They are friendly and knowledgeable. There are very punctual after an appointment has been set up and let you know exactly when they are going to be there. They were able to come in and fix the problem and clean up after they were finished. They explained the problem and asked if I had any questions concerning what they had done to fix the wall heater. They were prepared with all of the right equipment as they finished up they checked all of the other settings and made sure that everything was in working condition. Update: Be sure to read my previous review before this one to get more context on the kind of people you can expect to deal with at Morflow. Also be sure to read the 1 star and 2 star reviews and look for recurring patterns, such as disorganization, unreliability and inferior quality work/customer service. These people are not above calling you after business hours and even giving out our private phone number to third parties to call on their behalf when we refuse their calls, due to it being after business hours/the weekend. We presume they were upset due to the 1 star review left, however, we have moved past that and had to request our Property Manager to deal with these people directly and ask these people to call the Property Management instead of us, so that they can stop harassing us. In retaliation, Morflow left a disparaging words about us to our property management company, attempting to put blame on us for their mistakes, stating there was "concern with the tenant". SMH. We invite the Yelp community to have have a look at our reviews and compare notes with the other 1 and 2 star reviews dating as far back as 2013. You will see a consistent pattern of incompetence, unreliability, and inferior quality work/service going back as far as 2013. (Skip over all the contrived 5-star reviews which look like their friends & family made them to offset the actual real 1 star reviews) The facts speak for themselves. So if you are considering this company for your needs, think very carefully, as your phone number may get passed around to third parties without your consent/knowledge to heckle you if you do put in a review not their liking. We have had a chance to compare notes with other previous customers through the Yelp DM messaging system and we are by far not the only ones who have gone through these things and worse. Working with Morflow Air & Heating has been an amazing experience. I had an old and inefficient split system that needed to be replaced. Ken and Edwin guided me through the process every step of the way and thoroughly explained what work needed to be done. They were always on top of everything and were always available to answer any questions. The contractors expanded the return vent's size without causing any damage to the surrounding drywall, which I really appreciated. An appointment was scheduled to inspect my house and discuss the size, brand, and pricing of the unit. Their supervisor/foreman, Edwin, arrived to my house on time and immediately, I noticed the difference when he took his time to measure room by room, inspected the types of windows we have, the doors, and even looked for areas we may experience drafts or air escapes and gave recommendations on the different brands and tonnage required to have the proper amount of A/C or heating based on the total amount of air space that he calculated. I've been in construction for over 25 years, and one of the brands that he suggested was one I was looking into installing; so we agreed to go with BOSCH with a BOSCH-Invertor 3-ton 15 SEER unit (exactly what I was looking for). A detailed quote arrived and I was pleased and surprised that they gave me a very competitive price, which I signed immediately and scheduled for installation. When the installation started, Edwin arrived with a full team, which made me feel pleased that a good quality installation was going to be done. And due to my construction background, I observed good quality of work and very knowledgeable technicians with a friendly and professional attitude. After completion, I was explained and trained on the proper operations of the system and maintenance. Before I decided to post on Yelp, I waited over a year to make sure that I was pleased with the installation, operation, functionality, and the 6-month services. Our A/C went out on July 5th. Morflow came to fix it on July 8th. Cost $500 and by the end of the day, it still didn't work. Called Morflow again and they never could give us another appt. I had a new HVAC system installed 5 years ago By another HVAC company who is out of business now. The units are still under MFG Warranty for parts. Because the orginal company is out of business the labor is not covered. I understood this going into getting my HVAC repaired. I called 5 HVAC companies in Santa Clarita where I live and non were authorized to cover the parts warranty. So I called the MFG about the warranty and they sent me to their web page for a dealer stating anyone of them could cover the parts warranty. There are 20 Dealers listed on the MFG web page within 15 miles of me. I called everyone of the Dealers and asked if they would honor the MFG warranty on the parts. I was either told no because they didn't install the units or they didn't know and would call me back. Only 3 called back, just to tell me no they would not cover the MFG warranty. The only Dealer that would Honor the MFG Warranty without installing the HVAC systen was MORFLOW AIR & HEATING. The only company that gave me a answer on the first call was Morflow. Lillian was courteous and very helpful. She checked with Ken who set a appointment to come out and repair the unit. Ken was very Professional up front and honest with me. His team came out and serviced my HVAC. They were Professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. They did the work in a timely manner. The Morflow team went above and beyond my expectationsations. I have asked for a maintenance contract for them to come out and service my HVAC system once a year. Yeah, spoke to this same guy Ken. First of all they didn't show up on the day they were supposed to. I called during the time they were supposed to be there and they had lost my file and didn't even know who I was. Then they asked if they could come out the next day. I agreed even though I was not happy. The next day two guys came but they knocked on my door all weird. They came in, the one guy was polite, then they said I would get a call most likely that same day with estimates. Never got a call that day. Finally I called them 4 days later and was told they could not help me. I asked why and they said I'd have to talk to Ken but he was unavailable at the time. We called back and forth and finally another 2 days later I spoke to him and he said that he could not help me do to the siding on my building. I asked him why he could not put it in my window like another tenant in my building had, and he said he wouldn't help me with that. Ken had the guys perform a major ductwork overhaul and HVAC system service in a very rapid fashion. Prior to the work done, our upstairs HVAC systems suffered from lack of airflow and cooling temperature. Once the work started, it only took the crew about 8 hours to fully disassemble the existing upstairs ductwork and haul it off site. Within these 8 hours, the crew also installed new ductwork and registers with a major system service. Even on hot days in our upstairs rooms, the AC blows cold enough to force us to wear a jacket! The heater is even more efficient than ever. As always, Morflow provides a top quality service with knowledgeable service technicians. If you are in LA or the Valley, you are doing a disservice to yourself by not utilizing their services! read more

Very unprofessional & unreliable...On July 30, 2019 I spoke with Ken regarding LADWP AC Optimization program and got scheduled for the service on August 1,2019. I was scheduled for 8-10 AM. Prior to that I verified with them If the service can be done within that time frame since I have another appointment in Los Angeles at 12:15PM. I dont want to be late due to heavy traffic from the Valley and he assured me it will only take 2 hours the most. On August 1st, I waited until 8:30AM and no technician from Morflow came. I called an it immediately went into voicemail. I called again after 10 minutes and Ken answered and right away told me, the technician was on the way. I asked him if it can still be done within the time frame(2 hours) and he told me "No, it usually takes at least 3 hours". What? What ever happen to the 2 hours the most? Before i could even ask to reschedule, Ken told me that "Ok , ill call the technician that we need to reschedule. We will just call you when there is available schedule" then hangup. TLDR; incompetent workers, boss, receptionist. Avoid if you don't want to waste your time and money My apartment management works with this company so I'm just going to assume their terrible customer service and sh***y service is just to take another dime out of my apartment management. My wall mounted ac unit has not been properly maintenanced since I moved into the apartment around 10 years ago. I felt like it was time to get a check up on it to see if anything was broken or fluids need to be changed. They called me and set up an appointment. The first time they were prompt and said that my ac was working fine but they will give it a nice cleaning and tune up. They were nice and efficient. However, a couple days later I realized the ac unit started to leak an immense amount of fluid right in front of my door (outside the apartment unit). It was dripping all the way down to my downstairs neighbor. I gave the company a call and explained the situation, the receptionist was giving a little attitude but it wasn't terrible. She said I would have to wait until Friday morning between 9-12 for someone to come in (I called on a Monday). I agreed because the ac unit still worked fine despite the puddles of liquid it left outside. I get a call around 3:30pm on Friday which I could not answer because I was working. Ken left a voicemail asking me to call him back. During my break, around 20 mins later, I called him. The first thing he does is try to lecture me on how to use my a/c unit and that it is like a refrigerator and that I have to keep the fan on constantly and that I should have the dial to the middle and not cranked up. Then he said "I left on your fan for you". IT WAS 3PM, no one was going to get home until 7PM and he decided by himself that it was okay to waste a stranger's electricity because he honestly is probably extremely incompetent and rude. I said "okay, I will not have it on constantly because that's a waste of electricity" and proceeded to ask him why there was a leak. He replied with "what do you mean?" Apparently, he didn't see the report and came to my apartment just CLEAN AGAIN and ASSUMED that the problem was that the ac unit wasn't working well and I complained about how it doesn't get cold. BOTH of which I did not do. I explained that two weeks ago people from his company came to do a cleaning and after they left, the ac unit started leaking a lot of fluids and a giant puddle outside and it was never a problem before. He replied with "I didn't see a puddle but it's probably because its humid outside"....... I restated "it was never a problem until your guys came to clean it and of course the puddle is not there, it is 3pm and 105 degrees outside, no one has been using the ac since last night" and told him that if he didn't know what he was supposed to do, he could have easily