Definitely would avoid this place at ALL COST especially if you are looking for a job. The owner is absolutely disgusting with how she treats her employees. My 17 year old CHILD worked there for 2 1/2 days while she berated, talked down to and called my CHILD annoying for needing help even though she has NEVER stepped foot into a donut shop before let alone worked in one. My CHILD lasted 2 1/2 days before she walked out crying because of how the owner was speaking to her. Anything we asked about she just said she would have a price at check out for a single donut . Sounds like they're scamming certain customers. This is by far the worst establishment I have had the displeasure to work at for a whole 9 hours. I got hired on by this lady Jeannie who runs the place like a nazi and she didn't even had me fill out paperwork before I started working. She is the most disrespectful human being I have met. I walked out on my second day after being treated like garbage and not trained properly and belittled. I worked 9 hours and didn't get paid because she didn't get any of my information before I started working. Very sketchy the way things are done. I feel truly sorry for anyone who has to go thru what I did. She also will touch every single piece of ice in your cup with her bare hands I never saw her wash and touch your donut holes with her bare hands. I love that this place is open until noon during the week and 1p Saturday (not sure if that's Sunday, too?) but the place has a drive through if you need that service. Also, I love the cream filled in that you can pick which flavor: cream, strawberry, lemon or raspberry. I bought donuts at 11:45 a.m. on a Thursday and they were just as fresh! Morgan Donut has their fair share of specialty donuts too(Fruity Pebbles, etc) but what really distinguishes them is their BOMB simple original glazed donut - it's the best I've ever had. The texture of the glaze is the perfect mix between the runny glue that you get on your hands with Dunkin and the crunchy glaze from Krispy Kreme. And the dough is soft and just has something amazing in it(leaven?? idk). I've never taken more than 5 seconds to eat one. This is the best apple fritter I've ever had. The outside is fried crisp while the inside is fluffy with lots of apples throughout. The glaze soaked down into the crevices. Morgan Road is quite possibly the best donut shop in Oklahoma. The donuts they sell aren't topped with artisanal ingredients and they look pretty similar to other donut places in the area...and yet, there's something so deliciously simple about their glazed donuts that make me go, "How come no other donut shop makes donuts this good?" Morgan Road does something to their dough that makes it slightly sweet, slightly chewier, and so much tastier than their competition. Best long johns I've ever had. And if they're warm...bonus! Problem is, I live 2 miles away and I'm up to about 8-10 long johns a week. First off, the donuts are delicious. If you get one with filling, you get to choose what filling you want inside. As in they put the filling in right after you choose it. Their donut holes are the best I've ever had.Secondly, the prices are great. I feel like I'm ripping them off when I'm there. Finally, the service is amazing. If they're not swamped they'll get the door for you. One time when it was raining they even followed me to my car with an umbrella.
