They did a good job on our six white shutters. Unfortunately, a terrible job on repainting our two cabinets under our kitchen sink. When they dropped the two cabinets off, I could see they did not prep correctly, because you could see the areas that needed the most help, still showing signs of distress. When I pointed, they attempted to fix it at my home, which was a concern. They needed to truly start over, the prep was done right. Within a month, the cabinets showed signs of wear and tear on those very areas that were not fixed correctly from the beginning. I reached out to asking with the issue, they first said they would come by and pick up the cabinets to repaint (Which means I need to buy more paint, it's not cheat, special paint for kitchen cabinets). After several attempts to set up an appointment, they just ignored me. I was very patient, but it's been 6 months, they are not going to fix the cabinets. I asked for my money back since I need to pay for someone to repaint the two cabinets, no reply. Moises came to give us an estimate on some shutters we wanted made and installed. It was a special shape and the crown moulding above the window made the project a bit more challenging than usual. I was told probably not possible to install the shutters flush and that it would be a bit inside of the window casing. On the day of installation, my husband was home and seeing that the shutters were not flush with the casing, he asked Moises to redo it after pointing out a few options that Moises could try to make it happen. We decided we would pay for it to be re-made. The shutters ended up costing us almost twice the amount quoted because of this. I just wished that Moises had been able to figure out this way of doing it when I had him come out for the estimate - he made it sound like it was not possible, even though in the end, it was indeed possible. Both sets of shutters did take a while to be completed and communication could be better at times. Despite these hiccups, the 5 star rating is because the shutters are nicely made and I believe Moises did a great job in the end. read more
