I don't usually write reviews but I feel the need to share how great my experience was at Moradi today. I went in for a consultation for under eye filler and laser hair removal. From the start Becca was so sweet and friendly. She recommended I wait to do the filler since my face is still a little swollen from some previous cheekbone filler. She answered all of my questions about the laser hair removal process and I never felt pressured to make a decision. Be made sure I was comfortable during the procedure and let me take a small break when I needed to. I can't say enough good things about the skill of Dr. Moradi. He knows and understands the facial structure and how it pertains to aging. Moradi MD is also involved in many clinical research studies, has achieved many rewards for excellence and he is a top plastic surgeon in his field. He has a wonderful, caring staff that are always welcoming, friendly and responsive to concerns before and after any procedure, no matter how small. Having been a patient of Dr. Moradi's for a least 16 years now, and as I turn 69, I am still excited about the natural and healthy look he has helped me maintain as I move into a more mature self. Besides his experienced Botox injections, I finally too the plunge and am extremely happy with the filler applied in my sunken temples and then the next year was bold enough to have filler in my cheekbones. What amazing results the filler, when applied expertly, has made to the soft fullness in my face. Additionally I had not known this but Botox can also be used on the neck bands giving a beautiful neck line which I have also been so pleased with the results. My all time favorite is the LaseMD. This laser treatment removes dark spots, evens skin tone, plumps up my skin and stimulates collagen. I always purchase a package of three treatments and go when it is convenient for me. I saw Dr Mordai a while ago and this has bothered me ever since.. Thats why Im writing this review. I spent 4,300. on filler in my face and it did absolutely nothing. My daughter didn't even notice anything different. I wish he would have suggested something else if he didn't think that was going to work. I visited Dr. Moradi last month for my first time (ever) for preventative BOTOX. I had heard such great things about Dr. Moradi (I am originally from North County SD) and decided to make the trip to his office. It was well worth it. He made me feel so comfortable and his staff was amazing as well. I didn't have to ask for numbing cream which I know is a common concern for many individuals. Also, due to this being a preventative procedure, the soft lines between my brows were used with the perfect amount of BOTOX. I am not "frozen" and the lines have dissipated greatly since my procedure, about 3 weeks ago now. I will be trying to make another appointment soon in order to fill the remaining forehead lines and possibly under eye circles. Thank you. It had been ten years since I've been to Dr. Moradi's office. I had been in to see the Doctor for over a year, when in 2009 I had wanted a small area filled with Juvederm on my face, and the Doctor protested, saying I was okay and refused to treat me... I was distraught and initially thought I was acting insecure when, in retrospect, it was a small adjustment, and he gave me no explanation as to why he wasn't going to adjust, other than I looked fine. I went to another doctor who agreed with the filler placement and accommodated my request. I told this Doctor what had happened, and his reply was, "He should listen to his patients, more. This (filler) looks great". I didn't go back to Moradi's. Fast forward ten years, my GF goes to Dr. Moradi for Botox, and I had her ask him what he thought about me coming in, as I did appreciate specific ways he injected that other doctors have not. He said he remembered who I was and yes, to have me come in. I was initially greeted by Veronica, who immediately recognized me from years back. She asked what I was interested in getting. I told her Juvederm Ultra and where I would've liked the touchups. She said, Dr. M wouldn't use Juvederm, he'd use Restylane instead. I told her my body absorbs Restylane quickly and that I prefer Juvederm (I've had fillers done for the past 10 years and am familiar with what works for me and what doesn't). She left seeming not too happy. A few minutes later, Dr. Moradi comes in. He feigns no memory of who I am, which I thought was weird since Veronica knew who I was and he told my friend he remembered me. I was immediately uncomfortable but explained what I wanted in spite of him not acknowledging me, which was filler in my bottom lip, my nasolabial & cheeks (getting older and face thinning). He said "Mhmm," shook his head, said, "I see." Then, ready for this, he says, "You don't need anything. Your top lip (which still had filler and the bottom lip didn't) will decrease in size and you'll be fine. You can leave when you're ready." I kid you not LOL! He walked out of the room and closed the door as I'm sitting there with my mouth open, trying to take in what just happened. I was discriminated against for absolutely no reason at all...or was it because I requested Juvederm instead of Restylane. The moral of the story is if a Doctor with a god-complex deems his judgment of your appearance as infallible and you (me) are crazy enough to want to give him another chance, don't. read more

I went to Dr Moradi's for cool sculpting on my stomach, Jocelyn was the technician. The entire staff was very friendly and professional, and I felt very comfortable with Jocelyn. The first round of cool sculpting showed no results, they decided to offer a second session at no additional cost to see if that would show results. The second round did not show any results either. Jocelyn knew I was very disappointed and said she would speak to her manager to see if there was anything else we could do. I waited to hear from her, and after 1 week I called and left a message. I waited an additional week and called again and left another message. I never have received a return call. I know everybody is different, but cool sculpting did not work for me. I spent 1500.00 and I feel it was a serious waste of money. read more

Went in for cool sculpt- complete Flop!!! To be fair , It may have been a lousy choice for me- this procedure only good if you have 3 pounds max you're looking to reduce- have to go back over & over & very expensive for small changes only- I am about 20 pounds over thinking cool sculpt max- 2 big paddles over 2 different areas - 3200 bucks- would bring a little better fat reduction- Results - 4 months later, virtually no Difference - I wish I would have used the money for tummy tuck- they do not do tucks here- Staff really nice but still out a lot of money. read more

I had my first round of botox yesterday. While Dr. Moradi and Veronica were VERY sweet I can't say the same about the front desk girls or a girl who introduced herself as Magdalena. When I walked in and started filling out my paperwork Magdalena walked over and asked what I was having done. I told her botox and she says: "why did you wait so long"! I am 36 and have never really cared too much about the lines on my face but since they were having a special I thought I would give it a shot. I told her "it never really bothered me". She says: "we are all different." I was floored! I then went in for my consult and had the botox done. I asked a few questions on fillers and then was ready to check out. I planned to pay with care credit. When I told the girl behind the desk this she told me that they don't allow it for anything over $500. I had already called and confirmed! About an hour later I went home and got a call telling me that I had an appointment for an hour later for a consult. I didn't call back because I was sure they were just confused. Today I got a text for a confirmation for an appointment on Friday!! I called to clear it up and the girl who answered the phone was pretty rude. I'm SO bummed that their front of the office was such a let down because the doctor and nurse were great! read more

Fully disclosure: I have not seen Dr Moradi, I saw Dr Antle, who works in his practice and was great, and one of the Nurses, Sheila, who does laser work for them. I am especially pleased with the laser work, had some vbeam on my rosacea, and other kind of laser on my chest. Looking much much better! The laser cost was quite reasonable, when I compared notes with a friend who used someone else in Del Mar. Supposedly Moradi's practice is one of the highest volume injectors in the county -- and that is saying a lot. Practice makes perfect so always best to use people who get that much practice If you are a coastal person it is definitely worth it to make the drive inland to see them. Easy to find, right off the 78. Only issue - lack of magazines in the waiting room - but you won't have to wait long usually. read more

Oh my goodness, why did I not find Dr. Moradi earlier!?! After seeing my friend's gorgeous and natural looking results from a tiny bit of Botox, I had to try it for myself. I'm 41 and this was my first time doing anything "cosmetic" to myself - I don't even get facials! Dr. Moradi and his staff are just lovely people. Very kind, patient, and talented.
