It's rare I write reviews but Theron Ward gave me above and beyond customer service. I purchased a Citizen watch from Morgan Jewelers decades ago. I had it in a drawer and it didn't charge for years. I brought it to him and he tried to fix it but it needed a new capacitor. He pointed me in the right direction. I had the capacitor replaced and a general maintenance done and the watch was good as new. Something that should be mentioned is some of these Citizen watches you have to know exactly what you're doing when changing functions and so forth. Theron was a wizard with this watch and knew exactly what he was doing. I took the watch to two other jewelers and they had absolutely no clue what they were doing with resetting it. A MUST READ! My experience with David and Morgan Jewelers. My sales rep that says he's an assistant manager is far from it. My experience with David the assistant manger is nothing but a liar and running shady deals on the side to people please his mistakes. Timeline: Mid March, my fiancé had went to Morgan Jewelers looking to purchase my wedding band. It was this day she met David. David came off as a trust worthy person that was looking to assist us as well make a sale. He mentioned to us that if we wait till April 22nd they will have their big annual sale. He mentioned the sale goes on every year and they take 50% off everything plus as he said, "if you spend more you save more" deal. So depending on the price, we could qualify for more discounts of either 10% to 20% additional on top of the 50%. Mid April, I personally went to the store to meet David after my fiancé mentioned about this awesome deal and to take a look at rings that I liked. David being very excited mentioned and confirmed the sale was going to happen on April 22nd. April 22nd around 4pm-6pm, came back with my fiancé seeing balloons and a busy store. We went looking for David. Once it was our turn to work with him he once again told us about the sale however it was different from what he told us a month ago. The sale was indeed spend more, save more ranging from 10%-20% however there was no 50% on top of the additional savings. After being very disappointed on waiting a month on a false sale as prices were not even close to what he has claimed. David then asked me walk with him out of store to tell me that he can have the store jeweler on the side make a perfect custom ring made out of white gold and yellow gold offset ring for the price of $700 cash! This is when all the shady deal erupted. David specifically said it had to be cash and we had to step outside of the store so the other employees and cameras would not witness the act or be traced. As a customer that just wants my wedding band, we went along with it as David assured us it will be okay. David said it will take a couple weeks and we will get the ring. May 14th, David texted me saying the ring is complete and to come in and take a look. Excited to see the ring we went to the Galleria Mall right away. When we arrived and looked at the ring, the ring had major flaws from bubbling holes from the mold, to gaps on the yellow gold insert to the ring not even rolling evenly as it had an oval shape. Told David this was unaccepted, told him what needed to be fixed and David apologized and sent the ring back to the maker and said it will be perfect. May 24th, David sent me a video of the ring being completed and to come in and see what I think. Excited again, left work and went to go see it. Once we arrived, David came to us and said he wanted us to see it but it wasnt perfect to his standard and wanted to send it back. Immediately I was upset and told David, why did you have us drive all the way here if you're not even happy with the ring. Mentioning to him that I own a business and having to come here makes me lose time and money!! David said, he wanted us to see it in person on why he was upset. The ring did look worse with further gaps between the yellow gold offset and the yellow gold not being in a straight line and being wavy. David sent it back and we left saying his guy will fix it and said, Dont worry, it will be fix and in fact dont think about it and I will let you know when it is done. Having zero confidence it will be done right I gave him another chance. June 16th, my text message to him, "Hey Dave, checking in and seeing what's going on with my ring?". David replied, "I was just talking to him Monday. Hey has began working on the new ring! I will check in with him again Friday to see where he is at " June 28th, David texted, "Just touching base with you and wanting to get a deadline on when you need it by exactly". My reply, "Hey Dave, a month ago lol our wedding is a ways out but we want it. What's happening now?". July 15th, Still no reply. read more

My fiance and I came here to search for his wedding band, and we got to work with Arnold, the store manager. Other Yelpers were right about him being an outstanding rep! The qualities I appreciated the most during our interactions at the store: he's personable, and he never made my fiance and I feel pressured. We found him extremely humorous, and he was agreeable in the fact that he made honest recommendations to my fiance about the different styles of wedding bands. Seriously appreciated the fact that he pointed out how much more feminine thin bands looked on men, and he made it known without insulting my fiance's taste. Thanks! The other stores didn't really have what we were looking for, so although this shop had a few titanium rings, they had enough variety to show us. Again, the customer service made us want to buy from them. We didn't get the ring right away 'cause it had to be special ordered - titanium is a material that can't usually be resized. In November 28, 2020 my husband purchased diamond loop earrings for my Xmas gift. The loops were over $3,000.00 and we did not take the warranty after we were told if anything is wrong with the earrings "not to worry, " we will take care of you. Within a week of putting on the earrings both ears got infected. I was in tremendous pain and the back of the earring was oozing with a liquid substance. I took the earrings back to Morgan and as we tried every conceivable solution including letting my doctor look at the holes. This went on for another 3 months. I wore threads in the holes for months wondering if the holes needed more time to heal. Throughout the entire time, we kept in contact with Arnold who assured us "not to worry," he is the manager and will help us. He promised us we will be able to return the earrings for credit or replace the loops with another item. After months and months of trying to wear the earrings on April 20th we took the earrings in and demanded either they get replaced or refund or give us the credit to get something else. Throughout the 5 months of going in and out of the store and texting along with frustration we could no longer go on with promises. We needed to get the issue resolved. This was Arnold's words, we didn't take out the warranty and the vendor they purchased the earrings from made these loops special and did not have any other items to trade. He did offer on April 20th to replace the area going into the hold of my ear with platinum. On May 1st, I picked up the loops and after 3 days my ear started burning, painful and oozing again. I had to take the loops off and now stuck with a piece of jewelry I will never be able to wear. Don't buy any items from this store on words of promises, get the warranty. You could be in the same predicament as me with worthless jewelry you will never be able to wear. We are extremely disappointed with the customer service. read more
