We found Moringa via Yelp and could not have been happier with the experience. While the outside is simple the inside of the restaurant is quite nice. The owner was very helpful picking out gluten free options and answering questions. The food was absolutely delicious! She loved her butter chicken and I enjoyed my Palak (Saag) Paneer and naan very much. Moringa is well worth it. They have great food with polite and helpful staff. This is officially our go-to spot when we want a full-on punch of real Indian flavor. As someone from South India, it is rare to find food that actually tastes like home--but this place nails it. The kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod. The space is small and simple--people are here for one reason only: serious, no-nonsense deliciousness. Alex, Siva, and the team are fantastic--super welcoming and always happy to guide you. They even offer two spice styles (American and Indian), each with mild, medium, and spicy. Choose wisely... or bravely. The usual dishes like tikka masala are great, but the real magic is in the South Indian menu. If you are not sure what to order, just ask--they will not steer you wrong. We have also started ordering catering for parties, and let me tell you--nothing validates food like a room full of very judgmental Indian relatives going back for seconds and thirds. At our last event, the quiet "this is really good" nods said everything. We ordered chicken Chettinad, salmon curry, aloo gobi, goat biryani, and garlic naan--every single dish was outstanding. The only tragedy? Not enough leftovers for the next day. And do not skip the filter coffee. One sip, eyes closed, and you are instantly transported home, even if it's for a little while. My partner and I really like this restaurant and stop here often when we're in the area. One of us is vegetarian leaning towards vegan and the other mostly vegetarian and there are so many options for both of us. We plan to try several more... the lentil soup and coriander lemon soup are superb and we had dosas along with the wonderful soups tonight. read more

This little spot is a dark horse. Tucked into a nondescript strip mall you might just drive past it, but that would be a mistake. The menu offers a very broad list of Regional Indian Cuisine. Lamb, goat, chicken, seafood, variety of basmati rices and biryani, vegetarian dishes, dosa, tandoori, curries, Indo Chinese, a dozen different types of naan and kulchas. The four stars are for the food only. We tried the cilantro, chicken soup and the onion PAKODA, fritters, which were outstanding, the Indo Chinese vegetable fried rice was excellent, Kodi vapudu very spicy dry rub with green chilies. It was a bit different than I've had before with the addition of cashews and dark meat instead of white meat, but it was spicy and good. Ambiance is basic with fun Bollywood movies and music in the background and on the TV, clean and organized. But apparently they do a ton of takeout rather than dine in. It's taken me a week to write this but we're going again today so that should tell you something! My girls and I went for Friday lunch and tried a little of everything, all our usual favorites including malai kofta, chicken tikka Marsala and chicken korma (kurma on their menu). Garlic naan of course and mango lassi! Everything was freshly made so don't expect take out speed! Oh yes and we had chicken 65 for appetizer! Which was one of the best I've had! We tried a few new dishes; a chicken cilantro soup which I could eat by the bucket full with their homemade croutons that reminded me of English fried bread! And a weird but wonderful addition that I've never seen on an Indian menu - blue cheese stuffed naan! Every dish was available from no heat to "off menu heat" and everything was as ordered! We had no complaints with anything! The food was hot (temperature)and fresh and honestly this might have just taken over as my #1 Indian restaurant in the state and I'm pretty sure we've been to them all!!! The building itself is nothing special, but don't let that put you off. One of the 6 four/top tables was occupied when we arrived just after noon, but 5 were filled by the time we left. Much to savor, there was. Ventured to Moringa Indian Restaurant and was met with a feast worthy of the Jedi Council. Ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala (medium spice)--a wise choice, it was. Just enough heat to awaken the senses without turning to the Dark Side. Creamy, flavorful, and generous with the paneer. The Cheesy Garlic Naan? Glorious. Melted cheese, garlic, and fluffy naan--like a lightsaber duel between indulgence and comfort. Also tried the Vegetable Spring Rolls--crispy and gone faster than you can say "Order 66." Finally open after some construction delays. Worth the wait. Nice to have a decent (Northern) Indian restaurant nearby. In a strip mall with a strip mall type interior, but it's all about the food. The owners were there. They said they had no business/restaurant experience, and it showed, but they were very pleasant, friendly, accommodating, and attentive. We asked about a vegetarian tikka masala and they obliged. It was good but lacked strong flavor I'd expect. We had the palak paneer, the dish I really base on whether or not I'm going to come back to an Indian restaurant. It too was good, but lacked depth. We also had some garlic naan and onion dosa which came with 3 sauces. Both of those were excellent and very generous portions. I really like biryanis but can't find it how I like it. Their version is like all others around, even the not spicy version is quite spicy. It was ok, but a bit dry. I asked about the version i like and it turns out it's a middle eastern twist that they don't make in traditional Indian restaurants. The version I like has pistachios, cashews and currents. It's a more moist and sweet version. So, all in all, a decent experience. I think the cook is holding back on giving the full Indian depth of flavor. What a great meal! The food was the best Indian I've had in years. Fresh herbs & spices, each dish seasoned perfectly. Each dish had its' own distinctive flavor and all were excellent. We had Masala Chai, Lamb Sukha, Ginger Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Dra-Gun Shrimp, and Chili Garlic Naan. We ordered up a feast, but the portions are generous enough that some of the appetizers would be enough for a meal if you wanted. A must try! This is my second visit to this place . I had the mixed vegetable curry with the chili garlic naan,paneer tikka masala and salt lassi. The salt lassi was not on the menu but they made it for me. My friends had the masala dosa. I liked the coconut stuffed naan like a desert. The food was very tasty . Prompt and attentive service. A clean little spot with light Indian music , the most amazing owners who are delighted to help you choose or make recommendations. We felt so welcome. We both had dosa, so good! Masala Dosa was fabulous and huge. We then had a house special Chicken Biryani and Tandoori chicken kabob. We were given several sauces and chutneys to use. Delicious. We finished by sharing a sweet shake called Faluda. It had bits of ice cream, little nuts?,and chia. Very sweet . Thank God we split it. We have enough left overs for a full dinner tomorrow.
