Came here for QueensFeast, which is the best menu value this year as it includes wine pairing w/each of the 4-courses! Plus, you get a delicious watermelon shooter w/mint cream palate cleanser! The property is just gorgeous w/actual vineyards, an expansive patio area and a little gazebo overlooking the pond. The dining area is open w/a little bar and a couple of hightop tables. Staff here are exceptional! They made it feel like I was visiting friends, yet were attentive and knowledgeable. Not only do they have a fabulous menu, but the wines were all pretty good as well! Plus, they offer beer flights from their brewery in Salisbury! Reservations are required for QueensFeast, but if you can't make it out for that, def check them out for a gorgeous afternoon of sunshine and wine (or beer)!

The grounds are absolutely lovely with a nice outdoor patio where you can enjoy the view. They serve some light bar food so you can get something to eat while out there which is great. The owner is a really great guy. What I did not enjoy was being hounded by strays while eating. There are these huge 100+lb dogs that roam around freely that walk right up to the table and stick their faces in your food which I found to be quite appalling. I couldn't enjoy my meal in peace as I constantly had to stand up and hold my plate above my head. That totally ruined the experience for me. We tried going inside thinking that would alleviate the issue and they followed us inside and one dog even jumped onto my friend's lap trying to get whatever she was eating out of her hand. Something really needs to be done about that. I ended leaving early I was sooo annoyed. I guess the dogs live there so nobody really cares but it's just not a good experience.

Good wines & friendly staff. We popped in on our way home after seeing them listed on line. Glad we did. The location is lovely even though it was a rainy day for us. Plenty of inside seating available. We did a 5 wine tasting & enjoyed all the dryer wines, but the reds were very good! With the tasting you get a stemless wine glass to keep. The tasting was a good pour so you could really taste the wine and figure out how you liked it. The staff is knowledgeable about the wines so can help you choose your five, and give you information about what you are tasting. Definitely worth popping in if you are in the area.

Just discovered this gem beautiful views and the food was perfection. Tried the wine and it was refreshing! Looking forward to going back and doing beer sampling and wine sampling! Felt like I went on vacation to another country.

An incomparable wine tasting experience! I visited using an Amazon deal for a wine tasting. The tasting session included a detailed tour of the winery including explanations of how the wine is made and it's history. I got to taste 13 of their wines + a cheese platter featured for the tour & a complimentary wine glass to take home. The winery itself is small & cozy. The atmosphere is close-knit and the staff was very welcoming. During my time at the winery I never felt rushed despite them being super busy. The indoor area has very homey feel and has only a few tables and bar. The outdoor area is very large and scenic with places for dining or to just relax. For the tasting & tour, the hosts were very knowledgeable & gave such detailed descriptions of each wine + provided a listed handout detailing the main features of each wine. The wines were so awesome that I ended up purchasing one of each of their featured reds & whites. I certainly plan to visit again.

I visited Morgan Ridge for a wine tasting, followed by lunch and a flight of their beer offerings. It was a good experience! I was visiting the area from the California wine country, which sets a pretty high bar for quality. I've learned to temper my expectations when it comes to NC wineries (not meaning to be insulting; it's a rather harder climate to grow wine grapes in), but I came away fairly impressed by the offerings here. The wines were solid and enjoyable - if I lived nearby, I could certainly see myself buying bottles regularly. Lunch was tasty. The large patio was a nice place to be on the comfortable and thankfully-not-quite-rainy day I visited. The beers were not of the sort I typically drink - I'm a hophead, and their offerings were on the other end of the spectrum - but they were well-brewed. i was surprised how much I liked the coconut cream ale - I'm not a big fan of coconut, and I would typically dismiss such a concoction as a 'novelty beer', but it worked! If you're not big on hops, their beer might suit you well.

If I could go back, I would not pick this venue for my wedding…read more My husband and I chose Dennis Vineyards for one reason above all others: we wanted a New Year's Eve wedding where we could celebrate ringing in the New Year with our family and friends at midnight. That was the vision for our wedding and the deciding factor in choosing this venue over others. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing like what we expected. When we arrived, the ceremony area, the backdrop for our vows and wedding photos, was not in the condition we expected. There were bird droppings on the gazebo roof, trash and debris in the pond, black streaks along the ceremony aisle, a quick/bad paint job over torn paint on the gazebo and dripped paint on the ground, and landscaping that appeared poorly maintained. The bridal suite also contained clumps of hair from previous occupants, and despite repeated attempts to find staff for help, the suite remained extremely cold throughout our entire time getting ready. When discussed with Cassie, the general manager of the venue, she said "well I had my wedding here in October and it looked this way too". So that means that they knew the venue was in this condition for months before the wedding and made no attempt to clean, repaint, or replace anything that was not in presentable condition. The most disappointing part of the evening was the early bar closing around 11:00 p.m despite what was communicated beforehand. Based on our communications with the venue beforehand, the New Year's Eve celebration was to continue through midnight. Instead, the last hour of our reception unfolded very differently than we had envisioned, and many guests left before midnight. When I discussed this with Cassie that evening, she stated they were closing the bar early because they had run out of some of the beers and wines they were serving. She then gave the remaining bottles of wine to members of my bridal party and advised us to do a fake sparkler send-off before taking anyone who wanted to continue celebrating to their bar across the street. However, when brought up later she stated that they closed the bar due to guest intoxication. That explanation is confusing to me because why did she give away bottles of wine and tell myself and the guests to go to the bar across the street? And then give us free champagne when we got there? The midnight celebration was the entire reason we booked a New Year's Eve wedding and overshadowed the last hour and a half of my wedding with stress and disappointment. What has been even more disappointing has been how these concerns were handled afterward. I reached out privately, documented my concerns, and spent months attempting to resolve everything professionally before writing this review. Rather than feeling heard, I felt that many of my concerns were dismissed or explained away. Instead of acknowledging how these issues affected our wedding day, much of the response focused on deflection and minimized the concerns rather than actually addressing the concerns I had raised about the venue itself. I waited months before posting this review because I wanted to give Dennis Vineyards every opportunity to address these concerns privately first. Unfortunately, those efforts did not lead to a resolution. I'm not writing this because I'm looking for sympathy. I'm writing it because if I had known this would be my experience, both on my wedding day and afterward, I would have chosen a different venue. You only get one wedding day. You can't recreate your ceremony, your reception, or your midnight New Year's countdown. Those moments are gone forever. Every couple deserves a venue that is prepared, communicates honestly, and takes responsibility when expectations are not met. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I sincerely hope other couples have a better experience than we did, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend Dennis Vineyards for such an important day.
