Maybe add mayo, Dijon, and sour cream with apples and walnuts? The avocado toast needs to have more flavoring other than just slicing avocado on some toast. Toast was difficult to cut. Try using some balsamic glaze over micro greens/arugula and a little EVO would go a long way. Maybe guacamole for the avocado toast and top with a fried egg (not crispy on the edges). We have found Tony Chachere's seasoning elevates many dishes, and would be a great accent for avocado toast ;) The cookies are dry & flavorless, our toddler wasn't interested in her cookie despite the pretty sprinkles. The saffron rice is also good, though some more oil would be nice. They also offer extreme contrast of flavors - a side of pickled cabbage that's really tart and a single jalapeño pepper that's spicy for me. Definitely plan to try some of their other offerings. She also reassured me that all the food was gluten free (except the rolls) and had vegan/vegetarian options available. On the day of the event, Vicky, Maria, Olivia, Jordyn, Corey, Nitish, Ellie, and Nick were absolutely exceptional. Everything was handled seamlessly and professionally. Their calm, steady presence made such a difference. They checked in at just the right times (never intrusive and always helpful), and anticipated needs before we even had to ask. We received so much positive feedback about both the food and the service; our guests were very impressed. At the end of the event, I hadn't yet had a chance to eat, and the team was so kind and patient, making sure I was taken care of even while they were clearing up (ahead of schedule, so we had no fear of getting close to the "hard stop" time at our event space). I ended up ordering - tri-tip - mashed potatoes - roasted veggies - assorted bread - lemon garlic salmon - veggie garlic pasta - Greek salad - dinner rolls - fresh fruit display - fresh fruit tarts - petit fours - gluten free mini cupcakes: red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, lemon I appreciate that Priscilla suggested to halve the salmon fillets to have double the number of salmon pieces for guests to have snack portions rather than meal portions. Although mini cupcakes were not listed on her menu, she was able to provide them. Also, you can ask her about gluten free desserts. You can have more than just macarons. Compliments I received... "Did you make the food? The salmon and tri-tip were so juicy." "This is better than most wedding food." 2 people inquired who I used to cater for the event. I received general praise that the food was good. I received explicit praise that the petit fours and fruit tarts were good. The mashed potatoes were thick but good. Passion for catering's setup and tear down went smoothly. It was maybe 20-30 minutes of setup and 10 minutes of tear down. I appreciate that they were able to provide decor for the food tables.
