I went on Yelp and Best Buds Mobile service popped up with 5 star reviews so I called. The gentleman that answered was genuine as explained that we thought it was the alternator. He gave me a quote that was within what I was willing to pay. I asked him if he had a number to a tow place so I can get it towed to them. He said "its ok we come to you". I was surprised but then "duh" it says "mobile" in their name. He also told me it would probably be about and hour and a half for them to repair. WHAT! It really did seem too good to be true. The shop we had previously called quoted us double what these guys quoted. They literally showed up within 30 min they arrived at that Maverick parking lot and probably less than the time frame he told me it would take them to fix it we were on our way back to Provo and now we are home and our car is running perfectly! These guys are a gem! I Googled the cost to replace the alternator and they were within the range. So Im going to say they are honest. I wish they were in in Vegas. But now we know if there are any car repair needs for us when in Utah or our family we will be reffering Best Buds Mobile Services. They even checked the cabin air filter because he told me that a rodent had built a nest in it. They found things that other shops had missed. Is there such a thing as being too thorough? Jessy might be! But I'd rather have my auto shop be extremely thorough and triple check everything rather than be sloppy and miss things. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality is obvious, right down to how they require appointments for their shop. They want to make sure that every single car gets the attention it needs.
