I've had 4 cars for some time and they're all pretty old. This is the only place I go for smog checks because I trust Gabriel. When he can, he gives me a heads up if the car is likely not to pass instead of just charging me. You can tell who the honest people are when they take the right actions even if it'll cost them. In the end, I'm more than happy to support honest people by giving them all my business instead of shopping around to save a few bucks. That said, I think his services are more affordable than many others. read more

Great service. I needed a Star Certified test station. They answered the phone right away. Very efficient. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Before they started, they asked me if I had a check engine light on recently or any work done recently to avoid a failure for any codes stored in the computer. I had so he followed up by asking how many miles I had driven since the work was done and the codes cleared. He explained that even though the check engine light was no longer on, I needed to have an enough mile driven after the repair for the smog test to pass. I really appreciated his effort to ensure my vehicle was ready to be tested and avoid an unnecessary failure. read more

I know this is late, went in May 2019, but felt I needed to write this review. Needed a star certified station, and had been there before. Very professional! Had smog on my 2005 f150. Got in right away. Super fast, however, it didn't pass due to gas cap needing replaced. He told me to get new cap (which went and bought right away) and would retest and it passed. No extra charge. I Absolutely recommend this place, these guys were great. They are honest and offer quick smog service. They even offered to stay late in the day for me since I get off work after hours. This was my second time taking my car there. They were so honest and didn't try to take advantage because i'm a girl, they told me my check engine light was on and that would cause a failed test so they didn't want to perform the test and have to charge me when they already knew it would fail. I was very grateful for there honesty, they could have just took my money and said it failed. They also gave me advice on figuring out the issue so I could get it fixed. This place used to be good but changed owners and now not so good, the guy works really slow so if your waiting behind another car it's gonna be a while, no air conditioning in the waiting area not even a fan going come on people! Waited for an hour only to have the guy say the machine is malfunctioning and cannot link with my car!!! Waste of time and they charge $60. That's more than any other smog shop. they charged $70.00 to check my truck and tell me that some things were missing.I asked why he did not tell my from the start,( if in one second of looking he knew my truck would fail)? He had told me that the state wanted to fail vehicles and that is why he did not tell me from the start that my truck would not have passed. read more
