This most recent visit I decided to dine in for lunch. There is not a lunch menu in the weekends but there are specials that were unique. We ordered appetizers to get a good range of variety. The service was sooooo slow. And the glasses seemed as if they had been sitting on the table forever. The food was tasty. I had the mustard shrimp and potato paratha. Both were amazing. My one complaint of the shrimp was that some pieces were without tails which gave the appearance that they were left over. It just seemed odd. The temperature of the shrimp were a bit under warmed for my liking but the flavor was amazing. They gave three sauces- that were all bursting with unique flavor. Some were spicy. I did see they were preparing a ton of uber eats deliveries and there appeared to be one person managing all of that. So it makes sense for the slow service. I think I'd prefer to order takeout to dine in. Although the dining room is gorgeous, I wish they had someone to be more attentive to customers and describe menu options with a bit of feeling. This was my first time ordering here. I expected pretty solid basics, based on reviews. I ordered chicken saag and tikka fries. I get chicken saag pretty often when I order Indian food from different places - it's generally a pretty "safe," option for me, cause it's familiar and generally not spicy (I'm very sensitive to spicy heat). I'm sorry to say this was the first disappointing saag I've ever had. It's so wet. Soupy, even. The color is a much brighter green than usual, and the bits of spinach are all mush... the general effect suggests it was frozen and quickly reheated. It's also spicy, despite selecting "mild." It's edible, I'll get through my day. And maybe their other dishes are better, or they're just having a rough day... but oof this is a disappointing meal. Also, I had ordered through GrubHub for pick up, and it was never updated as received. After 20 min I figured it just hadn't been updated, and drove over, *hoping* I wasn't about to waste my entire hour long lunch, based on the estimated hour wait time. Always great food and mango lassi's! I would not recommend getting a soda as they skimp on ice and it was flat. The food is fantastic though and the mango lassi is so sweet and rich that it's like drinking dessert with your meal. Service is good, the staff check on you quite often and are very accommodating. Thank you for ruining our Valentine's Day. We called to make reservations, no mention of special menu only. We arrived and there was only one other couple in the restaurant, otherwise totally empty. I should mention we are REGULAR customers ... and love Indian food ... in fact it's my favorite ... hence the choice for Valentine's Day ... we eat here or do take out a couple of times a month. My family and I stopped by Muyuri with friends to cap off a fun weekend in the cabins. It was a nice day so we were able to order to go and sit outside in the sun while enjoying our food. The food came out in a decent amount of time after ordering and they even tried to find us outside once it was ready. The chicken biryanis was spicy but flavorful! We also shared some coconut based mustard shrimp which was a nice compliment to soften the peppers in the biryani. My first impression of this place is that it was small and cozy, but it was freezing! They only have beer and wine on the menu if you want a drink and they don't offer any drink menu so you kinda have to guess what kind of drinks they have. The only good thing was the Samosa Chaat and the naan. Other than that, I did not enjoy my dishes, I had the chicken tikka masala and the makhani. It wasn't very good. I've had better elsewhere and it was very disappointing. The chicken tikka was salty and it was in a light red sauce. It is supposed to be creamy. And the makhani tasted strange. Got takeout from here last Friday night and was satisfied with my first experience. First of all, the interior decor is very nice. And the the Bollywood soundtrack adds to the atmosphere. I definitely plan on trying dining in at some point in the future. We started with Bhelpur which we really enjoyed. It was perfectly executed. The garlic naan was pretty tasty as well. The only part of the meal that was not at five star level was the chicken tikka masala. The chicken was cooked well, and the sauce had nice consistency, but it was a little short on flavor. Not bad mind you, just sedate. Next time we will go up a step from medium. For me, the star of the show was the chicken korma. This dish was spot on, super, super tasty. It was basically canned tomato sauce with chopped onions thrown in with shrimp so flavorless I felt sorry for them. The meat stuffed naan didn't have meat in it. Hell, they even sent me a warm soda. Tried Muyuri for the first time and I was a little disappointed. My wife and I had the chicken vindaloo, tikka masala and saag. The tikka masala sauce was very thin, pretty bland, and had virtually no chicken in it. It was more like a soup than tikka masalas I have had at other places. At $16 (No naan or veg included), not worth the money. The vindaloo was good and pretty spicy. The saag was also good but had a bit of an odd texture. The menu was kind of confusing. Did not explain what was included with the meal. I did not want to assume it came with rice so I ordered two sides. If you are trying don't make the same mistake I did. Luckily the rice was pretty good so we won't waste it. Overall, maybe they just had an off night, but if next time it's similar, I will drive to new haven to get better quality and value. read more

It's a small but very clean restaurant with a menu that is diverse and offers some delicious dishes. We sampled the Chicken Biryani , Tikka Wings, Paneer Tikka and Mulgatawny, and came away quite satisfied. The spiciness was just as we asked, and everything was fresh and tasty. They also do some nice drinks: we really liked the Rose Mary and Aloo Ghobi. The prices are reasonable.
