Brookie is an artist and the house has great country charm. It was a treat to stay in their "quilt room." Alan, a retired music professor I believe, played the piano for us, and Brookie made us a terrific breakfast. The grounds were lovely. We enjoyed the tour of the Mill and the grounds with Alan. I have always wanted to go back and see them again, but it looks like they are not currently taking guests. We saw no dust, no signs of hoarding, no piles of junk--nothing like that! I don't even remember their being a cat. We had the most pleasant stay you could imagine. I hope all is well with Brookie and Alan and their lovely country inn.

If we had stayed longer- it may have been a bit crammed. Beds were not super comfortable but worked! Walls are very thin- as expected in a bed and breakfast. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and they were beyond accommodating to our nutritional needs! So thankful for that. They do have a cat in the main house. As someone that is deathly allergic to cats- I wasn't able to go into the main eating area. Luckily, the weather was great! And we were able to sit on our patio where they served us breakfast!

Our stay was delightful and the staff members were very accommodating and friendly. Daily continental breakfast was awesome and the best part each morning, was, meeting and conversing with different people. Shared information and learning is always great. Special shout out to Pam and Yvonne for going above and beyond to ensure that we were ok. A special mention/ thanks to Dewayne, even though he is no longer an innkeeper there. We also liked the ability to get a bus to the transit center and to different areas. If there is a need for accommodation again, we won't hesitate to return to the Stone Soup Inn.
