Finally wrote a review on Google which led to someone from corporate finding out what happened. Had to go back in to cancel original order and place again. A week later still no answer as to where the order is or an expected date of arrival. My flooring job had to be postponed yet again. This company is horrible at delivery and orders. Went online to find out they had so many similar complaints. It's no wonder they went out of business before. Why they started back up under another name is beyond me. Do your due diligence and order from another reputable company. Don't use this one. You'll potentially lose money and time. A very disorganized company with horrible customer service.

I came in 3 months ago and had the unfortunate experience dealing with Sam from the Yonkers location. She would call me every month, sometimes a couple times a month to ask when I wanted my floor installed. Our relationship was cordial UNTIL my installation date. Wally, the installer was very honest and said many boards were too short, dented, and appeared to have some kind of flaw. He didn't feel comfortable starting a job I wouldn't be happy with. I brought this to Sam's attention the very next day. Instead of saying I'm so sorry for your inconvenience, what can we do to fix this problem for you, she blatantly said..."that's the wood you chose Mr. Rizzo. She tried to make me believe it's distressed wood and suppose to look like that when it clearly shows it on the exotic hardwood section on their website. I responded with one simple question..."If the wood is suppose to look like that, how come wally didn't feel comfortable installing it?! This entire experience was a major disaster because my wife and I had to reschedule many appointments around this installation that NEVER happened! LL FLOORING couldn't cover the simple cost to do the job correctly and more importantly, fulfill customer satisfaction! Take your business elsewhere...TRUST ME!!!

I had water damage to one of my room upstairs due to a radiator leak. I wasn't sure if we needed to do just the 1 room or the whole upstairs since the wood is all connected. When I had spoken to him on the phone he said there may be a slightly different color if we do just the one room. So before he came out, I asked if he can get us both quotes. He came out when I wasn't home but my wife was. He didn't measure anything. Look at the room where the damage was and left. He didn't look at the rest of the upstairs. I didn't get a message for him so I texted him. He gave me a quote for the one room. I asked, do you have a quote for how much it would be for the whole upstairs. He said he didn't look at the other room upstairs. I described the size of the other room upstairs and he texted back with a quote. I asked if you can send me in writing the 2 quotes. He said he has to charge me $150 for the quotes. Then I said, "What? Why?" He never responded. Just in case he didn't see it, I text him again the next day. He didn't respond again. Ralphie came to my home and got to work right away for two days in a row. The good, Ralphie put molding around my basement walls. He also went above and beyond to place drafting round my basement door as well as my laundry door. However, now my laundry door will NOT close. Ralphie also told me he couldn't get behind my dryer because of some elbow pipe but my contractor came to my home and pulled the dryer right out the wall with no problem. I didn't like how he left an uncovered space as well as an uneven floor in my basement. One day I went outside and saw trash in my backyard. I asked Ralphie if they take out the trash and he told me no, they do NOT take out the trash which I thought was weired. I keep my patio cushions in trash bags and someone from his team, took my cushions out of the trash bags and used them to throw away the trash his team created which I thought was unprofessional. Lastly, I have a lot of candles. Someone from his team broke at least 6 of them but didn't say anything. It wasn't until I started cleaning up, I noticed what happened. Ralphie was supposed to come to my home to fix my laundry door to have it closed and he has not done so as of yet. Again, I was expecting a little more especially for the price I paid. Would I hire them again, probably not. I used Dan in 2020 and at the time I wanted a specific gray color floor. Dan listened, stained patches and had me come and pick out my color. It was so much better than I anticipated. The amount of compliments I got was unreal. I was lucky enough to have Dan sand and stain another home for us. Dan brought the wood back to life. The wood floors made the house look immediately 20 yrs younger. Dan works neatly and quickly. He isn't the type to give you a price and then things come up and you are now 3k higher then the original price. I have recommended Dan to numerous friends and everyone is beyond happy with the work he does!

I can't say enough about Buono's…read more I had heard good things about the company from other folks in my building, as well as on Yelp, and from the first moment I requested a quote through Yelp, Lou Buono was responsive, courteous, and an actual pleasure to communicate with. If you've worked with a lot of folks in the trades, this is very much the exception to the rule, and as such I was pleasantly surprised. Lou quickly got back to me with a very reasonable quote, and once we agreed on the details and a date, we were off and running. We had some damage and discoloration on our white oak floors, and we wanted to sand and refinish them. Lou was helpful as we got together the paperwork my building required to get it done. On the agreed upon day, his guys showed up on time, and while they weren't the excellent communicators that he is (their English wasn't great), they were conscientious and obviously knew what they were doing. Lou said the work would take 1-2 days, and they were done in just a day. We had a minor hiccup after the fact, but Lou immediately investigated the issue, and handled it well. I'll definitely be going straight to Buono's next time I need any flooring work done.
