This involved using a hydraulic anvil which breaks open the old piple while pulling the pulling the Polyethylene pipe through the old hole. Trenching was needed only at the two ends. Without this equipment being available and entire outdoor cement staircase overlaying the pipe would have had to be demolished and replaced! Alvin sent photos and video throughout the entire job. The cement work closing up the two end connection points looked like a cement contractor did the work. Very clean! There was a major leak around our water meter near the street... in unfortunate close proximity to a large, sidewalk-lifting tree. Jose & crew dug under the sidewalk onto the front yard to make certain the leak wasn't widespread and replaced the pipe linking our meter to our house. After replacing the failing pipe, Jose informed that we would eventually want to replace the entire length of water line, from the meter to the house. This was no upsell--just sensible, future looking maintenance. It so happens that very recently I had been hearing water running late at night, even when no one in our house was using it. I recorded the sound and sent it to Jose. He had confirmed my fear: that water had been running--but for how ? We have no way 5. Jose and Nick dropped by later in the morning to check our meter... and, sure enough, the needle was spinning like the millisecond hand of an analog stop watch. After a short, concise conversation about the scope of the repairs, Jose and Nick promptly got to work, digging a trench for the pipe that would reroute our home's main water line. They finished the job within a couple of hours. So-Cal Plumbing & Rooter may be the name of our plumber, but the business Jose is in relationship building. Re: the new unit: We've been using it now almost daily for about a month, now that the Valley summer is here. The unit has been working phenomenally and without a problem. I have a good sense of how much this work should cost based on recent estimates I got on another mini-split, so I believe that AC Kings' quote + bill was market competitive. But to be honest (and maybe I'll regret saying this out loud), I would probably pay just a little extra for Oscar's expertise and detail-oriented work. It's clear he knows his stuff. To support this last point, I should note that technically AC Kings came by a THIRD time to our house--on accident, because they were helping out my neighbor (who also said their work was excellent). I had an exceptional experience with Nero's and their warm, friendly service. My furnace had been out for over a year, and a different company promised to come out but never did. When I reached out to Nero's, they answered my call promptly and scheduled a convenient day and time for a visit. They were punctual and even sent a text to let me know they were on their way. I don't know much about furnaces, and my unit is quite old, so I feared I would need a complete replacement. However, Nero's quickly identified a faulty part and went out to find a replacement. We were new homeowners and had only moved in for less than a month when our AC unit went out. It…read morewas an ancient unit that certainly needed replacement, but when we called The Right Choice, they arrived with the pushiest, sleaziest salesman you could imagine. He immediately insisted (more like demanded) that we needed new ducts as well as a new system. When I told him that we wanted a unit with a higher SEER rating for energy efficiency and lower electric bills, he dismissed my suggestion as if I was stupid for even asking about it. My guess is that they have some sort of deal with Goodman, because that is the brand that they forced on us. What was the grand total you ask? Over $20,000. And that was 8 years ago! Not only did they NOT replace all of the ducts (like they said they would) their installation was the most Mickey Mouse-looking trash I have ever seen. They must have put at least 5 pounds of mastic tape around the unit to try and seal it up and it still leaked cold air after a week of use. These are scam artists masquerading as professionals. Even after that ordeal was over, they would call us constantly, year after year, telling us we needed to pay for a tech to come out and service our system. Besides hosing off our compressor unit with our own garden hose, the only thing their tech ever did was aggressively try to sell us on more services. They never once opened up the unit to clean the coils. They never once topped off the coolant. They never even cleaned out the condensate pipe. 8 years later and I am paying the price with outrageous cooling bills, a leaky unit that is more mastic than air conditioner, and a clogged condensate line that I had to clean out myself (it took about 5 minutes once I had the right tool). Do not let these people into your home. There is a reason that you see so many one-star reviews among the four and five-star ones. Do not disregard those reviews (they are real people). This company will take advantage of anybody who is not particularly knowledgeable about HVAC. They are pushy and rude; they will try to sell you products and services that you do not need. They will continue to harass you with phone calls for years afterwards. Stay away. Stay far, far away.

STAY A WAY FROM THIS GUYS!…read more after they came 0n 06/30/2020 and installed my unit with out permit and several code violation and all headache if you read my previous reviews recently they filed a lawsuit with small claim court and telling court that I didn't pay them while I paid them In full after but when I notice their Job was faulty with several code violations and without pulling permit and after suffering in heat I disputed the payments and I was successful in getting $3000 back from my $5000 and they lied to the court and I filed counter suit to get my $5000 back because of their faulty job and not coming back to fix the issue after I filed a complaint with their bond and licensing, I told them if the Tech is coming alone is ok but if he wants to come with another guy they have to have a workers comp insurance which they lied to state and filed exemption which mean they don't have employees which they lied , they cheated worker comp insurance , they cheated the licensing and they cheated me and they cheated IRS by not registering their employees that came to my house to install the AC unit , they cheated IRS to avoid payrolls tax for their employees while they had two employees and victor installed my unit ! one more thing, when my process server went to serve them with my counter lawsuit he notice that they have no office and they work from Apartment , cheater is always a cheater be careful ! after I filed a complaint with licensing they deleted all pictures from their face book that shows they have employees installing AC unit in some houses Roof , they put some pictures that shows they do only repairs, isn't this consider hiding the facts that they have employees but they don't want to obtain proper insurance to cover their employees if they got injured , Zulema think she is smart , putting her head in the sand and think people and licensing and bond company and court and customers are stupid !
