He was thrown off because there were buildings on the property he didn't even get entry to and 7 months into living in the home a hose bib started to leak. We call a plumber to replace it. I have been assured that the first year I am covered well the plumber tells me 3in of water is in the crawl and when I call John to get information about the warranty he won't pick up. I called and texted him still no answer. Looks like I will have to foot the bill but NEVER USE STRAIGHT STREET AND NEVER LET YOUR REALTOR SUGGEST WHO TO USE. We also paid the additional fee for a sewer scope and he provided us with a video of this service. I recommend them to all my clients and I chose them to inspect the home I purchased for myself this year. The biggest thing they ever found for a client of mine was undisclosed major fire damage in the crawl space. David was inspecting the furnace which was under the house and surprisingly found burned beams underneath the house. We were able to negotiate with the sellers and have all the burnt framing removed and replaced at no cost. Another time, they discovered a hole in the home's main drain line using their sewer cam. This saved my client thousands of dollars in damages later. Old goat is worth every dollar and they don't rush inspections unlike other companies I've dealt with.
