The menu has tons of vegetarian and vegan options but my personal favorites are the mango chicken, madras chicken and the biryani. The mango lassi and gulab jamun are classics but the menu is varied enough so that the adventurous foodie can explore many new items. I don't eat dairy and the chef was careful to make me things that had no cream or butter in them. The prices are very reasonable for the location and this is truly a family owned small business that does Indian food just right!

There was parking in front but that plaza was fairly busy so the doors were all taken. Inside is decorated well if not slightly dated. There was one server was preparing portions of papad. He gestured us to sit at any open table. He was very attentive after he finished his task, but the initial interaction was very casual. We opted for the momo, a chicken madras, some poori for dipping, pashwari naan for dessert, and a chicken kebab for extra protein. Food came out quick, sat down and dug in. The momo, chicken kebab, and poori were great. Fresh, prepped well and flavorful. The momo were a highlight, made in house and although loose in the filling were seasoned and tasty. The chicken kebabs had little crisp bits of char which worked with the perfectly cooked chicken. And the Marsala sauce on the side was punchy and creamy. Even the pashwari naan was filled with a wonderful fig and cardamom filling but also toasted in salted butter to give it that salty crisp bite. The only bad bite was the curry. Overcooked chicken, no spice and one note. It was a massive disappointment from the rest of the meal. Price was reasonable, cheaper than the high end Indian places but not a bargain. Meal came out to $65, and the only thing not worth the money was the curry. I feel that they purposefully held back on spices because of our appearance, but there wasn't even salt. Never the less, the food here is of a very high caliber. The service is great, and the interior is decorated well. It's worth a try, and maybe a trek if you want momo.

The Biryani was a full tray, but it doesn't make up for being overcharged and under-served. Honestly, I've lost hope in Desi restaurants. Sorry, but this place is just not for me. They're steamed and the inside was juicy and full of flavor! It came with a tomato chutney (cold) but it honestly didn't need a sauce at all. Chicken Saag was delicious but my favorite dish was the Shrimp Jalfrezi! Nothing beats that tomato base sauce with all the spices. We got our spice level "medium" and it was perfect for us. You can feel the heat but still enjoy all the flavors of the dishes. Garlic naan was a great vehicle to clean our plates to leave no sauce behind. Service was great. The ambiance is spacious and minimalistic. Their parking lot is one way so it can be tricky if someone goes out in the wrong direction (happened to us) where you have to go out of your way to get back into the proper direction to pull in.
