They came by and looked and told us it was a bigger problem they could not fix and would send us a quote. The quote included several pieces of equipment that were priced 2-5x retail. FSTG-DREAM-PRO 10G Cloud Gateway with 100+ UniFi device / 1,000+ client support and 3.5 Gbps IPS routing. was quoted as $999.99 when it retails for $379 FSTG 10Gbps SFP+ Direct Attach Cable (1meter) was quoted at $29.99 when it retails for $15 OvrC Pro Lifetime License + Hub, non-locking barrel connector power connection type was quoted as $999.99 when it retails for to $199 *note this is only available to authorized AV dealers but a 5x mark up is insane I asked why and was told it was small business markup and was told quote "It includes sourcing, shipping, platform fees, payment processing fees and more that our clients may not originally consider. The raised price also covers our regular remote network maintenance, ensuring your network continuously runs at peak performance following the conclusion of the project. A large portion of business model is our post-install support and efforts to create peace of mind for our clientele regarding our systems." However on that quote was also a $70/mo service plan that was supposed to cover the aforementioned post-install support. I asked about the double charge for support and asked if I could bring my own equipment and they ignored my email So this company is SUPER SHADY and please review your quotes and google any equipment that they tell you that you need because 1. you probably don't need it (we ended up fixing the internet ourselves) and 2. they are probably overcharging you. Just run the quote through Claude or ChatGPT and ask if there's anything concerning in it. It will do all the research for you.

While every other local computer store opened at 11:00 a.m. or later, Scott answered the phone at 8:00 a.m. and immediately helped. Seeing my computer sitting on a shelf after that spill would have been devastating. Scott understood the urgency, worked to rectify the problem, and gave me back peace of mind when I truly needed it. 24/7, rain or shine, Scott is dependable, skilled, responsive, and kind. A 100 out of 10. There is no other choice. Computer expert, computer friendly. The very best service ever. Thank you, Scott!

When we got the new power cord and it didn't work either, we quickly realized we needed help getting the files off the hard drive of the dead laptop. We hadn't had a chance to backup the files before it died. We put out a project request on Yelp and started looking for companies that could help us We found Fastball Computers and Scott Nelson. Scott responded to our phone call and project request and was able to see us the next day at his shop. We took our laptop and got to watch Scott take out the hard drive and connect it to his computer and then transfer our files to our external hard drive. Scott knows his stuff and explains things so you understand what he is doing. His price was incredibly reasonable for the work he did. We have new laptop for my wife and all her files and pictures and are able to move forward. If you need data recovery services or other computer services, don't hesitate to call Scott. It's nice to have a company near us when we need it.

Xfinity kept telling me the "new" box was going to easily pump wifi through my whole house. It never worked and we had multiple dead spots in our house, where wifi never reached. We ended up trying several things, included a second network setup using Google Nest routers. That also didn't work great and we suffered for years. So finally got fed up, and I called BATH and told Ari what the issue was. He gave me a budget, which I bristled at, at first. Then he walked me through a likely fix, which involved a couple routers networked so that I had independent wifi running on both floors of the house but on the same network. The tech came by and was super nice, and walked me through what they were going to do. I was cautiously optimistic. When they were done? I almost cried at how well everything ran through my house. They even set me up so I had ethernet directly to my gaming PC, and direct into my TV and Xbox. I have not had a single issue since (beside Comcast caused outages), and have blazing fast wifi throughout the house (I pay for the gigaspeed Xfinity). I'm finally utilizing the speed as sold to me by Xfinity. Thanks so much BATH. I really appreciate it. I was super impressed with the emails, the invoices, techs being on time, and just the overall professionalism. It was worth the extra few bucks.

Since they seem to handle a lot of corporate-scale installations, I initially wondered if my project might be too small--but that concern disappeared pretty quickly. The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Huge thanks to Justin and John for their precision and quality of work, and to Jim and Rodrigo for their thoughtful recommendations on equipment and access point placement. If you're looking for a team that combines technical expertise with professionalism and genuine care, I'd absolutely recommend them.

He responded quickly, showed up on time (early actually), and was extremely knowledgeable. Once he arrived, I explained that I had been going back and forth for months between upgrading to a soundbar with a sub or investing in a full audio system (receiver, towers, sub, etc...). We spent well over 30 minutes talking through the pros and cons of each, along with important things to consider like the size of the house and living room. Ultimately, I decided that I will be upgrading our current soundbar to a newer and nicer one in the near future. He was extremely polite and patient, taking the time to explain terminology and concepts in a way I could easily understand as we installed and set things up (picture and display settings, 1080p vs. 4K capabilities, audio/video/HDMI cables and what they do, device "switches," and how everything works together) as he was installing things so I'll be able to manage it myself down the road. And he came with mounts and equipment that was better than what I bought and was cheaper as well. I highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him again in the future.
