We ordered top-down/bottom-up cellular shades for my home office and dining room and regular shades for a small window above our kitchen sink. Kaylee was the consultant we worked with. She was personable, positive, friendly and provided superior service. She communicated well every step of the way and set the right expectations each time. She brought several samples/swatches and left them with us to give us the chance and time to see how it looks during the day and at night. What impressed us the most was when we had minor issues on our dining room shades (it felt heavy when pulling down), Kaylee relayed the issue to the owner and the manufacturer's rep to figure it out. While it took some time to get it right, they were in contact with me each and every time which we greatly appreciated. And they made sure that we were happy with the final product. TBH, compared with a few vendors we used for our remodeling project, Budget Blinds was "the only one" who kept us abreast of what was going on and provided updates. The other vendors we hired, I had to track them down, and some didn't even reply to emails. They did not care because they were already paid. I contacted several companies, but most either couldn't find a similar product or suggested replacing all three sections again. Luckily, I found Korner Stone Blinds & Shutters through Yelp. They already had great reviews, and Jenny responded so quickly. I made an appointment for an estimate, and I honestly felt a little bad asking them to come out for only one blind. However, they were very happy to help with a small project and worked around my schedule. They found a very similar product that matched my existing blinds and even customized the handles and edges so everything would look like one complete set from the beginning. I was so impressed with their attention to detail. I only waited about a week before they contacted me that the blind was ready for installation. The installation was quick, but at first, it was slightly different from what I expected. I was worried because this was the same issue that caused the previous installer to leave the job unfinished. But they were not concerned at all. They calmlyfound a solution, removed the blind with a positive attitude, adjusted the fabric, and came back within a few hours to reinstall it. The final result was amazing! It looks perfect, and I am so happy they understood exactly what I wanted. I am honestly a perfectionist and can be very particular about details, but they exceeded my expectations. Victor led installation and had the help of one other person. They finished everything in a day, and were very considerate (e.g., putting plastic down to not stain the carpet, vacuuming up dust, cleaning the windows). It ended up taking 4 weeks, but that was no problem for me. I actually had to reschedule the original install date because I was sick, and they were very understanding and accommodating of that. The guy who installed them was efficient and super clean. It took about 5 hours for him to mount all of the roller shades we got, and everything looks perfect! I got quotes from a couple other companies, and while Sunburst was about the same price as the other places, I ultimately chose them because I liked Kimball better than the other people I met with. His personality and communication with me is what sealed the deal.
