I've worked with Danny and Joe Morgan for a couple of projects. These guys are a great team to work with, they make great efforts to get you what you want and at great value. They both work in stone and tile, however it seems that Danny is a little more on the tile side, and Joe handles the granite and other slabs. Danny is a people person - he has connections throughout the tile industry and pointed us towards people that could give us outstanding deals on tile. He also is an "idea man" he'll give you a bunch of options for what you can do - you just need to pick which one will work for you! Joe is very responsive, whenever we had an issue during our projects, (and there always are some - no matter what you do!) Joe immediately had someone take care them without hesitation - and that's really the best you can ask for in a contractor. There crews are clean and professional, always asking questions to make sure everything is ok. They showed up on time and on some occasions worked late to get the job done on schedule. Our first job was a bathroom our house and it included floor tile, shower tile, and glass and stone accent strips, backsplashes, and a bunch of limestone with fossils in it for the sink, shower and tub surround area. It was a high end work and turned out exactly as expected. Our second job was a complete remodel of one of our rentals - wood look tile flooring everywhere, slabs of quartz and granite in two bathrooms and the kitchen a couple of vanities and a desk area as well - also two full shower remodels - in this case we gave Danny and Joe the opportunity to find us materials that were great deals and let us check them out - they came through with fantastic options, digging up remnants and suppliers cancelled orders to get us a high end look on a "rental fix up' price. We have received many compliments on both jobs and are very happy with both - and it's been some time since these jobs were completed - their quality materials and installation have stood up to use! Next up - I'm working on a countertop/bar for my outdoor pizza oven/smoker area - Joe and Danny will be doing the counter tops. I have several more jobs on the someday list - a new kitchen at our house and whole other rental to renovate. So I guess the best recommendation is that I will continue to work with them for years to come! read more

Joe and his crew did an incredible job with our kitchen. He changed the center island from a 2-level to a 1-level, changed from tile countertop to a quartz, upgraded the kitchen wall with a backsplash we wanted. There was a lot of dust during the tear down of the old tile countertop. Good thing he enclosed the entire kitchen with zipwall to prevent dust from going to other areas of the house. I actually had our kitchen done by Joe 2 years ago and I'm only writing my review now. I wanted to see how well it was done and I honestly can say everything looks like it's still brand new. No problems whatsoever. My wife and I took months to find a contractor that have good reviews and very good price. We entertained 6 different contractors to come and look at our kitchen and gave us their lowest price. Joe got the job. I will definitely used Joe again and I highly recommend this guy. read more

Found Joe on yelp. He has been so easy and responsive. He answered my myriad of questions patiently and was flexible in coordinating with my kitchen cabinet installation changes. I chose a Cambria countertop and he and his crew did a beautiful job installing. Part of the reason we chose him was that he could do the backsplash as well as the counter and he was so helpful in figuring out how it would look. He made the process pretty easy. Morgan Tile & Stoneworks did a beautiful job installing our kitchen countertops! Joe was very helpful in explaining our options and making recommendations. He provided a competitive quote and works with a stoneyard that has a wide selection. We ended up selecting an LG quartz slab that has the look of Carrera marble--it is beautiful! Joe picked up the slab the same day he templated the counters. His estimate on material quantities were spot on and they had just enough material; very little waste. The fabrication and install was completed quickly. Joe warned us that we may end up with a seam on our bar top but, to our surprise, no seam! The minor seams necessary were minimized by locating them at the sink. Joe is very responsive and friendly. All around, it was a positive experience. I would recommend Joe, hands down! The local Tile Company in Anaheim, CA. gave us the phone number for Joe from Morgan Tile and Stoneworks, I called Joe and he stopped by our home and gave us an honest estimate. This local Tile Company (Stone Dock) helped us pick out a slab of granite and tile. We shopped around and picked out a new sink, drains, disposal and found a plumber to do the finish plumbing. From start to finish Joe and his crew were on time, professional and kept me informed and part of their work, we even shared a few jokes and talked about the 70s. The kitchen now looks like a model home, their work is outstanding. They let me be part of the renovation, watching them do the work and reinstalling the electrical covers. Two pieces of slab were used and Joe made sure the seam is invisible, nice job! Joe has a TV monitor at the tile company were you can view his work, check out our new kitchen. I wish I knew who Joe was because he sounds great, but stay clear away from his brother Danny Morgan and his so-called contractor called ARMANDO. Armando's workers (painters) are the WORST painters I have ever had to deal with. What a disgrace and embarrassment. They did the worst job on my new house that I've ever seen. Casing are uneven, they didn't sand any of the doors, they simply took a paint roller or sprayer and did a crappy job. They stole things from my home, they damaged things, what a nightmare it's been. The only positive thing about my experience is that I like my floors but the overall project was a COMPLETE DISASTER FROM START to FINISH....oh wait, they didn't finish because they completely ABANDONED me and the project. I was