    Sugar cookies

My friend said I should try this place for lunch sometime. Went by for a quick lunch and had their chicken Caesar wrap and it was delicious! Homemade dressing and I the chicken was cooked perfectly. Afterwards I grabbed 4 cookies to take home. They had Taylor swift cookies along with western themed ones too. These cookies are by far best sugars I have had. Dare I say better than my Moms? Highly recommend this place for lunch or cookies for special occasions.

Food - consistently delicious. Service - great and quick order brought to table/carry out. Ambience - quaint small local bakery with a smorgasbord of tasty treats, cookies, tarts, cakes, brownies and more. Hadn't been here for a while, (had to ween myself off their cookies), saw the ultimate BLT on the menu, and gazpacho, had to try them. Gazpacho being a cold soup was perfect on a 90 F day, tasty, great texture and not too tomato-y. Ultimate BLT - perfect, fresh tomato slices, crunchy lettuce, 6 pieces of their awesome bacon, and ability to set your own level of mayo at the table. To top it off, it comes with their in-house made sourdough! Their grilled cheese with bacon (and other variations ) are great, their chicken noodle soup is great too!

We drove down from Liberty to try out the new biscuits and gravy flight. The different gravy flavors were all good. The biscuits were incredibly good. They were tall and flaky. The staff was super friendly and they asked us for our feedback. The decor is super cute. They have a super nice outside patio area. We had a lot of leftovers.

I tried out Best Regards based on rave reviews from another Elite, and while the bakery items are great, the food items left a lot to be desired. Honestly, I think the photos speak for themselves here. Every item tasted as good as it looked--the Cream Puff was amazing (fresh, pillowy, creamy on the inside and delicately crispy on the outside), the Turkey Avocado Tomato Sandwich tasted like what my dad would cook when my mom was out of town (heartfelt but bland and dry, sorry Dad), and the Avocado Toast tasted like old avocados and black pepper. Some of the other items posted on this page look great, but it's hard to tell what you can order because of the menu situation. The menu is spread across three or four different locations when you walk in. There's a digital board above the register, then the display cases, then a sheet of paper in front of the register that shows some sandwich options (not including many of the ones posted here), and there's another sheet of paper tacked to the side of a display case that lists the virtual salad bar ingredients you can choose from. Between the odd ordering situation, the steep prices, and the quality of the food items, I'd recommend coming here to pick up some pastries and skipping the rest.

Pick 2 with Chicken Salad Sandwich and Signature Salad

Not sure why I haven't eaten here in all the years I've worked at Sprint Campus and lived in the area but some coworkers and I decided to go for lunch here the other day and I cannot wait to go back. We got there around 11:45 to beat the rush. There was some disruptive construction in the parking lot when we first arrived but fortunately they went on their lunch break at noon. We took in the yummy looking desserts and put in our orders at the counter. I got the pick 2 with a chicken salad sandwich and the signature salad. I also picked up one of their famous cranberry orange cookies. My two colleagues ended up getting the prepared pick 2 lunch boxes. I was a little worried since they had to make mine fresh and that I'd be waiting while my colleagues ate but my food came out from the kitchen as they were just unwrapping all their lunch parts. I'm a freak for chicken salad and this one was one of the best ones I've had in ages. And the focaccia was still warm. My colleagues were saying that they wished the focaccia in their sandwiches were warm, but the boxes came straight from the cooler. The salad was also super tasty. And the portion was PERFECT for lunch. My colleagues' boxed lunches came with a sandwich, salad and a small sugar cookie. They really enjoyed theirs too. And now to the cookie, which I took with for an afternoon snack. HOLY COW! It was incredible. So citrusy and a beautiful texture. I also love that they use fresh cranberries, rather than craisins. Adds a lovely juicy texture to the already soft cookie. Can't recommend enough! For folks who haven't gone, there's maybe 10 tables and only 2 for more than 4 people so keep that in mind if you are looking to dine in.

I asked for the cinnamon roll with the most frosting and she brought this masterpiece to my table!!!!

Inspired Play Cafe always has nicer wooden Montessori type of toys and learning games. I have typically gone to the Merriam location as it is closer but they are just going to have this location remain open. The owner is very nice and welcoming and she is updating and always rotating items for it to remain fresh for clients. They also have new and cheaper monthly fee which is a great deal. It is a nice atmosphere but they do need to remember to keep the music playlist playing as it is nice to relax to. The only reason I gave this location a 4 was because when I first entered the play area it was a complete disaster. There were only 2 parents at the time but they never picked up after their kids and it was hard to find matching toy items as they were everywhere. This is not typical of the Merriam location so it's probably just an issue today. They might want to suggest to parents to pick up after their child once they leave a specific area. I ended up picking the place up because the parents left and then it was more obvious to my grandson and other kids that came what toys there were available in each area.

