I recently found this wedding venue in an article about "hidden gems" in SoCal and just had to see it in person. I am a wedding photographer and was surprised I hadn't heard of it before! As soon as I stepped on the grounds and was greeted by Wally I was convinced that this was indeed a "hidden gem." The lawn overlooking the Temecula hills is simply GORGEOUS, it is the kind of view that makes you want to get married over and over again. The opposite view is of the Morgan Estate, and it is equally stunning. The grounds are very well kept, every turn feels like you have been transported to another time and place. It's full of old-timey Southern Charm. Everything from the bridal suite, ceremony space, the reception lawn and groom airstream are a photographer's (and couples) dream! I am also happy to say that the customer service is top notch, I was helped by both Tiffany and Wally and was treated with the upmost care. I'm thrilled to recommend this venue to my clients!! Thank you so much for welcoming me Morgan Estate!!

We just got married here on October 10th, and we fell in love with this venue from the moment we saw it. Everyone went above and beyond on the day of our wedding to make sure everything was running smoothly. Tiffany is the venue coordinator, and she is every bit of amazing from the moment you first talk to her throughout your big day. My dad, family and guests gave raving reviews of her. Mr. Morgan is so sweet and hospitable. He and Mrs. Morgan are there hustling the whole day to make sure your day runs smoothly. I wish I can relive our wedding day over and over again. All our guests said it was the best and most gorgeous wedding they had ever been to. Thank you Tiffany, the Morgan's and all of the hard working staff. You guys are just the best!

However, be aware that the inside can get quite loud if live music is playing, so it might not be the most intimate place for conversations. The interior of the cave is beautifully designed, and it's a pleasant experience to sit among the wine barrels. The service was attentive and great, and we had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday there. There were several other birthday celebrations happening at the same time, adding to the lively atmosphere. If you're planning a large group, I strongly recommend making a reservation on OpenTable. They were very accommodating and quickly added our plus one to our group. If you call them and they don't pick up, they'll actually call you back, which is a great service. The food portions were generous, and I had to take half of my chicken sandwich home. The only unusual item on the menu was the calamari. It didn't resemble the typical circular calamari you'd expect; instead, it looked almost like fish sticks. It wasn't the best value for the price, so I wouldn't order it again. On the other hand, the burgers and tri-tip sandwich were amazing. Everyone in our group left feeling satisfied and full. The wine selection is quite impressive, with a tasting flight priced at $40. They also offer Margarita and sangria flights. I opted for a single glass of sangria, which was $17. While it was refreshing, I felt it could have benefited from more fruit and was not overly sweet. So, take what you like from it. Overall, the cave restaurant is a bit pricey, but it's a great option for a group outing. There's a distillery on-site, but it has a long wait if you don't make a reservation. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills of grapevines, and many people are taking photos. Parking is a bit of a hassle. You can park down the hill and take a complimentary golf cart up, or you can pay $10 for valet parking. Cash or card payments are accepted. The bathrooms are located outside the dining area. I would coming here again.

There is parking all the way up and lower spaces available with a staircase. We were greeted by the host who took note of our reservation, then walked us inside to be seated. The cave is sooo cool!!!!! We were seated in the back to the left, where there were many tables set for groups of 2 people. It looked like larger parties are seated to the right of the cave. Our server let us know that on Wednesdays they have a Date Night special for $100! So we ordered off that! One bottle of Sav. Blanc (dry, cold and delicious), 2 house salads (omg the best Italian dressing you'll ever have!!), then we each ordered our mains and shared the cannolis for dessert. Our server was attentive but also gave us lots of space to enjoy our special dinner. All the food was incredible and for $100, you can't beat it! Highly recommend and we will be back!

The bartender was genuinely friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We sat outside on a very hot day, but the cooling misters made it surprisingly comfortable and enjoyable. There was a light breeze, the sound of soft live music in the background, and a laid-back energy that made it easy to just sit back and unwind. The food was decent, and the Persian-inspired wine selection was a nice touch. The architecture is also beautiful, giving the space a unique and elegant character that stands out.

What they call the sweet red wines, which are actually not dessert wines, are pretty good, though I suspect too sweet for most. Most of their other reds are very dry, if that is your thing. I didn't care for them. The negatives: Dirt parking lot. Definite car wash after visiting. The wine tasting room and the restaurant are in the same room. It's very unbecoming of a place like this. Speaking of which, the MAJOR downer, which is why this gets a 3 star review, is its like they ran out of money when they got to the wine tasting room and restaurant, which for some reason were combined. The wine tasting room and restaurant are like a glorified high school cafe. It's completely inconsistent with the rest of the place. It took all the pleasure out of wine tasting - like drinking wine out of a coffee cup. The food was ok but not spectacular. The gyros were good, the caramel lava cake was awful. It was like taking a 6 pack of small funnel cakes from Ralph's and pouring liquid caramel purchased from another aisle down the center of it. Why not true Persian food, if you're going to give the place and half the wines a Persian name? And why not higher quality food? ------ It was a relative ghost town here on a Friday, and from there we went to Europa Village and it was completely packed. Totally different vibe that was electric. Made me realize even more why Fazeli was so underwhelming. Wish we would have eaten at Europa.

The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings! Towards the beginning they were undergoing a lot of changes within staff and it was difficult initially to contact them or get a response which was extremely frustrating. Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage it's such a beautiful moment I shared with my dad then with my husband. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Lake Oak Meadows is lucky to have someone like her that is so kind, reassuring, goes above and beyond expectations, and genuinely you can tell she loves what she does. Thank you to everyone who helped create our magical day sorry if I was a stressed wreck initially but you guys definitely delivered and made me look good because like I said I can't plan anything accordingly. To see how great it turned out you guys definitely know how to make everything feel perfect. 12.2.21

Visiting wineries is a fun way to spend a Sunday in Temecula, yet the only down side is that the majority of wineries close at 5pm. The Peltzer, however, is open a bit later and usually till 7pm. I have a very nice time here. The two wines I tried here were very good. The service was friendly and welcoming. I happened to love the vibe and decor here a bit more as it was not all restaurant orientated. I was told by a staff member that the only food was out of the food truck in front of the building. I ordered nachos and a quesadilla, the waited for 1 hour to get my food, I had ordered by 6pm. I did not get my food until 7:05pm. Two employees were running the food truck and only one was working on the orders. By the time my food was handed to me it was past the time to go. Post ordering I was given a buzzer and was told to stay near because if it went off and I wasn't close it might not buzz. All of my friends were in the member area of the winery so I opted to stay near the food truck. I did ask about my order, I asked for it to just be cancelled but was told that it was being worked on; one hour later I finally received the smallest most bare carne asada nachos and a small quesadilla.
