This one has layers. Please, do not trust this shop…read more Please, do not allow this shop to do any work in your vehicle that doesn't involve tires. ASE Certified mechanic here... A year ago, they could not properly perform an alignment on my vehicle and told me I needed to have extra hardware installed which required over $300 in work. I took it to a trusted friend at Kress Tire in Pittsburgh and they aligned it just fine. Thought, alright, just a young mechanic's mistake, took an experienced fella to get it done right. Took it back later to have my vehicle inspected, I received a vehicle that was in fact inspected, but with a quote that "your exhaust has a slight leak and we will pass it this time, but will cost about $1,800 to repair next time" to which I rolled my eyes. I later took it to Deep Hollow in Albright, and the honest mechanic repaired it in an hour, very fine work for less than $200. It gets worse. Had the A/C refilled at Deep Hollow (my now trusted shop) But the pump had previous issues, and now required replacement. Shop didn't have time to fit me in before I leave for my road trip, so I tried Tire Lame again (not a typo) figuring hey, they can't strike out a third time, right? Right? Handed a very specific work order to only replace the A/C compressor. Quoted me $500 to replace my compressor. I brought the vehicle in, they then increased the quote to $800, to which I refused. Time to pick the vehicle up. I received the vehicle with no cruise control response (I am disabled in my right leg and always use CC) When I returned home, I traced the vacuum lines to find the careless mechanic had broken a nipple to the vacuum line just above the high pressure nipple for the A/C system and neglected to repair it afterward. Not to mention fully disconnecting the CC linkage on the throttle. That's not the worst. I delivered the vehicle with a full tank of gas, I picked it up an 1/8 under, with my dash cam wires disconnected. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO WORK ON YOUR VEHICLES. I've never seen such negligence. The only reason and the ONLY reason they get two stars, is they have good prices on tires. And the quality of tires has yet to be proven. Maybe I'll come back and rant about that too. If you made it this far, call someone else. You've obviously had your doubts. DM me if you want the video showing the post-pickup video of the issues they left me with and the repairs that I'll never get the time back for. I called them and I spoke with Si. He told me to bring my car over and they would fit me in. They let me wait in the waiting room with 2 smalls dogs. They had me in and out with in an hour. Si was so nice and made me feel reassured that I was safe to get back on the road. I highly recommend this place!

When he picked his car up it had two deep scratches on the front quarter panel. Not like it was hit or ran into something but deep scratches that are very visible because they are white in a black car. They didn't do a tire rotation but just an alignment ?!?!? What tire place would do just an alignment without a tire rotation that was scheduled. when he went back the next day to complain they walked away FROM him without a word. RUDE AND INCOMPETENT! The front passenger side tire is almost completely flat. Add air to it, and sprayed w/soapy water to see where the leak was coming from. It was a two small punctures in the side wall of the tire, not even 3 cmm apart in the area of the tire brand name, this was not in an area that couldn't been ran over whilst driving home. Gwynn was already closed by this point & was also not opened Sunday. Come Monday morning when he takes the tire back to have it replaced because it was clearly a defective tire, they wanted to charge him another $75 to replace this tire! Guy he dealt with could've gave not one crap in fact, after my husband tried to argue his case, this person said that "for all I know you could've pinched the tire anytime between leaving and today" Like what the literal he!!?? Who pays a total of $750 for four tires, taxes & whatever else is included just to turn around and sabotage one of said tires??? This being close to Xmas as is, we couldn't afford to just drop another $75 on a tire, so put an inside patch and came home. The point of this review is to warn anyone that if you think companies like this have any type of respect for you as a customer, think again.

I dropped my car off there after an accident a month and a half ago. They put me in a "loaner car" from them (which had the check engine and tire pressure lights on when I got it) and was told it would be done by the beginning of the next week. I called the next Wednesday and was told it would be done the following Monday. I called Monday and no one could give me an answer as to when it would be done and they would call me that afternoon with an update. No one called. I called back and they said they should be calling that night to let know. Still no call. Because I had zero faith in them to call, let alone give me an actual answer, I walked in the next morning where all they told me was that the paint was done and they had to reassemble then he started to walk away where I had to press the conversation to get an answer for when it would actually be done. He has told me by the end of the week. I still don't have my car back, but I can assure you I will be telling everyone not to go here. It's not even about how long it taking to actually get the car done, it is the customer service and the lying. I cannot wait to pick up my car and NEVER go back.

My family and I were travelling to the midwest for the Fourth of July holiday weekend and we had…read morethe misfortune of breaking down along the way - the transmission in our minivan decided to malfunction. The next exit from I-79 was Waynesburg, PA. We found a muffler shop that was still open and the technicians there looked over the minivan and explained to us that our transmission had failed, confirming our suspicions. Since this place did not work on transmissions, the manager there recommended Chuck's Collision, and after a phone conversation with Chuck's we took our minivan there for service. Chuck, the owner, spoke personally with me and was a straight shooter. He got right down to business and confirmed that our transmission was done, with the same explanations the muffler shop had given us. He gave us best case/worst case scenarios in terms of when the van would be ready and explained exactly what would need to be done. He did not sugar-coat the situation - transmission work is inherently expensive and he was honest about the expense. He was also honest about the time frame - this was a holiday weekend and it would take time to get parts, and once the part came in this would be a big job that would take more than a day. We left the minivan, rented another vehicle and continued to the midwest, returning the following week. By the way, Chuck looks a lot like Jeremy Renner. Knowing we were travelling and that we needed our minivan, the technicians went above and beyond for us to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. One of the technicians even explained to my wife exactly what had happened with our minivan's transmission, complete with a very clear diagram and he took the time to explain it to her sufficiently that she was able to explain it to me. Our regular mechanic once told me that the transmissions in our particular minivan were the weak spot in the vehicle, but Chuck's technician actually made clear why this is the case. Though we came to Chuck's under unfavorable circumstances, we are quite pleased with the overall experience. We were treated with professionalism, everyone was very patient and very nice, and they got us up and running and back on the road again reasonably quickly. Working with Chuck's was a positive experience (well, as positive as an expensive emergency auto repair could be) and I would choose to work with them again if put in the same position again.

On the 19th of October received a call saying tires had arrived and confirmed appointment. Arrived on the 24th to be told "sorry we sold your tires and have to reorder them, when would you like to reschedule?" You lost a repeat customer, I don't have time for this kind of operation. Now I go to Glotfelty which had the tires in stock and installed them with out an appointment on Saturday. I would highly recommend shopping around! Glotfelty in Oakland Maryland
