Ordered online some gluten free treats for a friend. Popped in the fuchsia pink bakery to pick them up and "wow." First of all the smell was mesmerizing! I wish I could bottle it or somehow attach it to this review. She caters to people with food allergies- gluten, dairy, soy and nuts! And it's all delicious! No one knew my wedding cake was gluten free! As a gluten free bride, I wanted to make sure I could enjoy my own wedding cake, not a special-only-for-me sweet at the end of the night, my *actual* wedding cake. It turned out even more beautiful than I imagined! Service was another level; Morgana came to the venue and iced the cake on the serving table to make sure it was perfect and not damaged in transit. And it was so delicious! The fact that she is a local baker where I live near Kansas City means I can order a smaller version of my wedding cake for each anniversary and that makes me so happy! Also, I am specifically addicted to her cupcakes, croissants, and focaccia bread. It's dangerous to my waistline to walk into her bakery. Lol! I am sitting in a boardroom in Phoenix right now enjoying some cookies brought to me from Morgana's in Kansas City as a gift. I would not have guessed these were gluten-free when I first tasted them - they're amazing! The croissant and cinnamon role I had earlier, too. I stopped in on a whim. I had some business to take care of in Raytown. As I'm not normally and that part of Kansas City, I didn't know the bakery was there. The store is clean and very nicely decorated. Everything in the case looks amazing and a staff is very friendly, and helpful. I got a vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing. SO good! There is a small seating area so I was able to sit and enjoy my cupcake. Another customer asked about dairy-free options and I was happy to learn the cupcakes are dairy free and they can ice a cupcake with dairy-free icing upon request. Very good experience. My daughter has celiac and can't have gluten. She had a baby shower and Morgana's made a beautiful cake that looked exactly like the picture. Everyone raved about the cake. It was a delicious lemon cake with raspberry filling. Other gluten free bakers just offered vanilla or chocolate. I highly recommend Morgana's. Will definitely use again. read more

Finally a Gluten Free bakery. Fabulous goodies. She bakes cakes, cupcakes, cookie, pie, bread and hot rolls. I had peanut butter cookies like my mother use to make. This is a bakery anyone would love it just happens to be gluten free. Almost bought a delicious looking red velvet cupcake real red velvet. Not chocolate with red food coloring. Ordered a wedding cake for daughters wedding. Ordered a 3 tier cake with buttercream. Cake came not as ordered. She took this upon herself to use fondant on all 3 layers. Bride does not like fondant at all. Cake came with waterspots. Cracks in the fondant. Looks as of it was done by a child. Used ribbon to cover the mistakes on the fondant. Again not as ordered. Cake was supposed to be navy blue on bottom. Marble in middle. And naked pink on top. Pics below as what we received. read more

Well this rating is based on what I saw there as I want able to get anything. As someone with many food allergies, I was excited to try this place out. Unfortunately, arrowroot is in nearly every item, which is a high allergic reaction for me. They have an entire binder with every ingredient used in every item and the people who worked there were knowledgeable and helpful. I will be going back to get some oatmeal bars that are compliant with my diet. read more

I had been so excited to try this bakery, but the hours are so weird that it was hard for me to get there. $20 later, I had 4 GF cupcakes, and I was SO excited...until I tried them. The strawberry cupcake had a gummy, gluey texture, and you could tell that they had all been frozen. Just not worth my money, I could def do better GF baked goods at home. read more

I've been to this Bakery a couple of times now. I really hate to leave a negative review but the treats just aren't very good. The first time, we ended up throwing out everything because it was just very odd, tasteless...just not good. Twenty some dollars plus a 30 min drive each way. The second time - many months later - had a credit so decided to give it another try. We had a houseful of Company coming so thought it would be great to have a variety of allergen friendly treats to offer. The Guests did not care for these treats. In all honesty, one can make better baked goods from the gluten free boxed mixes at the grocery store! And. The items are expensive especially considering the quality. I'm used to spending a lot on Gluten Free but these were extra pricey considering they're smaller than comparable gf items at other shops. On a positive note, the Staff was VERY welcoming and friendly hence the 3 stars (if not for that they'd be getting even fewer stars). I truly wish i could write a five star review for this bakery but I just can't - its just not very good. read more

Honestly one of the best gluten free bakeries I know of, right in the center of lovely Raytown, Missouri too. The Peanut Butter Chocolate cupcake is to die for, and the owner, Morgana, is always there with a smile to answer any questions you may have. It was just o.k. I purchased a mini fruit pie and a few different flavored cupcakes. The cupcakes were dry. I understand that Gluten-free it is harder to make a moist cake consistency, but a gluten-free bakery should be able to achieve this. It was very over priced, even for Gf. The owner was friendly, but sadly I'm not seeing this shop succeeding unless some recipes are modified and some daily specials are made available. I also questioned the freshness of the items in the bakery case. The older baked goods should be tossed or sold at a reduced price. I don't want to pay ridiculous prices for items that aren't freshly baked. Bottom line - changes need to be made and soon or the first time customers will be last time customers like me. read more