left with an un-finished job and I had to re-hire a contractor to finish and clean up the mess they left; not to mention FIX everything they messed up. Measurements were off when Danny measured for the tile, so I had to go with two different colors and patterns for my home. He measured the master vanity wrong and then completely LIED about it and wouldn't take responsibility for until it got heated between all parties. I could go on and on and on......Sure he gives you 'great' price, but remember what mom always told us..."You get what you pay for". Limited communication, delivery was horrific and the fact that they abandoned the job was completely unacceptable to me. Bad install., Tiles lifted, subway tile in my kitchen not even and sloppy install job in some areas. I wish I could post photos to show you. I emailed Danny three weeks ago today asking him to please finish the job so that I could move into my home. I had the moving truck ready to go, just needed the home completed, and to this day NO RESPONSE. They made the experience a total nightmare. Danny comes off as this care-free "Christian" guy but he's 100% unethical and just lied to me - straight face multiple times. I think he showed up to my home to "inspect" the project MAYBE twice and that was because I asked him to please come. They left my house a complete wreck. The flooring people were doing their sanding/sawing INSIDE my house. WHO DOES THAT? I would stay clear away from this company. I'm open to anyone calling or emailing me if you have any questions. read more

We are very pleased with Joe Morgan's work with our countertops. We had them install countertops for 2 bathrooms, and a very complicated kitchen..complete with a wraparound countertop (kitchen in front, butlers kitchen on the back side) and also a waterfall edge on the island where it is open on one side. Most of the fabricators we talked to had no idea how to support the waterfall edge without a cabinet to hold it up but Joe said it was no problem, he's done a bunch of them before and he got it done. At one point, there was a mess up where we couldn't use one of our slabs but Joe fixed the problem right away by getting us another slab out of his own pocket and having the guys out there to re-do it. read more

I rarely write reviews, but wanted to add our wonderful experience with Joe from start to finish.   The first interaction we had with Joe was about a year ago, but then for various reasons our kitchen remodel fell behind schedule . And I called Joe again .Each time, Joe was very understanding and flexible.  He took many photos and all sorts of detailed notes.  He obviously knew what he was doing and we were very impressed with his level of detail.the whole projects included kitchen countertop,backsplash, fireplace, laundry and powder room. Before the installation, Joe spent a lot of time carefully taking all sorts of measurements and creating actual physical templates out of pieces of wood. And Joe had great patience working with me for several options of design. His installation crew was neat, professional. They cut the quartzite in a very fine and discrete way. The team of four people lifted the heavy quartzite many times to make sure the fit was perfect. His crew were also very polite, meticulous about their work, and very clean and careful. I loved these people!  My new counters, backsplash , fireplace are beautiful and expertly installed! Throughout the process, Joe always responded to my emails or phone call/messages on timely manner and resolved any questions or issues . He was extremely professional and just a really nice guy.  His customer service was excellent and their prices are reasonable. We found Joe Morgan via yelp and his website when I was looking for a fabricator. Since his shop was very close to my house, I felt that was an advantage. We had a couple challenging things to deal with including wanting our large eating bar to be self-supported if possible with no pillars to the ground. His team fabricated steel reinforcements into the plywood substrate for the counters. I can't be happier with what Joe and his team did to both our kitchen and Fireplace. For the Fireplace he used the leftover slab from the kitchen, and some scrap dark silestone to completely transform an old brick fireplace to a beautiful formal fireplace. I'll upload pictures for those when our new firedoors come. Good communication and a willingness to work with us to develop our vision showed through the project and we're sure we've now got our forever kitchen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe for any job. He was very upfront with his pricing and broke everything out. Contacted this company and Joe came out on Sept 21, 2015 for an estimate for home reno. Measurements were taken and was told that he would get back with a quote in a few days. This will be my official best review on yelp. I read the other yelp reviews and wished there were more reviews to go on, but given the great reviews and 5 star rating I decided to pursue anyway. Joe is extremely experienced with tile and stone and was completely involved in the process. He was easy to get in touch with and responded immediately, he made us feel like an important customer even though we were getting a smallish project done and we chose a lower priced material. He worked to make things affordable and we were impressed with his quotes and especially the fact that when I asked about adding an overhang he didn't even add to the price and said he could make it work with the material included. We ended up going with the arctic white quartz for our kitchen counters and he was totally cool when we decided to wait on the island install, for our reno funds to rebuild. He is just totally cool about everything and flexible and good natured and great to talk with. The craziest part is that I called him on Monday morning of this week and we were desperate to have the install this week if possible and guess what? We've been sitting in our kitchen this evening (Thursday) staring at our gorgeous gorgeous counters! Amazing! Which leads me to the workmanship and quality of