Xfinity kept telling me the "new" box was going to easily pump wifi through my whole house. It never worked and we had multiple dead spots in our house, where wifi never reached. We ended up trying several things, included a second network setup using Google Nest routers. That also didn't work great and we suffered for years. So finally got fed up, and I called BATH and told Ari what the issue was. He gave me a budget, which I bristled at, at first. Then he walked me through a likely fix, which involved a couple routers networked so that I had independent wifi running on both floors of the house but on the same network. The tech came by and was super nice, and walked me through what they were going to do. I was cautiously optimistic. When they were done? I almost cried at how well everything ran through my house. They even set me up so I had ethernet directly to my gaming PC, and direct into my TV and Xbox. I have not had a single issue since (beside Comcast caused outages), and have blazing fast wifi throughout the house (I pay for the gigaspeed Xfinity). I'm finally utilizing the speed as sold to me by Xfinity. Thanks so much BATH. I really appreciate it. The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Huge thanks to Justin and John for their precision and quality of work, and to Jim and Rodrigo for their thoughtful recommendations on equipment and access point placement. We took our laptop and got to watch Scott take out the hard drive and connect it to his computer and then transfer our files to our external hard drive. Scott knows his stuff and explains things so you understand what he is doing. His price was incredibly reasonable for the work he did. We have new laptop for my wife and all her files and pictures and are able to move forward. If you need data recovery services or other computer services, don't hesitate to call Scott. Once he arrived, I explained that I had been going back and forth for months between upgrading to a soundbar with a sub or investing in a full audio system (receiver, towers, sub, etc...). We spent well over 30 minutes talking through the pros and cons of each, along with important things to consider like the size of the house and living room. Ultimately, I decided that I will be upgrading our current soundbar to a newer and nicer one in the near future. He was extremely polite and patient, taking the time to explain terminology and concepts in a way I could easily understand as we installed and set things up (picture and display settings, 1080p vs. 4K capabilities, audio/video/HDMI cables and what they do, device "switches," and how everything works together) as he was installing things so I'll be able to manage it myself down the road. And he came with mounts and equipment that was better than what I bought and was cheaper as well. I highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him again in the future.

He will even test solutions first before having me commit to expensive installs. I have been burned working with more established "high end" installation shops where you just have to trust what the guys are telling you and then never hear from them again. Not with Pacific Wired. Chris was super knowledgeable about the different setup options including Ubiquiti, Eeros, etc. Chris informed that they will take care of bringing all the potential devices to install including the network controller, Netgear switch board, Access Points, etc. Jake was the team member who visited our home for the appointment. I did an initial walkthrough with him sharing all the relevant details including the Xfinity Internet input, preexisting wiring, etc. Jake was quite friendly and shared his knowledge on the different Eero Access Points he brought with him. Jake noticed the possibility of cleaner LAN cord management in the garage using wall plates for which he made a Home Depot visit during the appointment.