Now, this isn't my first time at this First Watch and I'm not sure what's changed but we almost didn't come here because we couldn't jump on a waitlist before arriving and in the past when I've found myself here there is often a long wait. Our party of eight just waltzed right in on a Sunday around 10am which was truly shocking to me. I'm not complaining, I'm just surprised! So, if you have a large group and are dreading finding a spot this might be the one for you. Now onto the food. Like other First Watch locations I've visited in the past two years or so, the food quality has really gone up. I used to think of First Watch as being kind of basic - terrible coffee, just generic brunch food, but now I think their menu has really focused on fresh ingredients and you can find some healthier options that still pack some good flavor. I'm still nervous to try their drip coffee so I can't speak to that, but I did see that they must now have an espresso machine as they offer a much wider array of coffee options. So in essence, I've surprised myself with my newfound love for breakfast here. Finally, I'll add that it's still fairly affordable, so all in all not a bad spot for a weekend brunch with your family.

They absolutely have the processes of this little restaurant honed to perfection, and even during a busy lunch time kept things humming so that there was minimal wait time (to order, for the food to be brought out, and to pay for our meal). Many, MANY thanks to Robert, who seated us, took our order, brought our food out, and settled our bill. He was friendly, efficient, and so welcoming. It was a joy to watch him work; he made sure to greet each and every customer coming in the door, and was consistently so upbeat and positive. And many, MANY thanks to Tony at the grill! Our food was FANTASTIC!! I have high standards for Mediterranean food, and the falafel wrap was totally delicious! The falafel itself was perfectly cooked, with a crispy outer layer, and the other ingredients in the wrap were chosen for a perfect melding of flavors. I had the side salad, with homemade Thai peanut dressing, and it was equally tasty. My husband had the patty melt, which came on homemade bread (!) and was, per his report, perfectly done. His side was tater tots, and we shared them. They were crisp and light without being greasy, and addictively yummy! The restaurant is in a strip center; it's not very big, but the tables are well placed so that no one feels cramped. The open reception area and kitchen/grill make it easy for the staff to respond to what's happening in the dining room (e.g., new folks arriving). It was a truly memorable meal, and we'll definitely be back! Again, MANY thanks to Robert and Tony for such a great lunch. We appreciate you!

They even have an event space that would be perfect for private parties, movie nights, or game-day watch parties. The menu is incredible and full of flavor. The food was delicious across the board, but some favorites were the brand-new Mandi (a huge, shareable dish packed with flavor), their tacos with a fun twist (paneer, beef, and chicken--all winners), the Butter Chicken Wrap (a must-try for butter chicken fans), and the refreshing Dahi Puri. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. This place is definitely worth checking out, and I'm already excited to come back and try more from their menu. Disclaimer: My love language is halal food. If that made you laugh, we're off to a great start. Now…read morethat we've cleared that up, let's get to the meat and potatoes -- or in this case, chicken and rice. (Don't worry, we'll circle back to the actual meat and potatoes later.) I ordered a large Mango Lassi. It was delicious -- creamy, sweet, and refreshing -- but calling it "large" might be a slight exaggeration. Still, flavor-wise, no complaints. The real reason I chose this restaurant was the Chicken Rice Platter, and to say it delivered would be an understatement. There's a spot in Houston I used to visit just for this exact dish, and this version absolutely blew it out of the park. A solid 10/10. The chicken tasted like it was rotisserie-style, with a beautifully seasoned crust on the outside and juicy, tender white meat inside. It's served over fragrant yellow rice, topped with a rich white sauce, and paired with a fresh cucumber salad on the side. Hands down, my favorite dish of the night. Next up was the Beef Nihari, served with naan and yellow rice, along with the Karachi Chicken Biryani. The Beef Nihari is a thick, deeply seasoned beef stew with generous chunks of fall-apart tender meat. It's hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor. The warm, fluffy, pillowy naan was perfect for soaking up that rich broth. Paired with yellow rice, it makes for a seriously satisfying meal. (Side note: it is oily -- which is traditional and expected -- just a friendly heads up.) The Karachi Chicken Biryani was beautifully spiced, aromatic, and fluffy. Tender chicken thighs and drumsticks were nestled into the rice alongside hearty chunks of potato -- told you we'd get to the meat and potatoes. It has a noticeable kick, but nothing overwhelming. Just bold, well-balanced spice. To finish, I had a large Lemon Mint Virgin Mojito. Extremely refreshing -- crisp citrus and minty cool -- but again, "European large" might be the more accurate description. I placed this as a carry-out order and made the commute to pick it up. The restaurant is located in Overland Park in an area that seems to have several similar establishments, at least from my perspective. Once inside the double doors, you're welcomed into a fairly modern dining space with seating for couples and larger groups, plus a private dining area. There appeared to be a buffet set up -- possibly for Iftar -- which is a thoughtful and convenient touch. I also appreciated the designated prayer area, which was a wonderful detail to see. The host was friendly, and my food was ready in a timely manner. Overall, I was genuinely impressed. Flavor, atmosphere, hospitality -- all on point. Definitely check it out for yourself.