the counters. I mean, it's incredible! They did this gorgeous blend from a narrow bank of cupboards to a standard depth, it is like artwork. And we chose to go with prefabs which are more affordable, and the joins/seams are blended to perfection. It's just seriously that impressive and the fact that it's done on a totally white surface and blends so well is awesome. The under mount sink cut is perfect. I will try to get photos on here once the rest of our kitchen is finished because the counter top photo that another yelp reviewer posted let me see an example of the beauty in the work by Joe and Julio and everyone involved. It was so simple and a smooth process (and actually fun which is not what you'd expect renovating) to work with Joe and his team. And the fact that Joe was around every step of the way gave such a feeling of continuity, it just made it feel like the company is invested in the project and cares and there was no risk of miscommunication. From the get go Joe was in measuring and then working with the weird issues in our kitchen and on the phone with his team to make sure every odd curve in our walls or cabinets was worked into the plans. He brought the color sample to double check the morning of to make sure it was exactly what we wanted because he wanted us to be 100% happy - and we are! Sorry this is getting long to read, but honestly we highly recommend you call Joe and you will receive excellent communication, attention to detail, a great team of skilled installers and genuinely nice people helping upgrade your home. I hired Joe based on reviews on Yelp, and then meeting him and getting my estimate. Everything positive I read was also my experience. He was very patient and easy to talk to, he was extremely accommodating (when my project got delayed by someone else), and my favorite: he always came when he said he would! I even changed my mind about a trim I had chosen, and that he had installed, and he helped me pick a different one and installed it without making me feel bad. I also liked that he was patient when I didn't know a thing about granite edges, the size I wanted, etc., and he explained and showed examples of my choices. And, he only gave his opinion when I asked, not forcing me to do "his way" or the easy way on anything. Joe did granite in the kitchen and powder room, as well as backsplash and trim in both. Others flaked out etc. Then Memorial day weekend I was googling around and I thought it would be nice if there was a Good Local reasonable quality guy I could use and then his web site popped up. I called him on a Sunday and was surprised he picked up. I told him I didn't want to bug him on a Sunday but I was interested in getting an estimate. From there on it was great working with him. He was very professional and always followed through with his word. His price was very reasonable. He took his time with us and stopped by several times to assess the situation. We were looking to have somebody retile our bathroom shower stall and floor. Joe and his team were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They showed up when they said they were going to, clearly knew what they were doing, did a first class job, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. Joe was also helpful in the process of choosing the tiles initially, and gave us a few good tips on where to source other things we need to complete the project. He's also well-connected - when the distributor was out of a small tile we needed for the shower floor, he made a few calls and located the matching tiles somehow. Carlos and Juan (the installation team) are polite, pleasant, and careful in their treatment of other parts of the house. I found Joe through his excellent Yelp reviews. I'm glad I did because he did a lot of work in my condo rehab and was wonderful to work with. First, he laid a tile floor in the kitchen, two bathrooms and the living room. It turned out so well that when I found out he does countertops as well, I decided to use him for the granite work as well. He suggested the slab yard where I found beautiful granite at a huge discount because the slabs had cracks along the side. I called Joe and the next day he went to look at the slabs to see if he could work around the cracks. When he told me he could work with the slabs, I bought them and Joe picked them up. A little over a week later, Joe had installed counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, and used the extra granite to face the fireplace. They turned out so well and I couldn't be happier. Joe does what he says, meets you when he says he will, doesn't give you any excuses for delay because he gets the job done, and he is a pleasure to work with. BE WARNED. My experience with Joe was a bad one. He was recommended by the contractor who was preparing my office space. He assigned the installation to his brother and an assistant. The assistant was to pick up my paid for order of travertine at the supplier daily and bring it the office site for that day's work to install. Since I purchased and owned it before hiring Joe, any extra tile was to be left with me for repair and replacement. The last day the assistant claimed the tile at the supplier's office and disappeared with it. There was a DUI and vehicle impound involved. In order to complete the job, Joe purchased more tile and billed me for it. My tile was never found, returned, or compensated for. It was a full palette valued at over $600. While Joe Morgan admitted in writing that he was liable for my loss, he failed to make good on his commitment. He cried that he had been misused by an employee, but never made good to me, his customer. Morgan Tile and Stoneworks stole a full palette of tile from me, failed to make restitution on its liability, and has consistently avoided any effort to remedy the situation. I even offered to accept a series of payments to help offset the hit to his revenue. Joe has failed in his fiduciary responsibility. He had several options available to make this right, including filing an insurance claim, but he has done nothing. He no longer responds to any contact. read more
