This was a convenient stop for me on a motorcycle ride. Parking is easy with plenty available. Walking in you get the nostalgic feeling of days gone by. Lots of seating up front with both tables and a load of stools at the window counter. They have quite an assortment of baked goods including donuts, cinnamon rolls, quiche, and more. I opted for one of the several varieties of quiche and enjoyed it very much. It also came with a cup of fruit. Service was also quick and friendly. This is a very fun shop. The selection of merchandise is interesting, high-quality and unusual. It was fun shopping here as I found many items that I hadn't seen elsewhere. I spent a lot of $$ on merchandise for future gifts. I don't enjoy shopping in general, but this shop was different. The staff were kind, courteous, and as helpful as could be but they didn't have access to some of the information being asked of them. Three stars because the hours of business were quite confusing as they stopped serving food long before they were posted to close. Some of the food was not available because the staff were told to close the restaurant service early. What this meant was also confusing as I was able to get a bowl of lovely fresh berries, but not a sandwich. The bakery case was available for purchases but none of the staff knew what allergens were in the bakery items. In this day, it's pretty inexcusable for staff not to know or have access to accurate ingredient lists in a restaurant that has it's own bakery. I never did figure out if we could order coffee? was that a restaurant item? It's a coffee shop/sort of a restaurant/bakery with lots of merchandise! Good luck! Perhaps they will be open when you stop by. Perhaps they will be serving food, but don't go if you really need to eat, as for this purpose I'd say this hot spot is unreliable. Stopped in for a drink and got some donuts as well. The iced tea was extra delicious! And the cherry fritter melted in your mouth and the maple bar was the best ever. Definitely recommend! read more

what a joke of a business i ordered a turkey and cranberry sandwich and my niece ordered a clubhouse sandwich. i got the sandwich and there was a very thin slice of turkey and about half a teaspoon of cranberry sauce on as thin of bread as i could almost see right through it! $42.00 and some change. the bad part is i got food poisening from it. i will never set foot in that so called bakery again. help is very unsociable not freindly not even a smile! read more

A very nice cafe, in the middle of town on the main road across the street from the county courthouse, with a lunch menu, yummy baked goodies all within a gift shop setting. Got some gifts for friends, a book, and a maple bar (yum). read more
