They will tell you they can bill your insurance directly, that will be a lie. They will tell you…read morethat they won't charge storage fees because you will be out of town, that will be a lie. They'll refuse to let you settle the bill before you leave town so that they can then decide you have to pick it up before 4pm, in the middle of your trip or they threaten to tack on fees and refuse any card payments over the phone to have another tow company pick it up -- all because you asked for an itemized receipt (which they refused to give, only giving the total amount) So then you'll send someone to pick it up, only for them to then lie and say they told you cash only upon them getting there -- they didn't and it should've been billed to insurance like they said it would BEFORE the tow. Overall just a very dishonest company. I'm paying for a service NOT an attitude and extortion.

Two weeks later I took the car to my mechanic at home in southern WV and he told me the belt needed changed. I told him it was changed a couple weeks ago and he told me there is no way it was changed. I went back to Joe Moore's and they didn't remember me. I asked the guy behind the desk to look at my belt and see if it needed changed...he said yes it looks worn. I showed him the receipt where they said they put a new one on two weeks ago and he changed his tune to "well it might not be that bad its just worn on the outside from the pulleys....". Never had a repair shop so blatantly lie to my face!!

Shady business practices! Stay away! We test drove a Traverse, got the numbers for the new car and…read morethe trade in. We agreed it was a good deal so we shook hands, all signed contracts and all signed the paperwork. After two hours of being there, they said that there was a mistake and then they changed the entire deal. Tried to charge us $9,000 more than what our signed contract agreed to. Textbook bait and switch. They could have cared less that they wasted three hours of our time. Also, where I come from a handshake, a singed contract and someone's word means something. I can tell you for a fact that it doesn't mean anything here. Buyers beware!
