Bobahead offers kiosk and counter service, so whether you enjoy the convenience and quickness of ordering yourself, or you prefer the "human touch" of ordering from an employee, this location ensures you will be satisfied. 3 words: peach oolong tea. And boba. With lychee. So, okay, actually 7 words. But these 7 words were all I needed to complete my lazy afternoon wandering around Valley River Center. The achilles heal of many boba tea establishments is using weak tea as a base. I'm happy to report that, although they do offer various smoothies and non-tea options, Bobahead's oolong tea is actually good tea and I would happily drink it plain. I had a bit of a sweet craving today, so I chose to make it 100% sweet and add boba and lychee. It was the perfect combo of sweet and bitter and I couldn't stop myself from slurping it all down as soon as I got home. I will be back to Bobahead again and will probably order the same thing because it was just too delicious!

Apparently Native Coffee is a fairly new company and they've opened a couple of stands in less than a year so they seem to be off to a good start. I visited about 10 days after they opened this location so I'm not sure if they usually have drink specials or not; it didn't seem like they had any today. Luckily it doesn't tend to matter to me since I don't drink coffee; I'm a chai or lemonade gal. Their chai was really good, and though I don't know for a fact it's not Oregon Chai brand, I'd be really surprised. The chai they have here is really subtle in flavor, whereas Oregon Chai is very very sweet. I was really pleased with this drink. The guy who took my order was super friendly and thanked me for stopping by. I usually don't buy pastries when stopping at a coffee trailer, but I'm glad I asked because they were really great. I hadn't heard of a lemon roll before but yummmmm. Definitely pick one up if they still have them when you stop by, and since they keep them in the fridge for freshness I'd definitely microwave them for 30 seconds or so (actually, warm them up even if you live it at room temp for a bit). Native Coffee is a great addition to the coffee options in Eugene, and worth a stop if you're in west Eugene.

The locals apparently help run the store as one of the locals just grabs a coffee pot and walks around offering to refill coffee cups lol!! The breakfast burrito is outstanding. It's in a large flour tortilla and filled with potato, egg and sausage. Prices are pretty good. My burrito combined with my 20oz breve and the wife's 20oz americano was only $14.. Yep, real local charm here with the good old boys reminiscing and discussing current events, younger set with laptops open working away. The floors and tables are clean, the lighting is a warm subdued and the conversation is entertaining. Oops, here we go again, another local going around offering coffee refills, creamer....
