He recommended piping be put underground, being late in the day he showed up the next morning to assess the situation and accused the builder of a 6 year old house that the gas line was 'not up to code'. I contacted the builder concerned who reassured me it was with photos and a video. He then reassessed the situation and determined it was ok then said he would be "right back". He never returned that day. It being day 2 with gas for hot water, i contacted another plumber. I texted him and figured he didn't want the work. He called back and said he still wanted to complete the work, but said he had 'emegencies' that day and forgot to contact me. I said that's fine but i need a fixed bid. He said he could provide an estimate but "didn't know what he was going to find" in the ground. Which is not a "fixed" bid. The new plumber showed up the next assessed the situation and determined that digging was not required and gave me a firm cost. They had my gas back on by the afternoon. Meanwhile, I told Jerry i would pay for the work completed as I felt bad. He showed up to my house without notice and demanded payment then as 'he had to be somewhere'. As I was out i told him i could leave him a check when i got back but couldn't magically appear at that moment. I ended paying Jerry for the 'work' he completed. A nice fellow, but not very focused on the customer's situation. He recommended unnecessary work ( a bunch of needless trenching) and needless anxiety (by suggesting my gas line was not up to code and the house may 'blow up'). And i spent $460 on nothing but grief and a 2 day delay. Wouldn't recommend. Find someone else.

Charged us for 3 hours when he was only here for maybe 50 minutes. Then to top it off, the faucet is so TIGHT, I would need a pair of pliers to turn it. My husband finally tried turning it on and NO Water comes out. It is broken. This is ridiculous. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I must say mr moretto was such a great person to work with I had servral issues at my office one of them was a water heater and we had bad facets that just started leaking also I wanted work done at my home and from past expreince I don't just let people in my home but jack moretto I trust his prices are fair in fact at this point I don't care how much it cost ill never use a nother plumber besides moretto plumbing and design hes very good at what he does infact hes the only super service plumbing contractor on angieslist for 2013 in north west Arkansas that means number one and it shows in his details and I want the best ive had other plumbers in the past and thay try to sell stuff to you that you don't need moretto plumbing does not work that way are you listening mr moretto thank god I found a real plumber read more

One of our neighbors in the Oak Tree subdivision replaced their water heater and referred Moretto Plumbing because of their great work and reasonable pricing. We called them on a Wednesday. They came out that evening and inspected our water heater. They pointed out how our water heater was not up to current code and the hazard and risk it posed. Within 48 hours they replaced our old water heater with a new and improved water heater that is now up to code and eliminated the risk the old water heater poised. Additionally, we had a water faucet that was leaking. They looked and repaired at a minimal cost. Great Service!!! read more

Jack was very professional and knowledgeable. He helped us determine which model/size water heater would meet our expectations without pushing a particular brand on us. Their price was lower than others we had come out and give a quote as well. Installation was just as professional. They where on time and installed without being in a rush or cutting corners. Jack even let us do paint touch-up on the wall before installing the new water heater in exiting location. Our water heater stopped working on a Friday, but by Monday afternoon we had a brand new and better water heater installed for a really low price (about $300-$500 less than competitors). They said nothing about the sprinkler system before they left. We thought they put the sprinkler hoses back together. When I called them about fixing what they broke, - they said they don't fix sprinkler systems. OK, but 1) they should have told us that instead of closing up the hole they dug and just leaving it broken!!!. It cost us another $800 to call another company to come out and dig the same hole again to put the pipes to the sprinkler system back together. These are nice guys, but, need to be upfront on what they aren't going to do.

I had a water leak in my main water line from the meter to the house. House is 19 years old and we…read moreagreed that it would probably be best to replace the line. They arrived on time and started digging at the meter towards our house, they found the leak about 8 feet out. The line was current PEX tube and had a large rock under it and due to large trucks driving on it had pierced the tube. He said everything looked good and the tube was in good shape, recommended replacement of that small section and not the entire line. This saved us thousands of dollars. It was replaced, tested and no leaks! I have used JOCO a couple of times and been very happy but this is integrity of the highest. You get what you pay for and sometimes even more.

Good on response time...but very expensive for water heater installation. Next day...no hot water!read more