called his receptionist to check the file or called me to confirm what the problem was. He responds with "I did call you" and I stated "yes, you did. AFTER you were finished and already on your way to your next assignment" Only then did he apologize and stated that he will come back on Monday to check on the problem. I asked "could you go back and at least turn off the fan that I never approved of you doing" and he said "no, I can't. I have two more assignments today" I called the receptionist to see what the file said and she said exactly what I called in for. I explained to her what happened and she stated with an attitude "Well, so youre not home right now? so how do you know if there is still a puddle" ARE YOU F***** SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? because your f*** incompetent boss couldn't do the one job he was assigned to do and you incompetent self can't comprehend that HE DID NOTHING ABOUT THE LEAK and just cleaned the ac unit AGAIN which was already done two weeks ago. Monday comes and two people come to fix the ac unit. They literally start off by saying "okay so you have to make sure to put the ac on all the time with the dial in the middle" I said "i dont need to be taught how to use my ac unit, there is a puddle outside as you can see, please fix this problem" They reply "okay we will see" *they take around 30 mins doing stuff outside; didn't even bother to turn it on to inspect where the leak is coming from* They put it back in and I ask "so why was it leaking" They replied with "sometimes it leaks when it is humid outside" here we f*** go again. I said "it was not like that until it was cleaned by two guys from your company two weeks ago" They reply with "my boss came alone last Friday to clean it again" THEY OBVIOUSLY DID NOT READ THE REPORT ALSO I state "no, two guys TWO WEEKS ago came to clean it and ever since then the ac unit started leaking" They were quiet for a minute and said "you just need to make sure the dial is in the middle and sometimes you get puddles when it is humid" AT THAT POINT I WAS FINISHED AND JUST DEEMED THEM INCOMPETENT They told me I can't plug it in for 24hrs. To start, they are a valley company and I am in Mar Vista (in West LA). It depends on the time of year. During the winter, they are somewhat reliable. They relocated my forced air unit from a closet into my attic and did the job perfectly and professionally in 3 days. But fast forward to spring/summer time and I couldn't get them to take my money. I called in March because my central air/heat wasn't properly distributing the correct temperature. They came out and diagnosed that i needed to redo all my duct work. Fine. Get me a number. Took a few weeks and finally I get the number. A little steep but he offered me to span it over 3 months, which i appreciated. Told him I need to work the finances out and I'd call him within a week. So I did. During that time, we were hit with a heat wave and people were having crisis in the valley, which I understood since I grew up in the valley. But now here we are 3 months later an still nothing. I keep calling, Ken says I'll call you back and never does. I finally told him, if you don't want the job, tell me and I'll go elsewhere. To which is said, "I'm working on 3 things right now, let me call you back" which he never did. That was 4 days ago, I'm still waiting Ken! His guys do great work, but getting them to your site (especially on the westside) is like pulling teeth. UPDATE: I waited till December thinking that it will be slower for him to respond. Called him, didn't even have a copy of the quote he sent me. I had to fax it to him. Then he tells me prices went up! Really? He said he needed to get a new price and call me back. He promised he'd call me back tomorrow (yeah ken, heard that before) and here we are 3 days later and big shock, NO CALL BACK! So over them. Shame because their guys are good and do quality work. Too bad Ken has no clue how to run a business. read more

My older heating system shut down suddenly during one of the coldest weeks here in the Valley, temps went down into the 30's ... I was FREEZING and pretty distraught. I made one call to Morflow and spoke to a professional dispatcher named Patrice who told me not to worry and that that she would have someone at my home between 9am and noon the following morning. Sure enough a very pleasant man Named Leo and his assistant Luis showed up at 9 am and quickly remedied the situation. LIFE SAVER!! My home still has the original system that was installed over 40 years ago when my home was built, he managed to make a quick repair and within a few minutes my heater kicked back on. I thought for sure I was going to have to have it completely replaced due to this emergency, and if I he said it was needing immediate replacement I would have done anything at that point, but Leo said not to worry and that for now I should have no problems with it or the a/c once the weather changes because he checked out the entire system. I had been thinking about having a new system installed very soon because of the age of the unit and cost of electricity , and know and will be calling the owner of Morflow Ken to make those arrangement and feel confident that I will be treated fairly, and professionally. I had a very unpleasant experience with Morflow. His technician was rude to my wife and very abrupt with my mother in-law who is 80years old. Their technician hung up the phone on my wife and on me. I called Ken (the owner) and was told he refused to work on my units at one of our buildings. He left me high and dry with some very uncomfortable tenants. I have never had any on hang up on me in this manor. Further I had given him business and just recently he fixed one of our units that went on the blink one week later.
